techmo:What did you mean by APC, Police et all "raping" PDP as you did in Kogi? Oh you calling on them to help you count results? Shameless thing! Don't quote me until you learn to discuss politics as is done uptown where government allows level playing field devoid of using State machineries to arm-twist voters. Go delete that rubbish when you write. Rape ko, thug ni. |
techmo:So you de fear free and fair elections? Go test POI's popularity and stop banking on rigging, bloody thug. |
Oshiomhole now lacks the clout to deliver Edo. Worse still is that videos of Oshiobaba calling out Ize Iyamu as a thief and cultist is in circulation. How en wan change mouth now? |
Jesusloveyou:You are jumping issues. I tackled you on Oshiomhole going on appeal over his chairmanship issues; you failed to respond and went on to the issue of Obaseki losing out of APC. Let's discuss this. 1. Oshiomhole at the time had the yam and knife decide APC's primary's outcome. He did that. However at what expense, losing his chairmanship. He's back to square zero. 2. Unlike Ambode, Obaseki fought hard and toppled Oshiomole's relevance in the State. He defected to PDP and still has a shot at Osadebe Avenue. 3. He has chances of winning cause he is very much loved by the people and Omo no ba (Oba gha to kpeye). Edo South and Edo Central alone can give him victory. The strong hold of Oshiomhole i.e Edo Central has in recent times gone the way of Philip Shuaibu who is a torn in Oshiomhole's flesh and the brain behind Oshiomhole's many troubles. How else can you explain his ward suspending him? 4. Since Oshiomhole lost national relevance, there is very little he can do to help Ize-Iyamu whom he once taunted as being a thief (PDP plans to air the video where Oshiomhole did say that.). 5. The new APC leadership is too busy planning their convention and scheming who gets what, so they are not so concerned with Ize Iyamu and even if they were, they don't know Edo politics. Oshiomhole's thugs have been decimated and have gone into hiding. Lastly you no dey Benin, you can't be staying in a those places at the same time. If you de Benin, meet me for my office for Siluko Road on Monday, will buy you a drink. |
jericco1:Are you in the State? |
Jesusloveyou:Hahaha. My brother, why did Oshiomhole appeal the decision suspending him as chairman if he no like chairmanship. For the records I was born and till date I live in Edo state, behind Winners Chapel on Sapele Road in Benin. Call me any day if you are in Benin and you'll see me. As we speak ask Slowmir, Oshiomhole has no structure in Benin. Oshiomole's fortress was Auchi, but Shaibu has decimated his relevance in Auchi, and recent happenings don further fall en hand. |
Jesusloveyou:Hahaha. The wrongest analysis I've seen in a while. If what you are saying is correct, why has Oshiomhole been fighting hard to remain national chairman? |
1972xy:Sir he's not complaining about the money and time na. Everyone can't be Ambode who will throw in the towel before a fight. It's only fair Obaseki gives it a shot, if he loses, then he'd atleast say he gave it a try. Where is Oshiomhole today? If Obaseki had not stood up, Oshiomhole would have had his way. Allow my governor go through. |
authority2006:Soon body go tell. Ask Sarrki, ask the Borno and Katsina youths that now abuse, throw stones at his convoy and burn down his posters, ask Area Elders and Youth forums that come out to castigate him in recent times. One thing is obvious, Buhari has lost all the good will he had in 2015. appears to have even gone underground because it appears it's becoming increasingly difficult to defend Buhari. |
Dansuqi:Where your street dey for Benin? You sit somewhere and put up arguments when you aren't on ground. Go ask, in Edo both PDP and APC members love Obaseki and want him back. He's like a Fashola here. Na Oshiomhole no want am back. It's difficult for Oshiomhole to even criticize Obaseki in terms of "work", he keeps shouting party loyalty, what does that mean? |
If you know you once supported Buhari and today regret it, click like. Make we know how many we be. If care is not taking, na everybody for nairaland go click even , after all you can't tell who clicked. |
kestor:You be man. My office is at Siluko Road, just incase you are in Benin. Stop by when you can and have a drink. |
Jesusloveyou:Lmao. I no sure say you de Benin. Erediauwa road to Upper, Eriaria Road, PZ Road, Limit Road, Boundary Road to Adesuwa, Roads within Trade fair, Behind Central Hospital that terminates at Airport Road, the Road after bypass through Divine Wisdom that terminates at Airport Road. The new High Court Complex, the EDSTMA complex, what of the secretariats? Come where for Benin you dey sef? Una go dey else where de claim Benin. If you dey here, my office is at Siluko Road, come see me and I'll buy you a drink, then we discuss. |
techmo:So he should have gone home, and how will that benefit him? Everyone isn't Ambrose. I'm an Efik guy based in Edo. I witnessed Igbinedion's tenure, Osunbor's stint, Oshiomole's tenure and that of Obaseki. Obaseki is by far the best amongst them. Road infrastructure from Sapele road to Third to Upper down to Ekenwan road to Airport road axis. Upgraded our civil service both in human capacity and in infrastructure. Opened up production centres, too many to mention. Have you observed Oshiomhole and his supporters never faulted Obaseki based on work, they keep crying he isn't a party man. We dey laugh de wait Oshiomhole. |
oluwasegun007:Wrong. Ambode threw in the towel too early. No man knows tomorrow. Who would have thought Oshiomhole would be shown the way out of the APC Chairmanship position? How are you sure the tides won't finally turn in Obaseki's favour? Mind you I was born and raised and I still live in Benin. Obaseki is a man loved widely especially in Edo South and Central. Slowmir happens to reside in Benin too, ask him. Only a coward gives up before the fight begins. |
Sleevia:"An entrepreneur is an individual who creates a new business, bearing most of the risks and enjoying most of the rewards. The entrepreneur is commonly seen as an innovator, a source of new ideas, goods, services, and business/or procedures." Has nothing to a with him wanting to stay afloat in business, which is what Dangote is trying to do. Really with respect you weren't making a point when you raised the issue of "meaning of entrepreneur" or whatever; if you think you were, give your definition, tying it to the subject of discuss. |
Sleevia:My brother while I do not support Dangote's monopolistic inclinations, I beg to disagree with you that an entrepreneur that is afraid of competition is not worth being an entrepreneur. Actually every business man hates completion, whether it's DSTV, Apple or Dangote. However, it is up to government to put in place Anti-trust laws that will check monopoly. If you get store and one rent part out, chances are you will instruct your tenant not to sell same wares as you. |
Not until Nigeria gets its political process right, not much will be achieved. INEC should use Edo and Ondo as pilot states for the exercise. |
The Edo and Ondo elections are very much around the corner and INEC has maintained that regardless of the global pandemic, it will go ahead with the elections. Well, the time for this government to begin the process of electronic voting is now. Government cannot condemn public gatherings- birthday parties, burials etc, while asking millions of people to leave their houses, converge on certain locations to vote. The LASG yesterday tested the waters on this subject when on twitter it asked people to vote over the lock-down exercise. Recall that electoral process has been subject of several reforms, but government continue to roll out excuses why it cannot use the e-voting system. Only the government of Goodluck Jonathan has encouraged the deployment of technology to voting by introducing card-readers. Mynd 44, Afamed, Lalasticlala |
phockallmods:Thanks my brother. Heard this explanation. Question is, "do the others not have Latin names, how come Potassium was singled out?" Well I guess it's about accepting the things you can't change. |
Lorenzena:Big congrats. That's huge. Not cut out for sciences, probably would have been a pharmacist. Couldn't figure out why "Potassium" is "K," meanwhile "Hydrogen" is "H" and "Helium;" "He." A lawyer now, finished from Uniben and practicing with my office in Benin. I look back and no regrets for not trying to figure out why Potassium is "K." Will always question that crap. |
Lorenzena:Igbinedion University Okada. What level are you now? |
allthingsgood:As expected. Your rude ignorant ass has been schooled and cannot figure out an intelligent response. |
allthingsgood:If you were smart enough, you'd observe I'm very careful about my written English; "dump" as against "dumb" could only have been my device altering spellings. However, how will you know when clearly you are an illerate? I'll school you as a Master holder in International Aviation Law. The Chicago Convention of 1944 governs international aviation. Article 1 to the Treaty grants sovereign control of a State's territorial airspace. Article 2 limits the territory of State's airspace to the land areas and territorial waters adjacent thereto under the sovereignty of such state. Your territorial airspace therefore isn't unlimited and has borders. Therefore for you to operate, fly in and out on scheduled flights into or over a country's border, you must first obtain a licence from that country to operate. And for unscheduled flights, such carrier must first seek the permission (which permission may be granted or not) of such State before it can fly over or land. You lots come here, without knowing the person on the other side, not knowing his level of exposure, his pedigree; you come here and start talking trash. Every sovereign state has borders; land, air and sea. Finally if your "airspace" has since been shut how come persons were still flying in till 2 weeks ago. Do you still want to be schooled on that? Are you aware that it was only last week the Lagos and Abuja international airports were shut? Now quit my mention as it takes time to sit down texting to educate your illiterate, stubborn and too proud to learn chap like you. |
allthingsgood:SMH. It takes great effort not to insult you. I won't condescend low to cursing you. You should be smart enough to know if all borders are shut, Kyari won't be flying out or in, or in your warped reasoning only land has borders? To think that you still can insult people with your poorly concocted grammar and level of ignorance leaves one dump founded. Please leave my mention. |
allthingsgood:Are you okay? You just jump into people's mention and ask them to shut up in a rude fashion? You call partial closure to prevent the import of rice and few commodities closure? Are you not aware that up and until 2weeks back people still flew into the country? How did Abba Kyari contract the virus to share at the Villa? How come you've been seeing incidents of "returning travellers?" The next time you want to be rude to unknown persons, hit your head on the wall severally; it will help. |
DominusPrime:My brother, with respect you still are not getting my point. You can't as we speak point out anytime PDP presented itself as being a party of saints. Oshiomhole came on air to say once you decamp to APC, your sins are forgiven. Never in the history of Nigeria's democracy have we seen flagrant abuse of Rule of Law and the courts. Order of courts not being obeyed, it never was so under PDP. Talking of hypocrisy, Jonathan never went about victimising opponents, but Buhari who benefited from Sowore's criticism of Jonathan, locked him up, but for calls from Nigerians; yet Ganduje who we saw involved in receiving kick-backs was supported for re-election by Buhari. Abeg no just compare Jonathan to Buhari, there is always a lesser evil. |
desiredhome:Buhari's terrible and sometimes life-damning decisions have nothing to do with scarcity of resources or opposition. Rather it is triggered by ethno-religious sentiment. How do you explain Buhari's decision to grant amnesty to a terrorist group that killed not less than forty soldiers in one day? How do you explain Buhari's decision not to shut borders a month ago till covid-19 flooded our country? How do you explain Buhari's refusal to grant press interviews from time to time, feeling the pulse of Nigerians as done by past leaders? Are these as a result of scarce resources or opposition's calumny? |
DominusPrime:Don't know what you made of my earlier statement, but neither Atiku or PDP has claimed being a Saint. Rather it's APC that portrayed Buhari as one incorruptible leader whose reign will see to an end corruption; forgetting that corrupting is embedded in our culture as a people and only a systemic approach will stem the tide. Jonathan started the TSA in an attempt to wage that systemic war. I recall a pre-2015 post where Buhari observed traffic rules and we were amazed, taken aback; but now an order of Court is thrown out the window. Who again is the hypocrite here? |
DominusPrime:One part presented itself as a saint, misled many. That part sure wasn't PDP. |
