NG2CA: Taking TEF isn't as easy as it seems. It took me more than 2 years of study to get to where I am.
This isn't an attempt to dissuade you from trying. Who knows if you can ace it in a shorter time.
Conversely, I think 490 and above is a fantastic score. Getting an ITA with it is only a matter of when, not if |

Goodnew13: Hello @Maplechick and other gurus in the house, please help.
So, I have been able to pay for WES, and now need to request and send my credentials. I learned it can be fast if I used ETX.NG so I contacted them, and here is what I was told. Please advise:
1. That I would need to pay N57,650 for each transcript (ND, HND, PGD) = N172,950 2. Once the credentials get to WES (even through ETX.NG), WES would still send mail to my school for second-level verification, now I think this is where schools ask for money again before responding to WES. Is this correct? 3. Now, calculating this together, it will be about N200,000 + $250CAD paid to WES = ~N320,000
Please what can I do? Who had gotten transcripts from Open University to WES before, how was the experience? Who had sent transcripts from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic to WES before, how long did it take you in total?
NB, if I am to try to get the credentials myself, it will cost, ~N70,000 for MAPOLY (ND + HND + courier + email verification), and N25,000 for NOUN, given ~N100,000, but I am kind of feeling somehow about the timeline it might take for the credentials to get to WES eventually.
Please advise.
Thank you. I'd advice you to evaluate your ND & HND. Those will give you "two or more certificates". Don't stress yourself with the NOUN thing.
The choice is still yours |

Congratulations to all those who have their IELTS, ITA, PPR and/or CoPR. As a side note...I would suggest that we desist from making "NOC tweaking" related posts henceforth. If possible, let's try to edit or delete the existing ones. I'm sure we do not want any IRCC official or some overzealous VO to stumble upon the thread, only to have the wrong perception that Nigerians "work" their way around presenting doctored JDs that's appealing to their HR for signing, rather than the HR doing so independently to reflect the actual role(s) such persons handled while in employment.
People may send PMs to anyone they need their assistance in this regard and then come here to call their attention to the mail they sent. Let's not make these (CIC) guys extend our processing time any further. The existing timeline is already a cause for concern for those of us who are yet to get an ITA. |

Thanks einteino for the beautiful information you put up up there. You didn't just write to generalize, you actually did bring the points home by making specific references to your experience (while quoting real figures). That, to me is priceless. Shine on bro. |
