In 2007, we conducted the worst election in the history of Nigeria. Yar adua admitted this. But Justice Niki Tobi was the CJN. It's impossible to sack a sitting President. This country would turn upside down. In fact let Atiku bring evidence that he saw Buhari rigging in Daura with photographs, the Supreme court Judges would tell APC/Buhari's Lawyer technical grounds to use in defeating Atiku. Nigeria is not ripe for this kind of a thing
And you feel good about this? When will Nigeria be ripe? Is there not a first time to everything. You Buhari supporters sha.
Bragging that we are not ripe to unseat a President who attained office fraudulently. Smh..

It's a shame Buhari need to take to under-hand practice to win elections that he easily won in 2015.

It's worse to think you guys that condemned PDP for rigging and convinced us to vote them out are now urging Baba on.

Little wonder Buhari is your president and Nigeria is this way.

@yemobrown

July 11, 2018, presidency passed Inec budget to NASS for accent.

September 19th 2018, Presidency sent a reminder to NASS.

NASS went to sleep 3 complete months. It took public outcry n threats of protests before they passed it in October. They claimed they were on some recess, n they had to attend their party primary forgetting that without inec your primary is useless. Google is your friend.

But today, we all want to blame Buhari. Nigeria's problem is far beyond Atiku n PMB. Because if the both of you who are supposed to be educated n have access to google are reasoning like this, then there is no hope n an average aboki who has access to BBC Hausa radio is a lot more intelligent then you lot. Have you asked yourself how come the so called almajiri have more PVC than you'll?
The last I checked, NASS sent an Amended Electoral Act to the President for Assent, one that will improve the elections, till date I'm yet to see you condemned the President for failing to Assent that Bill. Next time before talking about NASS taking 3 months, talk about Buhari taking forever.

But he failed to react when Jonathan postponed the election.
If you intended to continue with such failure, why did you vote Jonathan out? If Jona postponed and you voted him out, then no excuse now that Buhari failed too.

Besides Jonathan postponed weeks to election. This was at election eve, when people had closed shops and many travelled down to vote.

Actually, most Nigerians, not just "I go die" need to be educated on what the function of each elected position of Government is.

There is too much concentration on the person at the centre n most of us don't even know who our senator or or even state house legislator is.

1. It is not Buhari's job to tar the road in front of your house.
2. It is not Buhari's job to connect the pipes that brings water from the dam to your kitchen.
3. If INEC postponed for security reasons, we can blame Buhari for not providing enough security cover but this issue has nothing to do with PMB.

There are so many elected position in Nigeria and we all shout is like for Atiku, share for Buhari. Whoever wins the next election, don't be deceived, the suffering will still continue until you start holding that councillor in your ward accountable.

Let's all enjoy the suffering, I guarantee it is not ending any time soon. Perhaps the suffering will help reset all out brains.
Some of you are really to sound like Buhari. His level of intelligence rubs off on you.
Governors and Legislators are all elected, so the people hold them to account.

Is the INEC Chairman elected or appointed? Who appointed him? On whose table does the bulk stop?

You are only as intelligent as your mentor Buhari. It's not an insult afterall you consider the man intelligent.

athorello:
If you can't show me where "the Referee" admitted he's wrong, you're still low on reasoning, and I'll just pass.
Now that you've taken a more decent approach, let's discuss.
When Atiku was questioned on Obj's perception about him, he said, "...if your former employer now turns around and admit that you are the man fit for the job, I'll employ you." In buttressing that point, Obi brought in the VAR analogy to insinuate that where your former employer holds a bad opinion about you, but with events putting things the proper perspective (VAR showing the referee what really transpired), and the employer changes his mind about you, then you are good to go.

Obi from the discuss pointed out that like the Referee, Obj changed his mind as events unfolded. There was no mention of forgiveness by the moderator, Obi or Atiku, so why not stay on what was discussed?

Funny enough if out in same position, critics won't have a better answer or were you expecting Atiku to pitch himself against Obj or Nigerians. That was APC's game plan, and I'm sorry in-depth diplomacy was deployed.

Will you keep quiet? I just dey shame for the dunces we have in Nigeria? Is like you don't know the use of Var in football? Or maybe the dunce Obi doesn't know the use of Var when he made the stupid analogy! What has var got to do with a candidate vying for a presidential position? Is this one mad ni? Yeye.
Hello please, if you can't discuss intelligently, if you are ill mannered, dogmatic and unable to reason intelligently, move to the next guy. Try not to quote me again. Thank you.

Lifeless torment all of you.
I'll refrain from going low as you. I'm cultured.
Now, was there any mention by Kadira, Atiku or Obi that Atiku was forgiven by Obj? Why not stay of the discuss from the session and avoid bringing in extraneous ideas into the town hall meeting.

And please learn not to be uncouth and discuss intelligently next time. Not everyone here is an agbero.
PoliticsRe: Atiku Abubakar And Peter Obi On "The Candidates" Live At 8pm Tonight. by mcquin(m): 12:14am On Jan 31, 2019
Kagawa10:
Lol. First, the employer-employee was more apt cos Nigeria is interviewing Pdp while viewing their past references.

Secondly, the answer shoulda followed same logic.

Thirdly, the football analogy no even follow cos we aint playing a match but wants to employ an employee.

Fourthly, ObJ never absolved Atiku of his criminal past, he just said he forgave him whereas Var would either absolve or nail a player!

Obi was a show of shame. Even Atiku did better than him and had better decorum.
First I'm happy you appreciate the fact that Atiku using the scenerio painted answered the question straight up.

It's foolishness trying so hard to restrict someone to using just one example when there are plethora of examples or comparisons to pick from. Atleast that much you've been thought in your primary school when one formula is used for solving various problem-questions. It boils down to logic. The question is l, can it easily apply? Does it appeal to logic? There are multiple scenerios that can be used to drive home same point that any opinion held can be changed. I won't want to go round and round this point again.

Lastly on the interactive session just witnessed, neither Atiku, Kadira or Obi talked about Atiku being forgiven. Why not stay on the issues discussed and avoid bringing in extraneous arguments into it.

The answer shoulda been based on same logic, that is you, the employer and reference, not a stupid football match.
Dunces wouldn't get it.
Why in heaven's name do we have figurative expressions as simile and metaphor? Whether he chooses to compare with with VAR, the important question is, "was the analogy logical?"

The question as I said earlier bothers on "holding opinion" and "discountenancing a previously wrongly held opinion." It was even intelligent of Obi to develop in so short a time a very apt scenario that clears the point.

Meanwhile you probably didn't watch the show, else you'll see where Atiku himself answered the question using the "employer-employee" logic you talked about.

But putting Obi's analogy in reality, the Referee, after consulting #VAR, says his observations and verdict stays, let's sacrifice reason on the alter of Forgiveness.

Meanwhile, I might forgive but never forget and give you the opportunity to hurt me again.
Did anybody there whether Atiku or Obi talk about Obj forgiving Atiku? You now see your skewed argument dancing embarrassingly unclad before you.
Atiku and Obi maintained that like the referee before consulting the VAR, Obj had a wrong opinion or perception about Atiku, but with time and things in perspective (only heavens know what informed the change), Obj disabused his mind of previous prejudices held against Atiku.

Lol. Majority of their answers were dumb metaphor and attack on the present regime.

Can you imagine using a referee var to answer question on poor reference from a previous employer? What a dumbo.
Yes I can. You lots have a penchant for quoting people out of context. The analogy made by Obi was as to forming and maintaining opinions.

For me no better logic. A former employer holds an opinion of one, with things in proper perspective, he purges himself of that opinion. Obi simply likened that to a referee holding an opinion and with clearer view of events, discountenance such wrong opinion.

You have a better way to go around that question, let's heat you?
