biko, what does MTN have to do with my brother?

Seriously, what would be the link between MTN in Nigeria and my brother in SA if he were harmed? Na MTN dey sponsor the attack? Or abi Na them talk say attack my brother?

Please stop being unreasonable.
Don't ask me silly questions. South Africans don't ask these questions before shutting down nigerian businesses so why ask me silly questions before shutting down a South African owned business.

Please stop calling for such ridiculous things
Ridiculous? I pray your brother should be the next person killed if he is in SA; so you understand that those killed and maimed are people's brothers, parents, families.

Securing your job while our brothers are thrown out of job and killed there is selfish. Quit being selfish.

The mere fact they even bothered issuing threats is enough to push them out. Not making sacrifices to earn our Nation some respect is worse of.

do we have country that can sanction other country?
What exactly is your point? The fact that we cannot sanction other nationalities doesn't mean persons of a particular ethnic group in Nigeria should continue disgracing this country by calling the cry against xenophobia hypocritic. For all I care it is these persons that travel most and their immediate families are victims of this attack, but when we cry out; they say we are hypocritic.

In any case; shutting down MTN is a sanction we can issue, don't you think?
PoliticsRe: APC Zoning: Ndigbo Not Worried On Being Left Out, Says Ezeife by mcquin(m): 12:10pm On Apr 21, 2015
No mind Igbos. If them no fit elect 1 reasonable governor, why give them any reasonable appointment at all? They don't need it and don't deserve it.

Till they learn to vote out the Orji(s) and vote in competent persons, they do not deserve political representation.
PoliticsShut Down Mtn Now!!! by mcquin(op): 11:47am On Apr 21, 2015
It hurts me terribly that I have no powers to take decisions but if anyone having sufficient powers to influence policies, such a person should call for immediate closure of MTN regardless of its consequences.

The pride of Nigeria is at stake and if we turn a blind eye to the deaths of our brothers because we fear of increased unemployment, then this will continue with impunity and who knows Ghana might be next killing and maiming Nigerians.

I read the threats issued by MTN and i'm like WTF? Who does that? Can the US or the UK be issued such threats?

For those calling the call against xenophobic attacks hypocrisy, una de cr.aze; read my lips I said cra.ze. You can't because you and your brother do have fights and quarrel allow another person beat and kill your brother. I wonder how some persons reason. Every country having diverse ethnicity will always have internal rancour. In America the Whites and Black's do have conflict, but the day South Africa will carry out an attack against a Black American, the Whites in America will raise their voices against such attack regardless their disputes. The question remains can you allow another person kill your brother simply because you both have quarrels?

SHUT DOWN MTN.
PoliticsRe: Why Do Nigerians Think That Nigeria Is A Rich Country? by mcquin(m): 11:07am On Apr 21, 2015
Sweetguy25:
Hate it or love it, Nigeria is a dirt poor country when we compare ourselves with more advanced countries. Yes, the money we spend on running government should be reduced but even that, we are still poor. Heck, even if we stop financial corruption in Nigeria, we will still not be rich enough to cater for the needs of 170 million people.
I know igbos when they talk, they always downplay the role of corruption in our present predicament. Guy abeg face front.

PoliticsRe: Why Do Nigerians Think That Nigeria Is A Rich Country? by mcquin(m): 9:03pm On Apr 20, 2015
A country that spends so much in running government isn't poor. Govt only needs to cut down on its expenditure, put adequate facilities in place and maintain it. That is all we need to grow.

Lest I forgot, corruption should attract death sentence. I know pro-jona won't like this as they already begging for Ibori's release. They will come here and say everyone is corrupt, so we should fold our hands.

Usual chest beating. How come Lagos didn't go in flames after Ambode's loss, how come it didn't go in flames after deporting you lots from Lagos? Stop this bragging cos people no longer take you serious with your ultimatums.

Meanwhile Ojukwu ran away to Abidjan leaving 3million of your grand fathers to die. I wonder if it is Peter Obi that will lead you guys this time.

If you don't know the West in this contest refers to European allies, then it is not my business.

Truth is I love and rep naija to the fullest but SS and SE need to respect and appreciate others. If you look at the yoruba's well, they are well admired by many cos of their diplomacy and level of reasoning. They can criticize their leaders but when our leaders go wrong we still support them just because they are our brothers, it is wrong.

Igbos going to Lagos to also claim it is condemnable. Ofcos we are all nigerians but if they cannot accept that in their land, then they shouldn't do it.
That said it is apalling to see people supporting Jonah after his many sins.

Have u seen Nigerian military and SS men exchange bullets back then in the creeks?? after that day, military men took d fight to the towns and villages killing DEFENSELESS OLD MEN AND WOMEN AND GOATS AND LIZARDS, etc...haaaaaa...Do u think if these old men had weapons, ur military men would have been able to do anything??

KILLING DEFENSELESS PEOPLE ISN'T STRENGTH BUT WEAKNESS....Go ask the U.S military... they will tell u...U only shoot at those who shoot at you...and if u fail to defeat them, u bow in shame...Now imagine d militant having d number d military has...Den we won't have a military again...

Unfortunately we ain't thanking God cos you lots are too loud and oil is dropping.

Guy get sense, people will always buy cocoa and any product once you decide to sell. The last time I checked, chocolate industry make use of cocoa.
Cocoa isn't even the only resource in other parts of Nigeria; or will you also say Steel is no longer relevant in today's market?

If you be SS and Igbo, na for your pocket, after all na tribe. Again most SS will distinct themselve from Igbos except when they need the "population strength" of Igbos.
