Nigerians are indeed waking up. And if you open your mouth to ask if journalist aren't supposed to be neutral, remember to ask if: They are not Nigerians? They don't feel the pain we feel? They don't pay taxes? They are not affected by subsidy removal? They are not affected by insecurity? Lack of power? And ultimately if they don't what about their families? Won't they for the sake of their families desire CHANGE? |
Hehehe...following closely like a zombie. By the way i've been wondering why Jonathan did not postpone 2011 elections. Abeg PDP warriors answer me make I no swear ogun. Now do Jona think postponing the election will change our minds? |
vjsmiles:With media now every where, how will Sambo face Southern Christians? Will he say otherwise when he comes down south? Dude is tactless!!! |
2face...that ring dou!!! Eyes have not seen. Baba is made of black. |
Read through various comments and was disapointed. Why will the Igbos/Ijaws come out to cry that "Northerners are forcing them to stay." No one is forcing Ijaws not to drink their oil or to continue in Nigeria; but don't threaten the rest of Nigeria with war. We have too many problems already and we don't want threats being thrown at us. That said, many keep saying Nigeria can't survive without oil. You lots (Igbos/Ijaws) say you want to drink or take your oil along; now when others( Yorubas/Hausa) say "ok you can have your oil", you turn around and start taunting us with "you cannot survive without ND oil?" who said we can't survive. And it is better we die of hunger than allow GEJ continue ruling us. People are dieing in the North already. GEJ must go. Mo cop se tang? |
For those calling out Oshiomole, saying he didn't work; i'd admit he failed in his second tenure but performed in his state as I reside in Edo. But if you compare Oshiomole to Lucky Igbinedion the last ELECTED governor, then you are high on cheap drugs. That said Oshiomole created jobs but even if he didn't, he never scammed and killed the youths of the state. |
Sermwell:In essence what are you saying? Pls no insult, its a simple question;answer constructively with regards to your assertion that the other guy should keep dreaming when he said Nigerians will monitor the election. |
Collynzo9:Story for the gods. Those guys walk to lakes and carnal to fetch water themselves. Is it the fertilisers that bureaucracy has made difficult for the farmers to access? That fertilisers politicians divert funds over? Pls say something else. Atleast you'd agree you eat cow meat, beans etcetera! |
sleekp1:You call actual claims rubbish. Pls I want to see your replies to the rubbish below: What did Jonathan do with the good will he enjoyed 6 yrs ago that he is now almost crawling begging for votes? How come so many persons are now against him? |
sleekp1:So you had to go through the stress of cancelling what I racked my head to write and didn't give a reasonable answer at the end? Pls next time when you see a superior argument that you can't counter, instead of insulting the person trying so hard to educate and influence your thought process; do not just mention the person. If you are to mention, then talk sense. This is not a place for insults but exchange of constructive reasoning. |
sleekp1:How stupid you are. You left out the core of the matter about hoisting a Biafran flag and started talking on pheripherals. Well when you start rearing the cattle you use for meat, come back and tell me you are no parasite feeding from the north. |
sleekp1:Guy you get sense at all? You made remarks about Arewa,S.W future looking bleak, bla bla bla and I came out to disabuse your mind of any reasoning that i'm yoruba; now you are out again like dog on the loose. Where i'm from is non-contentious whether or not you believe it is not my problem so why bring it up 1st and emphasize on it. If you want to get proper detail, atleast my facebook I.D bears the above personal detail of mine already stated. Like I said earlier, you can drink your oil, secede or what ever but don't come on a Nigerian blog and suffocate us with it. |
Truckpusher:Niccur i've got a phobia for long posts but I did oblige you and read a little of your write-up. 1stly don't act like you don't care about my ethnicity cos you were 1st to bring in the tribal Arewa slave-master bla bla bla cliché into this argument. Now to the cross of the matter; whether or not Northerners ruled 100yrs or opposed True Federalism isn't relevant; what is of relevance is Jonathan our supposed brother not performing. If he was, there wouldn't have been room for northerners to castigate him. You remember the 2011 elections and the support and sympathy Jonathan garnered, how come he lost all that good will in 6yrs. Was it a northerner that asked him to support corruption tacitly? For the records, we(southerners supporting GMB) never wanted him but where Jonathan that we once support shows he's a complete failure, then I guess he should be left for those in the SS and maybe Igbos to support. Finally I hate the secession chorus. A right thinker acts more and talk less. |
sleekp1:Seriously? So you going to sit back and see? Do the needful; hoist a Biafran flag in front of your house before going to Kano to see how much pple till the soil inspite of the harsh weather conditions; using irrigation just to ensure they feed Nigerians. Nkpon nibot! |
Truckpusher:No let me curse you o. You keep waiting and threatening us at the same time. No threat we are saying "NO" to Jonathan. Get out of Naija if you want. I wonder whether the ove 193 countries of the world survive on oil. "We go secede, we go secede people" mtweee. Abeg if you no get any more threat, allow me think of how to fend for my family in these hard critical times that Jonathan has led the country to. |
sleekp1:Can you guys just leave already? Oil is now 53 dollars per parrel. Can you guys just create space for one to think for once. You lots are choking us with Jonathan and secession for good heaven's sake. At a point China closed it's shores to the world and started from the scratch, Nigeria should start over esp without natural resources but human resources. For your info I am Macqueen Richard Ansa from Ikot Ansa, Calabar Municipality, Calabar. So your Arewa or bla bla bla slave-master line should be revisited niccur! |
Truckpusher:Hello..the young man's statement was made pursuant to your analogy about your leaving Nigeria for Biafra. How come you never responded to that again but went about the stale lines-"parasites?" Since Nigeria's Army is in disarray, why not leave Nigeria in peace and form the Biafra now? We are tired of the secession story everyday. |
BlackTechnology:If power must go round, must it be given to a dunce because we want to abide by Federal Character? Oil price is now 53 dollar by parrel so SS can swallow it's oil. Because we wan compensate una, we must suffer of cluelessness. I am Efik and I would be glad to see a Donald Duke or Akpabio as President, so why Jonathan? |
emmykk:What exactly do you mean by PDP has the yam and the knife. Silly statements like this give the impression that rigging is part of PDP's plan. Don't forget if you are ghon say PDP has more states, remember APC has Lagos,Kano and Portharcourt. |
mazzi:How can you say our country is struggling to recover from short falls in oil price, yet the ruling party 'dashed' 21 billion to the President, while he is also busy with paying in millions for another aircraft not necessary. Why do you prefer to suffer while your boss squanders the little you should be given? |
FP plsssss. Mods i'm on my Knees begging. Recently came to Kano; must say the city is indeed lovely. #Kwakwansiya! #APC. God bless you for being a worthy opposition. |
kendrick9:The other day you complained about he campaigning in just Lagos state, now it is South West, if he goes to Imo tomorrow, it will be, "why just APC state?" gawdd! |
Rijes:My brother you still getting it wrong. Okay check the percormance of these APC and PDP governors and you'll realize that that of the APC dwarfs PDP. The only PDP governor performing appears to be Akpabio. But I don't have to tell you, go online and see the performance of APC governors. If GEJ had stolen everything and performed, no one will complain. That was what Ghadaffi did. He was a good leader even though he was power drunk. |
Rijes:The last time I checked the persons at the hem of affairs of the party were never decampees. Every party needs numbers and the decampees only make the number. Now the way you go about the decampees makes it seem there ain't persons in the part other than decampees? People no they also decamp go PDP? So long as it is a rival party, it is good enough for our democracy. Were you not thought that a one party system isn't healthy for any country? |
Rijes:My brother if the head is good, the body will follow suit. You can't have a bad leader that accommodates corruption at the helm of affairs and expect others to fall in line. We need to change our style of play. You can't keep trying PDP for 15yrs and expect something different. |
liberty300:What concerns his marital life and debunking his claims of GEJ's performance? If he isn't correct about GEJ scoring F9 is security, prove it and leave his family out. |
anonimi:Why should PDP led Executive get involved in these issues in the first place? Do they forbid to do the right think since they want us to put them back there? |
Mods front page abeg! I join those when discredit APC for not joining as a part but I started seeing reasons when GEJ didn't consider the issue of referendum. |
pendy79:#So true. They keep saying, "it is our turn"(to ruin Nigeria). |
WhiteTechnology:Bros no vex but is it because of lack of true Federalism, Jonathan feeds on over a billion naira and travels with billions of naira? Is that the reason 20billion dollar is missing? Fight corruption b4 u discuss true Federalism. |
They asked for manifesto; they got it, now they are complaining. You recover a lost soul, jst let them be. I'm really impressed especially the reducing of salaries of public officials, canvassing for removal of immunity of public officers and disclosure of any project above 100million naira. That would be great. Only then will we rise beyond the mockery we've made of ourselves in the eyes of Ghan and S.A especially. |
