Even under the relative/sibling section? If so, its spouse sponsorship then.

Thing is they won't be considered as relatives in that instance, they'll be spouses. Then, the question relating to having a Canadian spouse being a citizen or PR automatically allots points as that of a single applicant once the answer is yes

Only God knows our fate!

If you get married after you land, you will sponsor her or she can follow the EE route too. She gets to earn point more because her spouse is in Canada already.

She won't get points for a Canadian PR spouse. I guess his best bet would be sponsorship since she would likely not have an MSc to support her NYSC experience with. I even suspect that draws might go higher then than they are now.

It's either they tie the knot now and have her added or just wait and do sponsorship.

Because if they put any date different from what is on the Test report form when uploading after ITA, that will be the misrepresentation they fear. so they should check their forms. if they don't have it, they should wait till they get to be on the safer side.

Reality is that this cannot be considered a case of misrepresentation. People make worse mistakes and update using the CSE web form. That said, it's important to do things the right way.

I wouldn't have added it because I didn't fill it in while creating my profile. All I did was add my years of work experience while claiming points with the NOC and details of my previous employer.

The business would go into my PERSONAL history after I've received ITA. I was wondering if I had to add docs like certificate of incorporation as well as an LOE

You should go to page 1 and read other people's account on how they treated this. You ought to know that whatever you move to personal history shouldn't have been used to claim points, therefore wouldn't require any proof, except for PCC in some cases

A very silent reader with a testimony; not PPR though.
I honestly want to thank God for his faithfulness in my family's life today.

My dear, there's nothing more I can say in addition but just to thank God for the life of your family. The destroyer came to steal but he found nothing in you. The Lord will hear and answer the deepest prayers of your heart

Still on this issue my people, my friend said her hubby already filled 8th November as trf test date for 27th October MOD test before she asked me which I relayed here and I got the right response.

She has gone to effect the change to 7th November. She wants to find out;
1. Will this affect her transmitted application prior to ITA?
2. If yes can she withdraw her application now and fill in another one as she is sure of getting ITA?
3. What is the effect of revoking Gsckey account? Because she and her hubby are accusing themselves of taking actions that might lead to misrepresentation. There’s Cold War between them as each is saying they won’t forgive the other if his/her actions cause them to stay in Naija for another 5yrs due to ban.
Make una help with advice so this Cold War can be put off.

This their fear is too much o. There's no cause for alarm yet. Since ITA hasn't arrived, they can change the details in their profile as many times as possible without being penalized. Tell them to change the date to the correct one and gently await their ITA. Change log is only generated for changes made after ITA is received.

Give them your highest assurances that all is well. I don't want to hear that there's still a cold battle in that house. God bless them both for this their level of commitment to a common cause.

I did the same a few days ago. If I wanna assume, I'll say that they dont evaluate it as professional cos if they did they'll say it to make u use them and since they dont they wont wanna say it so that they dont lose the money u will use to find out.

No they won't tell you even if it's evaluated as a professional certificate. The guys who respond to inquiries are different from evaluators and are not permitted to give out such information.

I think I am now ready to embark on the journey. Planning to start ECA process with WES this December and will write IELTS in January, though spouse intends writing his in February. And I know that all will end in praise in Jesus' Name.

If you don't mind me asking, why WES? You can save yourself more time and money by avoiding them. If you have a strong reason though, you may still go ahead.

First off, I am girl. Lol

The interview was extremely difficult. I plan to write in detail about it cos I don’t think we have a wealth of information on interviews here. (But I can see why we don’t. It was harrowing and I don’t really want to discuss it in detail- at least till my PPR comes). Major issue identified was that she didn’t believe I had actually worked as a psychologist during my NYSC, she said I could have been a receptionist. Regardless of my BSc and MSc in Psychology from two goo Unis in the U.K., my reference letter and bank statements showing salary payments. I sha tried to convince her.

If Ralph said all my assessments were passed, do I still have something to worry about?

Sorry about the broken gender radar. We'd be glad to have that interview record here. In fact, we can't wait to have your PPR announcement.

If Ralph has said so, there's really nothing to worry about them. It's very normal for this kind of anxiety to well up. Yours is already very unique as it is. Your good news isn't far away anymore

Dear all,

I don’t know if anyone here remembers me (took a break from Nairaland).

I am now 10 months post AOR. Had my interview in Accra middle of September. In early October, Ralph’s office informed me that all my assessments had been passed.

Today, I got an email from Accra stating that my file was awaiting final review and I should expect to hear back from them early next year.

Please someone on this thread, let God use you to help me and tell me what to do to get my PPR way sooner so that I can come and testify.

Patiently waiting for helpful tips (I’ve ordered 2 GCMS and I send about 2 emails a day to the Accra office). Thank you.

We remember Skywalk of yestermonths. It's really sad how these guys decide to abandon people's cases without properly carrying them along after the "normal" 6 months processing window. First off, how did the interview go? Were there any significant issues identified?

Personally, I think there are no major problems since your application wasn't rejected during the interviews or shortly afterwards. I'd also like you to keep faith that the PPR would come even before the January date given. It is well with you brother.

If I may ask, what's the essence of evaluating SSCE? Is it to know if you attended secondary school or for something else? What's the evaluation outcome for SSCE

Yes, that's it. It was earlier misconstrued as being for age consistency verification

Congratulations to all PPR recipients. Go and prosper. I look forward to the day mine will land.

Seems IRCC has forgotten me. 10 months post AOR. My 3rd set of GCMS notes arrived. Eligibility and Security not yet started.

Notes almost exactly same as 1st note ordered in April. Only difference was movement from London to Kyiv.

Thank you to everyone that sends encouraging words to me.

I can imagine the frustration upon seeing the report in the GCMS notes. You're in my prayers.

You should've requested that your speaking test be scheduled for the same day. It's doable because I did so on my second attempt. I pray that this be your last attempt

Thanks bro. I'm looking for a way he can include her in his application at the moment, instead of the sponsor later route.

I think it's best he tweets at IRCC. But I must tell you that those responses are not always exactly as the VO would treat the matter but it should give him a guide on what to do. He should then work assiduously to present an inpeccable documentation to convince the VO on the legitimacy of his move.

In my opinion, I believe he should be able to have the boy/girl as a dependent, since the adopted is now orphaned and unable to fend for himself. I'd think that he might be required to legally adopt. It'll be nice if you keep us updated on this.
