Oyesquare10:If she returns the 3M what will she use on getting to Canada? Let's be careful about removing money from account after applying, the vo has every right to ask for updated SOA at anytime during the processing time. Imagine if that happens and there's no money left in her account. I won't encourage that 1 Like |

Oyesquare10:Great, let the sponsor pay the 3M into her account before she reapplies |
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by mcobex: 12:31pm On Jan 19, 2021 |
Oyesquare10:Then the vo made a mistake. She can appeal the case (if she has the time and resources) or reapply and BOLDLY state her sponsor has showed commitment by paying her fees, so she doesn't know why they delayed her based on her sponsor |

Chukwubuikexo:What he/she meant by distant relative is that they didn't share same surname, that's why she refers to the sponsor as her "uncle"(that's my understanding). In cases like this, showing commitment (paying the applicant's tuition fee and living expenses before application)will convince the vo. Also, if the sponsor has ever assisted the applicant in the past it will be nice to also draw the vo's attention to it Cc: @Oyesquare10 |

Oyesquare10:Did the sponsor submitted his international passport or any recognised form of identification? If yes, do they have same surname? As a 3rd party, the sponsor is supposed to show commitment by paying the said fund (tuition and living expenses) into the applicant's account or pay the tuition fee to the school before application 1 Like |

oyibo4real:My bank statement is the same thing as the normal SOA, just that it is more digital (like the vo uses the password to access your account details, while the normal SOA is manual). Since your bank is part the banks in the Mybankstement platform, all you need do is explain to the vo that banks don't issue Mybankstement for joint account and you are good. 2 Likes |

Godsent200:Not mentioning your current status means you have to tell the vo what you have been doing after graduating from secondary school (I want to believe it's been at least 3 years since you left secondary school). So, do you have anything to say to cover that? if not then you have to declare your current status and explain that due to some unforseen issues you couldn't concentrate on your studies, that's why your family wants to send you outside so you use that opportunity to avoid the distractions you had in Nigeria. And you hope to perform better this time |

oyibo4real:If you can't get my bank statement you can ask for the regular statement of account (it will be enough). So, don't beat yourself. Just upload the regular SOA and you are good to go. N.B: Hope you have a letter from your husband authorizing you to use the said fund for your education? I mean, your husband needs to write a letter of support stating he is aware and sponsoring you. 3 Likes |

Inestimable61:Since your application has exceeded the 20 days NSE time you can send an email to IRCC showing proof of your lessons. Though you are not supposed to register for any course without securing your TRV, so your mail should be well structured (don't be too persuasive). Good luck 1 Like |

illocution:You can use your in-law as sponsor, but let him show commitment by paying your tuition fee (if your school accepts payment before resumption and their return policy favours you), then transfer your living expenses into your personal account. If sending the entire fund to your sister is what you prefer, then you need to show your sister is financially capable of sponsoring you beyond your first year(if you program is for more than a year), by showing her source of income (business, job payslip etc..). Since you don't have much time, I will prefer the first option 1 Like |

Benbooms:First, if you already have undergraduate admission offer why still ask for the list? Secondly, why go for another undergraduate program when you already have a degree? The space in between won't be a problem as long as you explain "thoroughly" what you did between that time(I want to believe you were busy getting your BSc. at the time). My advice to you will be to apply for post graduate admission (Masters or PGD) then use the offer to apply for your visa. If you decide to still go for your present offer(undergraduate) you will have to explain a lot of things and that will lead you to tell lies(which will hunt you in future). So think wisely. N.B: Apply for post graduate admission and your path to securing your visa will be less stressful |

@Elizdee You have nothing to worry about, just go and do your medical and send the payment slip to IRCC on the same day (because it will take the clinic about 3 days to send the result to IRCC ). |

Elizdee:Another angle I will like to look into is this: What is the agent's reason for not telling you about the NSE request? Have you paid her the agreed amount for her services? Here we don't encourage people using agents, but if you end up using one then you must keep to the terms and condition to your agreement. I am not saying you breached any terms but will like to know the agent's reason for doing this to you. N.B: You can always change your login password since you now have access to your account. 1 Like |

Elizdee:You have the loging details of your account, you can simply change your password so only you have access to it. Secondly, you can send your medical slip/receipt to IRCC via email. Check previous pages for the list of emails you can send to. Make sure you quote your UCI, name 1 Like |

Oluwayemisi0507:The plot of land in this case can only be used as home-tie (if it is yours or gifted to you by your sponsor). So no need including it in your app at this stage. |

amaoadetayo:3.5 and 4.0 in a system of 5, right? That's 2.1 in your last two years, right? If yes then you might be considered. Another thing is, try to apply to more than one school and also consider some PGD courses to increase your chances of getting admission |

javaRookie:We are all unique in our own ways, so our preference doesn't have to be the same. Just like people are rushing to Canada, that's how others prefer Germany. Both countries application can be stressful and at the same time very straightforward. You need to know that no two cases are the same. So the bottom point is, go to where you think will favour you and your plans |

Evergeen22:1. If it is less expensive in Nigeria will you fly back to Nigeria just for medical? Lol 2. If it is IRCC accredited physicians then they will accept it 3. They will send the result to IRCC in the space of 2-5 days after your test. They will only give you a receipt to show you have done and paid for your medical (you can later decide to upload it to your application if you feel like, but that's not the result) 4. IRCC will send you an email asking you to go for your biometric and the address of the visa centre in your country/city will be sent to you. You can also search online to see the Canadian visa centre closest to you (in most countries IRCC uses the services of visa application centres to help get those information and accept paper applications from applicants).... Google that 5. Yes you can do both on the same day. But you need to plan your movement the right way. Biometric (thumbprint and capturing) will be done after you have submitted your application (might take between 2 days to 2 weeks after your application, depending on when they send your biometric invitation). As for medical, if you intend to go for upfront medical, you can do that before applying then submit your payment receipt together with your application (meaning you will not do medical and biometric on the same day). Another option will be you submit your application without medical, then once you get your biometric invitation you can now book an appointment with the physician on the same day (after your biometric). Once you get the receipt you can send to IRCC whenever you want. The last option will be to apply, wait for your biometric invitation, then later on wait to receive medical invitation (this will most likely be on a different date) 2 Likes |
