You are welcome to checking all previous posts of mine. I am not a supporter of Buhari, neither will I be as for me he has not handled Nigeria as he should have. The rising cost of living, nepotism in his cabinet appointment, etc; are all pointers to the fact that his leadership style is archaic and not suitable for a mult-ethnic cum mult-religious State as Nigeria. However let us face facts, you don't cut off your nose to spite your face. How can we instead of standing in unison to confront the hydra-headed monster of bad government and bad governance turn around to fight ourselves, cause untold hardship to ourselves.

It started with Edo, protesters releasing 2000 criminals back into society? That was one taken too far. I've heard some argue that government did that; and I ask, "what were protesters doing around the prison gate? Prison gate na government house?." I stay in Benin, Sapele road precisely. I can tell you the fear and tension in the air. Why burn down police stations, why destroy the roads by setting burn fires on them? What sort of foolishness is this? Armed Robbers have taken over Benin as I learnt from a lady friend of mine that there was robbery incident at Erediauwa in Ekenwan. Ladies are being raped. There is complete breakdown of law and order. Do we really think we can survive in such society? Not all of us are riff-raffs and should learn to stay on issues.

I can tell you now that the government is overwhelmed. Not less than 10 police stations have been burnt around the country, how do we cope with the insecurity that will follow. No matter how bad the police is or were, we still could sleep with one eye open. Now sleep has been taken away completely atleast for those of us here in Benin.

I supported the protest earlier as many others, but it has taken a turn that many of us can no longer lend our support. A colleague of posted on our N.B.A platform that his vehicle was vandalized by these guys. It's all sad.

We have unleashed a monster (insecurity) down South, I wonder how we'll tackle it.

You aren't entirely correct. Things are not always in black and white. Point I'm making is, while we've lost our values as a people and leaders will always emerge from the people; our leaders must start somewhere. If you can't kill corruption, atleast work on restructuring and let's start from there. If you can't work on restructuring, then do something about the electoral system. As we go forward, things will take shape. Values will also change. The system will try to throw up the best.

You never talked about what Nigeria's security structure was like neither did you mention the per capita income of the average Nigerian at the time.

I didn't see real indices to show if Nigeria is better of at the moment. Of course global population is increasing and with the increase comes building of cities, followed by migration activities; but on a whole, are we any better right now?

Whether he's guilty or not, start a petition against him in the South West or the North and see it gather 1 million signatures in 24 hours.

The major point is that signing a petition is not a big deal, You guys shouldn't take a petition against El Rufai like you just made a huge invention that could save the world.

El Rufai not been found guilty of anything.

Reno and those 20,000 would only end up shoving that petition up their hairy asses.

The point is, EU is being called upon to investigate these allegations. Do you have anything against these allegations being investigated?

Jonathan's failure is this regard was critical to his removal from office. When Nigerians who had hitherto not experienced the spate of bombings that went on under Jonathan, they revolted using their votes.

In any case, El Rufai has made issues worse by his own statements. No other leader has shown open tribal bias. Imagine him saying international observers will return in body bags. Imagine the bigot saying any officer who kills a Fulani man takes a loan, which surely will be repaid. Nigerians at least those in South are not fools. Mention another leader that has done these.

In any case I haven't seen these persons make unguarded utterances in the way and manner El Rufai has done. Of these you've mentioned, name one that has threatened international observers. Wike has never said anyone who kills an Ikwerre man takes a loan.

I hope US/UK are smart enough to know that there more than 25,000 fooĺs in Nigeria. That a petition defending a corrupt politician is signed by 25,000 people doesn't mean it should be taken seriously.

It's simple, it pushes them to open up investigation into the allegations against Mr. El Rufai. Did he make the statements contained in the petition? Has he taken actions against the killings in Southern Kaduna? These are the questions that will be asked. EU isn't like Nigeria where there isn't due process. Due process here is actually investigating El Rufai and I stand by it.
