Nigerians are naturally wicked, they deserve strong hand like the military.....when these ones insulting Buhari now were busy embezzling the money, they didn't know they were destroying the Country? They suddenly forgot their slogan, "SHARE THE MONEY" after killing the country they still have mouth to talk?
Awon Wailers club of Nigeria, nairaland branch,
But the person that apologized supported Buhari pre-2015. You never complained of him looting then. I also supported Buhari, I never was part of any looting agenda. My brother truth is Jonathan was a better leader. One's level of education will always reflect in leadership.

Pls don't answer the foolish wailers. They are angry no more free money to loot. Cursed fools
Free money to loot? Buhari opened wide our borders for pandemic despite calls on him for over a month to shut borders. How should anyone not criticize that move? It's trouble brought to our individual families including yours by Buhari's ineptitude.

I prefer a government whose failure is as a result of unavoidable circumstances and world politics to a government who had all available resources to be successful, yet they looted all.
So Buhari is a failure now? Truth will always prevail. Goodluck!

Nigerians didn't just criticize, many asked Buhari to shut the borders before the entrant of Covid-19, so I ask how many advice has Buhari adhered to?

So you rendered all your arguments about Jonathan invalid by your last statement.

Thank you.
No mind that one. If nothing, Jonathan never granted repented Boko Haram terrorist amnesty. That is too demoralising.

Why not grant amnesty to Kidnappers, Drug dealers and Armed Robbers, who said they were no brainwashed too?

It unfortunate the South keeps bearing the brunt of the North's mischief.

Sad! See how Buhari lost so much goodwill he garnered in 2015. If you think he won 2019 elections after post-poning the elections and installing a puppet CJN, then you are joking.

Are you saying Buhari has not done one single good since he came into power.

Do you know what would have happened to Nigeria if he opens his mouth to talk as carelessly as Trump does?
Single good? And why it even be a single good? Go back to pre-2015 and look up the campaign promises Buhari-led APC made. I mean almost every one fell flat like Buhari is bringing an Eldorado. Since then, howfa security, what about job creation, power nko? The man is instead busy raising VAT, borrowing, etc. What pro-people's policy has he come up with?

About talking carelessly, don't go there. Whoever said Nigerian youths are lazy ?

There is the police, army and navy. The protect yoruba as much as they protect others. Must yoruba people form a tribal security outfit before they feel protected? Even when doing so contravenes the contents of the constitution? Although, I know that Amotekun will fail but attempting to create is a big attack on unity of this country. yoruba have elders who cannot think but rather behave like untamed donkeys. The consequences of what you have done will be dire. Those who embrace you with love are the people you stab but you call it wisdom.
My brother for once respect people's choice(s). If the yorubas choose to pull out of the country cause it's not working, it's their choice. If they choose to operate a security outfit; respect it. This is a democracy. The constitution was made for man and can't take precedent over the lives of people.

Have non-fulani's fallen victims of the terror acts of these group? Have there been killings and kidnappings in the South by these killer herdsmen? If they have, then you no right determining how they choose to protect themselves.
If Fulanis are being killed by their Fulani brothers, it's their case, but don't go on a killing spree of non-fulanis.

False alarm and panic everywhere, see south west that nothing happens to talking about regional Police, how many people died in South West? Look at the case well and u will see that the vigilante group is a tribal affair, benue that has suffered alot aren't even talking about policing, it's Lagos with only 5 deaths
They should wait till they totally wiped out? What happened to the word "proactive?"
PoliticsRe: Amotekun: Group Gives Tinubu 24 Hours To Reveal Position by mcquin(m): 9:13pm On Jan 18, 2020

I think your obsession with Tinubu is very worrying

Awolowo spoke on all issues with regionalistic veiws, Buhari might work behind doors for North but never would you see him openly speak on RUGA, or Amotekun never!! only his minions, and as for Tafa Balewa (golden voice of Africa) he was too Pan African for tribal and regional issues, he is fathered by a returned educated slave who located his root back to Northern Nigeria so he was not intrested in pettiness of region and that was why Sarduna sent him as Prime Minister.. same as Nnamdi Azikwe he was pan Nigeria and Pan African and never supported Ojukwu or Biafra
You must really think Tinubu bothers me. Atleast my Naira dear record is there for all to see.
Atleast you admitted Awolowo addressed issues of his region ahead of national sentiments. Clap for yourself.
However to say Buhari has been addressing issues of his region behind the curtain is plain stupidity. For a man whose appointments have revealed his level of bigotry? Did his spokesperson not throw their weight behind Ruga? Who does his spokesperson speak for, me? His government has since taken many critical projects to Daura. Did Buhari not speak out against Jonathan fighting Boko Haram. Was he not a national leader? You come here to show case your ignorance.

Go back and read up on the late Tafawa Balewa, how he spoke on preserving first the interest of the Hausa/Fulani.

first Tinubu and his team started the DAWN (developmental agenda of western nigeria) commision that initiated Amotekun
secondly the frame work would be based on Lagos state Neigborhood watch Act
thirdly Osun and Lagos are stake holders and contributed equal cars and finance
lastly Obasanjo and Tinubu are not making open comments because they are National leaders that have grown past regionalism
If Tinubu did all that you claim, it shouldn't be difficult for him to come out in open support of the program.
Was Awolowo not a national leader, did he not take positions that first safeguard the interest of his people? Was Tafawa Balewa not a national leader, did he no stand up for his people when it mattered? Is Tinubu more of a national leader than Buhari, has Buhari not been protecting the interest of his region since God knows when?

Stop with the lame excuses. Admit Tinubu's selfishness.

whatever you like say, thats your knowledge of politics.. but politics is about getting things done and not making un needed noise to heat up polity

how many times have you seen Tinubu make statement anyhow? and hasn't he being oulling connection behind curtains for people accross the country? havent you seen Governors elect, senators and federal reps going to thank him for his political generosity? have you ever seen him goto press for any of this?
I'll start with your last point. Tinubu has always used the Press and was outspoken on restructuring during Jonathan's administration. He's suddenly gone MIS on Amotekun that is a sure way to restructuring because of his ambition.
You talked about politics being about "getting things done." Wetin be the thing en do? Instead of standing up to be counted, showing leadership as Afenifere, he's hiding behind the curtains and you say he's getting things done? Do you know as a Yoruba leader, his position on this matter is critical and will give the region a sense of direction?
The obvious truth many of you have refused to admit is Tinubu's selfish ambition is reason he is not speaking. Was Tinubu not outspoken during the "subsidy removal" brouhaha? SMH

Because he knows that Buhari might want to use federal might to rig the election. Hence the birth of Amotekun.

Tinubu is not the beginning and the end of everything in Nigeria, he doesn't have to be in the middle of everything in Nigerian and the fact that to some of you, nothing in Nigeria is relevant or means anything unless you see and hear from Tinubu even when it's not necessary says a lot about the man, his power and omnipotent presences in your daily realities.

Amotekun is the brainchild of serving governors and public officials in the SW, the same governors are capable of defending their program and they are successfully defending their efforts so they don't need Tinubu to speak for them, to undercut them or turn the whole into a Tinubu Vs FG affair.

This is when sensible, pragmatic and smart leaders stay above the fray and if needed, control, twist elbows and offer valuable ideas and advice in the background.

The people ranting about Tinubu not saying anything because they care about the SW or because they love Tinubu, they'd just love to see an open confrontation and turn the issue into Tinubu Vs Buhari instead of SW security Network Vs FG.

Tinubu is a smart man and he's doing the right thing by letting the governors defend and push through their efforts without taking the shine away from them or undercut their efforts and credibilities.

People need to relax and quit acting like babies.
Is Buhari against his top ally protecting his region? Why must Tinubu support a man that hates to see the SW being protected? Or is the SW now regretting supporting Buhari?

It is easy to be emotional about some of this things. But a little understanding of how things work in this country will reveal to you why BAT silence is for his good. he has political ambition and whatever he says or do now will count against him. He is a political leader.
Yoruba proverb says ' if you are yet to possess the matchet you can't start asking the kind of death that kill your father's.
If Tinubu is bit in support of Amotekun, Lagos State government wouldn't have supported it.
Even his enemies will be pushing him to commit blunder.
As to whether he will be president or not, only God knows.
Personal ambition ahead of the lives of the people you are to lead? Too bad but Nigerians deserve the kind of leadership they get.

If stacking dollar in agbada is what will bring development to our states then so be it. Atleast at this stage of our democracy, we can still tolerate it.
Kalu was buying properties and renting them out to the state instead of building Secretariats when he was governor(1999). that is too bad.
Buhari won his first election based his then perceived anti-corruption stance. For almost every corrupt official you find in Nigeria, there is atleast one project tied to his name.

The thread is simply about the hypocrisy is Buhari's corruption fight, that is what I want you to address.

Obaseki who APC's leader won't give breathing space has done in 4 years what Oshiomhole couldn't do in 8years as regards development and yes I'm in Benin and have so been from Lucky Igbinedion's time.

So you see, it's not the issue of development, but APC's useless hypocrisy.

What about:
1. Tinubu
2. Ganduje...?

Add yours if you wish.

Buharists will want to find a way to defend these, wanting to apply the rule of law in dealing with issues relating to the 2 above named, but have failed to admit how many are under trial on grounds of mere suspicion and nothing more.
