Thank you.
Please she's planning of going through NSE as she already wrote IELTS a year ago with 7.5 bands but as regard the My Bank Statement, will the VO have access to her account activities after application as she might need to return the 3M after application?
If she returns the 3M what will she use on getting to Canada? Let's be careful about removing money from account after applying, the vo has every right to ask for updated SOA at anytime during the processing time. Imagine if that happens and there's no money left in her account.
I won't encourage that

You are right, maternal relative but not so immediate. The sponsor paid her tuition fee which was stated in her previous application. There's plan for the sponsor to send 3M to her account one month to her re application now but we are trying to get what the VO meant by that statement so as to guide in the document to also add.
Great, let the sponsor pay the 3M into her account before she reapplies

Oyesquare10:
Yes, the sponsor submitted his international passport and also paid her tuition fee from his bank. Both the passport and receipt were attached to his initial application.
Then the vo made a mistake. She can appeal the case (if she has the time and resources) or reapply and BOLDLY state her sponsor has showed commitment by paying her fees, so she doesn't know why they delayed her based on her sponsor

Maternal or paternal uncle?
She should provide the corresponding birth certificate (which is a govt issued I.D) of her mum or Dad to show relationship with the uncle. Plus their respective passports, a family tree diagram in the SOP would help, plus family pictures
What he/she meant by distant relative is that they didn't share same surname, that's why she refers to the sponsor as her "uncle"(that's my understanding). In cases like this, showing commitment (paying the applicant's tuition fee and living expenses before application)will convince the vo. Also, if the sponsor has ever assisted the applicant in the past it will be nice to also draw the vo's attention to it

Hello house,

Please my sister who was delayed for Study permit last year got her GCMS notes and one of the statement made by the VO was that her "Relationship with her sponsor was not established by way of official government issued I.D". What does this mean please. Her sponsor is her distant relative but she claimed Uncle in her letter.
Thank you
Did the sponsor submitted his international passport or any recognised form of identification? If yes, do they have same surname?
As a 3rd party, the sponsor is supposed to show commitment by paying the said fund (tuition and living expenses) into the applicant's account or pay the tuition fee to the school before application

Thank you so much for your prompt response as always. Yes, he stated that in his sworn affidavit of support and we also have a reference letter from the bank. Please will the SOA serve as Mybankstatement since they always request for the later even after submitting SOA?
My bank statement is the same thing as the normal SOA, just that it is more digital (like the vo uses the password to access your account details, while the normal SOA is manual).
Since your bank is part the banks in the Mybankstement platform, all you need do is explain to the vo that banks don't issue Mybankstement for joint account and you are good.

Hello to everyone on this thread, pls I just want to ask a few questions.I hope it all get answered, from all what I had seen and read on this platform, I'm very happy there are people like these here. Thanks in advance.
So,I recently got admission to one university in Canada and I'm going to start processing my study permit very soon.I was wondering if I should tell them about my current academic status(I'm about to start 300 level in a university in Nigeria).
So, I want to know if I should say anything about it in my letter of explanation. The admission I got in Canada is about me starting all over again because I messed up(I have a bad results in my current university) and my family are giving me a second chance, hence my question.
I will really appreciate it if I get an answer soon. Thanks in advance.

Not mentioning your current status means you have to tell the vo what you have been doing after graduating from secondary school (I want to believe it's been at least 3 years since you left secondary school).
So, do you have anything to say to cover that? if not then you have to declare your current status and explain that due to some unforseen issues you couldn't concentrate on your studies, that's why your family wants to send you outside so you use that opportunity to avoid the distractions you had in Nigeria. And you hope to perform better this time

Good morning everyone, please I need a clarification on this:

My husband and I have a joint Bank account with Zenith which we've been operating since 2013, and it is this account we normally use to save up and execute family projects. This account has a closing balance of 18m and we had intended to present it as a funding account for my study. Now, Zenith is saying Mybankstatement CANNOT be generated for such account(joint account)or even a corporate account. Like seriously? At this critical moment that am 80% ready to submit my application? Can someone with a knowledge of how these things work(in the banking system) explain please cos this is crazy.

My head has been spinning since yesterday and I dont know where to go from here. Somebody help me cry cry cry
If you can't get my bank statement you can ask for the regular statement of account (it will be enough). So, don't beat yourself. Just upload the regular SOA and you are good to go.
N.B: Hope you have a letter from your husband authorizing you to use the said fund for your education? I mean, your husband needs to write a letter of support stating he is aware and sponsoring you.

Guys I have not gotten medical request and submitted NSE requirement since December 4th. Starting classes online today . Do you advice I send a message to IRCC via web form to inform them of this development or I should just wait?
Since your application has exceeded the 20 days NSE time you can send an email to IRCC showing proof of your lessons. Though you are not supposed to register for any course without securing your TRV, so your mail should be well structured (don't be too persuasive).
Good luck

Please i really need advice on this someone please help.
You can use your in-law as sponsor, but let him show commitment by paying your tuition fee (if your school accepts payment before resumption and their return policy favours you), then transfer your living expenses into your personal account.
If sending the entire fund to your sister is what you prefer, then you need to show your sister is financially capable of sponsoring you beyond your first year(if you program is for more than a year), by showing her source of income (business, job payslip etc..).
Since you don't have much time, I will prefer the first option

Hello,
Good morning to y’all.
Pls I just got an undergraduate admission from the University of Manitoba, canada. I’m about to commence visa application now.

Here are my concerns:

Althou I have the required credits but @ 2 sittings. I combined WAEC and GCE o’level results written in 2yrs intervals.... is that a red flag or not?

Also, my O’levels dated 2001 & 2003 respectively which is 17- 20yrs now... will this not raise doubts in the thoughts of the VO whether I have a post-secondary school degree in between that long intervals in years and other things I’m not declaring?
Although I have a university degree and 5yrs working experience, should I just declare these in my visa application or not?

I need help I beg y’all in God’s name. (Top urgent pls)

(NB- I also need list of requirements for Canada undergraduate study pls)
First, if you already have undergraduate admission offer why still ask for the list?
Secondly, why go for another undergraduate program when you already have a degree?
The space in between won't be a problem as long as you explain "thoroughly" what you did between that time(I want to believe you were busy getting your BSc. at the time).
My advice to you will be to apply for post graduate admission (Masters or PGD) then use the offer to apply for your visa.
If you decide to still go for your present offer(undergraduate) you will have to explain a lot of things and that will lead you to tell lies(which will hunt you in future).
So think wisely.
N.B: Apply for post graduate admission and your path to securing your visa will be less stressful

@Elizdee You have nothing to worry about, just go and do your medical and send the payment slip to IRCC on the same day (because it will take the clinic about 3 days to send the result to IRCC ).

Either account will do

I will advise against this one o.. Nigerians are making this canada parole difficult for everybody. A letter says you have to submit an IELTS result. If u don't have the required mark or can't write the exam, pls have your application handle under the normal channel.

Imagine everybody starts sending a waiver cos it worked for one person, what the outcome will be. More strict rules.

My 2kobo
You are right bro, soon people will abuse the process.

I have edited my post. Thanks bro

Thank you for the swift response!

I submitted my ielts before the deadline . My issue is I wasn’t told immediately the request dropped.

The agent gets all the mails. I didn’t do biometrics because I did one in 2017 and it’s still valid.

God bless.
Another angle I will like to look into is this: What is the agent's reason for not telling you about the NSE request? Have you paid her the agreed amount for her services?
Here we don't encourage people using agents, but if you end up using one then you must keep to the terms and condition to your agreement.
I am not saying you breached any terms but will like to know the agent's reason for doing this to you.

Goodmorning people,

Please I applied in September,2020 through an agent who refused to give me my login details for a very long time . I finally got my login details from her last week after a lot of insults and all.

When I checked my portal, I discovered NSE request was sent to me on 13th of November, 2020 but this Evil woman didn’t tell me until 2nd of December, 2020 giving me 11 days to submit as deadline was 13th of December, 2020. I was so angry when I found out .

The main issue now is, I haven’t gotten any update from IRCC till now and I went ahead booking my medical date which is next Tuesday. Please how can I submit this medical result without consulting the agent?. She has the email address she uses for the application with her . I was only given the login details. Please is there any way I can do it without telling her.

My resumption is 18th of January,2021 and no update. Please I need your advice.

Thank you
You have the loging details of your account, you can simply change your password so only you have access to it.
Secondly, you can send your medical slip/receipt to IRCC via email. Check previous pages for the list of emails you can send to.
Make sure you quote your UCI, name

The last two grades were 3.5 and 4.0 respectively. A fresh graduate to be precise from the department of Environmental Engineering with the hope of having Msc in the same dept.

I just want to know if someone can put in with such grades, or someone has to do some sort of diploma programme first.
3.5 and 4.0 in a system of 5, right? That's 2.1 in your last two years, right? If yes then you might be considered.
Another thing is, try to apply to more than one school and also consider some PGD courses to increase your chances of getting admission

But Canada university are not tuition free. And you still have to pay for Visa and all that thereby compounding expenses.

Do you know how much on the average one is expected to use for getting to Germany vs that of Canada? Visa, School fees and all(just on the average, I know each school have differing tuition fees)?

I just want to compare both countries based on cost and make my decision, because I kind of like the free education Germany offers.

Also, from what I seeing here, procurement of Canada visa seems stressful, too many protocols for the Education route vs Germany that the university doesn't require much for Masters.
We are all unique in our own ways, so our preference doesn't have to be the same.
Just like people are rushing to Canada, that's how others prefer Germany.
Both countries application can be stressful and at the same time very straightforward. You need to know that no two cases are the same.
So the bottom point is, go to where you think will favour you and your plans

i just got off the phone with an Accredited physician and it costs 1500rmb(115,000 naira) for the upfront medicals, now my questions are

1. is it this expensive in Nigeria?

2. hope the Canadian embassy would approve of it , or should i just wait till they direct me on which specific clinic to go cause 115k much to gamble now

3. will they send the medical report to the Canadian embassy or will i have to go back and pick it up myself?

4. Since i am submitting online, where will i go for the thumb print? or will the embassy direct me to where i will thumbprint here in china ?

5. i don't live in the city where i will go for the medicals. can i do the medicals and thumb print same day ?

Please an insight would really help a brother

1. If it is less expensive in Nigeria will you fly back to Nigeria just for medical? Lol
2. If it is IRCC accredited physicians then they will accept it
3. They will send the result to IRCC in the space of 2-5 days after your test. They will only give you a receipt to show you have done and paid for your medical (you can later decide to upload it to your application if you feel like, but that's not the result)
4. IRCC will send you an email asking you to go for your biometric and the address of the visa centre in your country/city will be sent to you. You can also search online to see the Canadian visa centre closest to you (in most countries IRCC uses the services of visa application centres to help get those information and accept paper applications from applicants).... Google that
5. Yes you can do both on the same day. But you need to plan your movement the right way.
Biometric (thumbprint and capturing) will be done after you have submitted your application (might take between 2 days to 2 weeks after your application, depending on when they send your biometric invitation). As for medical, if you intend to go for upfront medical, you can do that before applying then submit your payment receipt together with your application (meaning you will not do medical and biometric on the same day). Another option will be you submit your application without medical, then once you get your biometric invitation you can now book an appointment with the physician on the same day (after your biometric). Once you get the receipt you can send to IRCC whenever you want.
The last option will be to apply, wait for your biometric invitation, then later on wait to receive medical invitation (this will most likely be on a different date)
