State nomination is 5 points. Regional nomination changed from 10 to 15points.
Wonderful. Better like that. Let's populate the regional areas.

That will.even be 15points for regional nomination. Hope they wont increase that minimum point from 65 is the prayer. It seems too good to be real grin
I am telling you, this is just too good. They might not increase the points from 65. We just pray.

Even the regionals we talking about are as clean as the cities. So moving there for me isn't a problem at all. Anywhere they want me to move to, I am ready to go. They all enjoy the same basic amenities, and house rent is even cheaper in regional, so it's a win win something.

topacs:
Hmmm, Expect them to increase the minimum point above 65.
Of course , points will increase but will still favour singles. The point based will now be like :

Age: 30 points

Qualification: 15 points

English test: 20 points ( superior)

Marital status (Single): 10 points

State nomination: 10 points

Total points: 85

This is interesting.

But a married person can simply lie to be single. How possibly would this be checkmated? Just wondering if it is as simple as it seems
Finally, we the single gangs now have equal playing field as married folks.

Every year policies change and it's going to favour us and not against us for people like us that are yet to move.

If only our credit system was working, artists like these won't have to pay 100% for the cost of a car. They just pay maybe 30% and get the car.

Meanwhile, if you need a job, try sharing your CV on social media. It works. See my signature
Na so! Pay 30% and get the car cuz na him papa dey produce free cars wey them dey get 30%.

That's still a complete dept cuz you will still pay in installment the full money. If you are unable to meet up with the payment, the lender will take over any of your property worth the cost of the car.

I will rather opt in for house mortgage than take loan to buy car that depreciate in value.

He is a 2 star senior Police officer judging from the stars seen on his wear.

2 Stars with stripes (Red&Blue) is Sub Inspector of State police cadre or CAPF, While 2 stars without stripes (Plain 2 stars) are IPS officers DSP/ACP/ASP under training.

Hehehehe far from that. 4k to 6k is just one faculty. Only faculty of engineering hold 5000 students. We haven't mentioned faculty of education that comprises different departments. Each department having students from all levels 100 level to 400 levels.

At mcslize I actually applied to over 100 jobs before I got the casual one and attended lots of interviews.
I see! At least it all paid off. That's the most important news. Enjoy yourself and make sure you treat yourself out on some tasteful delicacies and lovely time out whenever you are off work. You need it.

Hello guys, don't come online and just look. We are all looking forward to all of your experiences for those that passed through this thread to relocate. Share your experience. I will pull up the roll calling list. On the list, we have up to 40 persons. Where are they?

Give back to the thread. This will help keep the thread moving. No experience is too small to share. Just share whatever you think is your experience for the period you've been there. It's going to spice up the thread.

The purpose of this thread again is it not about life in Australia? So why are we not sharing our experience all these years. There are those that have been there for 2years, 1 year, 11, 10, 9 and so on. You want to tell me that you've not gathered any experience to share with us? Ah ah, brother, sister no be so na.

Carve out time to share experience as a way of giving back to the legacy bellong has created.

He is really trying answering questions on the other thread. That's someone that relocated 4-5years back still keeping up with the thread. Let's support him by answering questions of newbies in the other thread ,the ones we can answer, and also share our experience here.

In all, stay cool, be a good PR and explore to the fullest the fruits of the land.

ozonechrome wow that's such a wonderful testimony. You applied for just 1 job in LinkedIn and you got it. Just imagined applying for multiple of jobs, I believe you won't be able to attend the loads of interviews that will be coming your way due to your daughter.

I am glad that you were able to push through along with your daughter. That's one of the challenges that mums face, but thank God it all ended in praise.

What could have made your centerlink take so long to be sorted out. I was thinking ,immediately you land, that's one of the first things that is being done within first week of landing. You really need to sort that out as soon as possible.

As for your baby's childcare, is there no way to subsidize it by the government being a PR? That AU$500 per week is really high. You were able to pay all of that from a casual job along with your house rent, that tells me , wage is really high in Australia. Australia is really a land of opportunities for anyone that push through.

I am happy that you went, overcame and conquered. Now , you will long back and smile.

It was in those days true love exists. What we see today is selfishness. People with selfish minds making use of every means to milk the other, all in the name of being in a relationship.

Love does exist but it's not up to 5%, making it very rare to find.

I was also taken aback at his quotes on expenses. People like to make others believe that things are very cheap where they live but in most cases, it's not reality. Wish you all more success . Auzzyland here I come cheesy
This reply isn't the right way to reply someone. The person came out to contribute to the thread using his/her own experience.

To me this is too harsh. It kinda seems like you had issue with the person before. Let's try and be soft with one another even if you have a different view against what another person post. This way, others will readily come out to share their personal expedience.

extraterestrial , thanks for giving back to this thread. Such an exciting gist!

The thread has been quite dull these days. Maybe that's because people are all busy, so to say, with one thing or the other. but irrespective of that, everyone who is already in Aussie needs to find out time to give back to the thread to keep it alive. The last time I checked the role calling list, I found not less than 50 persons that had migrated through this thread.

People do come online but we hardly see new gists here, making the thread looks so quiet and dull. We need more gists like this.

People need to share more experiences in a way of giving back to the thread for intending arrivals and for future PR applicants.

In all, thanks for the exciting gist. It was lovely reading through.

How about the option of construction project management
That's a good option. You are lucky. Many states are nominating it for visa 190. Northern Territory is nominating it for visa 489. Also apply for that Northern territory.

Just read the requirements of each of the states and kickstart the process as soon as possible.
