Bello321: Thanks a lot...but do you think it would be ok...to state that didnt meet the requirement. Without mentioning the accreditation stuff. You can go ahead to explain that. Shebi it's not your fault that the school didn't meet accreditation requirements at the time, if that's what you are afraid of. |

Bello321: HELLO HOUSE PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP.
I have a masters degree in petroleum engineering from a university in England. Few months back i applied for a work visa to New-Zealand,however, i was rejected because my MSc degree wasnt ACCREDITED at the time and still isnt.
Now, I am currently applying for PR and I am being asked if I have been denied a visa before and ofcourse i have to indicate YES. But should i go further and explain that i was rejected because my course was not ACCREDITED by the Engineering Council Uk. (since ACCREDITATION is not stated as a requirement for PR).or just state that i didnt meet the requirements. PLEASE HELP... You need to state in detail why you were denied the visa. Besides, Canada doesn't check the pedigree of universities or courses of study with respect to EE. What your ECA report states regarding your educational qualification is all that matters to them |

Jolao: Hello Beautiful people, I have a question as regards POF, we've been saving up in Hubby's account for POF which we eventually used 70% in buying Treasury Bill in January to be due in June, we thought he was going to be the primary Applicant but I ended up scoring higher in IELTS so I'm now the PA. My WES will be ready in a week which means ITA is closer than we expected.
-Can I use the fund in treasury bill in Hubby's name as POF supported with a letter from him? Yes you can Or should I wait towards the end of the Treasury bill's due date before entering the pool. If I later find out that you didn't enter the pool as soon as your ECA report lands, I'll call the police and have you arrested And we are still gathering the remaining 30% 30% is meagre . You have the next 3 months to gather those, so no problems Thank you all as you respond with your church mind. See responses above |

timojerry: . Thank you very much. I plan to invest the whole POF. I have my IELTS and should be processing Wes very soon. I did a rough calculation and i got 469. Are you saying as it is now I could enter the pool. What if I get an ITA like next month?. Won't my POF be an issue as it would be a month's investment. I was thinking they needed to see that you have the money with you for six months? I'm kinda confused here please.
Apologies for my questions. Based on the foregoing, you haven't met the minimum "swimming" requirements. You have an admirable (projected) CRS score but you need to complete your ECA before you get in the pool |

sleekchic: LMAO a thousand hugs to you mcstan18 and happytbaby and ysteph.
Honestly,i now understand what people mean when they say people shouldnt come for them that they are not 'feeling fine'. It is actually possible to read some comments and become emotionally drained. This is a faceless forum true, but with words you can break or build, with or without seeing the person. I have read all that has been said about not asking for PM's contact, and i will tell my cousin to keep praying. Its all good, we live and we learn.
PS:@Mcstan18, if you are single i can hook you up with my hawt younger sister, but she lives in the states so maybe when you relocate then you guys can 'see how it goes' I will collect my own hugs on Saturday, others can make do with the e-version but be sure that I'll audit the completeness
I'm (very) single too |

timojerry: Good morning peeps,
Thank you for creating this thread. I just have some few questions to ask. Please don't mind me if these questions have been answered in previous threads. I'm a newbie. Okay. We won't mind
I just got my money transferred to me now for a family of four. I intend to buy Treasury bills with it so I could use the interest to sort out some other issues. For how long do I keep the money with the govt. Should it be for six months. Would I need to also present my account statement when submitting my documents or is the Treasury bill Certificate okay . The decision of how long to invest solely resides with you. However, for some banks, the longer the higher the rate. If your investment has 100% of your PoF, then I suppose the investment certificates would suffice. If not, you'd have to show where the remainder is domiciled. Perhaps a SoA if it's in a Bank account
Do I need to wait for the expiration of the Treasury bills before I enter the pool or I could enter the pool from after four months since I still have three months to submit my docs when invited Of course not! You should enter the pool as soon as you meet the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed. Even me sef, I don't have PoF complete yet
Thank you Mon plaisir See my thoughts above written with blue biro |

Loffloff: Please abeg seniors make una help me o.... I filled I have a sibling in Canada, got ITA and now my sibling sent a sworn declaration of age without including any of our parents names. She doesn't have a birth certificate from NPC. Please how can I go about this? Will cic accept this? How else can I back this up? Or should I jejelly go back into the pool? I have already accepted the Ita and started filling the forms already.. Please kindly advise Before you jump at declining, why not see what the situation would look like if you do not claim points for a PR sibling? Besides, she must've included your parents' names in her application when she was at it, so I'd think that the burden of proof now shifts to you. If you have your birth certificate that bears your parents' names, parents' documents that lists their children (it is expected that both of you would be included, except... ), pictures that you both appear in (even better if your parents feature in them). It's not like these are out rightly sufficient requirements, I'm only rendering my thought on the matter. God's grace in the struggle but don't decline yet o |
