Thanks a lot! Please can you or anyone else on this platform recommend the best IELTS & TEF classes in Lagos? Very much appreciated

Alliance Francaise, but it doesn't come cheap. You may check for a suitable location HERE

Sitting on this fence with you. It's coming down anyways, even though very slowly, its sha coming down. Meanwhile i'm a bit concerned about this TEER system that comes into effect on the 16th of November. i've read that it will favour some and not so much others. Please all the EE draw analysts, any idea when it will come below 500? I'm sitting in the 490's and wondering if it will get that low by some miracle this year

From rough estimation, it should go below 500 within the next 5-6 draws, albeit with the following assumptions:
- The frequency of draws remain consistent
- The number of ITAs issued continues to increase by at least the same rate
- There isn't an unusual surge in the number of provincial nominations (The entrance of Ontario and Alberta would likely cause a significant shift, since Sask and Manitoba appear to be the only active provinces in this regard at the moment)
- People desist from creating pseudo cic accounts.
- There isn't another disease outbreak that'll militate against immigration plans,

Keep believing!

Hello House, please I need advise my friend in Canada agreed that I should claim him as a family member to earn more point, I just want to ask for ideas how I can proof it to the immigration. What documents would I need.

Thanks

If you had gone through the thread from part 2 (at least from where I joined), you'd realize that we strongly condemn any such dubious acts that'll compromise the integrity of the process.

Your friend is not your brother and this will never change. No one here, as far as I know will help you cheat the system. Besides, you are exposing yourself to a possible lengthy ban when you eventually get caught. Even if it's after 20 years and 5 children, you (and your household) will be stripped of everything, removed from Canada and blacklisted.

This is what it reads on one of her personal websites:

Something was always suspicious to me about this lady the first time I encountered her. It was that desire to just collect your money. I'd steer clear of this person. They belong in the fake it till you make it gang.

She does claim to have received multiple awards and recognitions for her stellar works and results. Could those be made up too? I'm really interested in this exposé to help demystify a few things.

I see one of my former colleagues (at one of the consulting big 4 I worked with) as one of the "testifiers" in one of Eno's ads. i"m wondering if that is also arranged, given that she used her real name and can easily be verified. Perhaps there might be some truth in what she's selling, only that they may be grossly exaggerated.

Your (and other) thoughts are welcome

It isn't kindness that makes the system here work. It is the fear of the government. The fear of consequences that come when you fall on the wrong side of the law. The laws are designed to milk you dry with draconian fines if you offend and if you can't pay, or you're a serial repeat-offender, na prison straight. The government officials I've observed do not hate or love you, they feel your pain but are remorseless when it comes to punishing offenders. That's why the mantra here appears to be 'Ija wa, Ija osi... always guiding' which roughly translates to 'bro, err on the side of caution.'
Having said that, if you obey the law, nobody send you for here o! Just paro lo!!

Beautiful! Such an interesting read

I'm starting my canada immigration process with an Agency called Greenlight immigration. Please I want advice to know my chances. They said my best option is to immigrant to Canada via Work visa. Does anybody know about this agency and it they are to be trusted? And also how long does it take for everything to pull through? Please I need as much response as possible. Thanks

You only need one response, which you may not like.

Stay away from agents who come with beautiful promises of work visas. 9 out of 10 times, they're not really whom they say they are.

Greetings everyone,

I am new here and i am happy to be in the folk. its a pleasure guys.

Please i read here that we can send our certificates and transcripts to WES through Fax. But my question is

1. Nigeria is not in the list of countries for assigning fax numbers. Can i use another country other than Nigeria to open and operate my Fax mail?

2. I learnt WES will send the documents (certificates and transcripts) back to awarding institution for confirmation. Then, how would my awarding institution here in Nigeria get the documents back for confirmation, since i used Fax mail in sending it out.

3. Can my certificate be sent for evaluation to increase points of my spouse, as the Principal Applicant? Just as i would embark on a language test to help increase points of my spouse as the Principal Applicant

Please, can someone help me out. i need urgent clarifications from the house. Thanks everyone.

1. You do not need to use any of that. Visit https://www.hellofax.com/ and enjoy free faxing. Do note that the free version has its limits.

2. Read the links related to WES/ECA on page zero to have a better understanding on how ECA works.

3. Yes.

Bro I didn't get counterfoil mail, but I got mail that my decision envelope is on its way to VFS vac center, does it mean visa denial or what since I didn't get counterfoil mail?

You won't be denied a visa after getting PPR. If there's a concern with your application that may require further scrutiny, you would get a notification for that in your account.

Hello Gurus,

I just got served this sad letter after waiting for so long from sinp.

Is there anything i can do if i appeal for a second review?

I have tax documents verifying my work experience in naija.

Thanks

So sorry for the unfortunate situation.

Sadly, it appears nothing can be done to change this. The reason for the rejection is one that I've seen many people lose appeals for over the years. I'll advise you pick up the pieces and look elsewhere.

This isn't an attempt to dissuade you from trying. Who knows if you can ace it in a shorter time.

Conversely, I think 490 and above is a fantastic score. Getting an ITA with it is only a matter of when, not if

Hello @Maplechick and other gurus in the house, please help.

So, I have been able to pay for WES, and now need to request and send my credentials. I learned it can be fast if I used ETX.NG so I contacted them, and here is what I was told. Please advise:

1. That I would need to pay N57,650 for each transcript (ND, HND, PGD) = N172,950
2. Once the credentials get to WES (even through ETX.NG), WES would still send mail to my school for second-level verification, now I think this is where schools ask for money again before responding to WES. Is this correct?
3. Now, calculating this together, it will be about N200,000 + $250CAD paid to WES = ~N320,000 shocked

Please what can I do?
Who had gotten transcripts from Open University to WES before, how was the experience?
Who had sent transcripts from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic to WES before, how long did it take you in total?

NB, if I am to try to get the credentials myself, it will cost, ~N70,000 for MAPOLY (ND + HND + courier + email verification), and N25,000 for NOUN, given ~N100,000, but I am kind of feeling somehow about the timeline it might take for the credentials to get to WES eventually.

Please advise.

Thank you.

I'd advice you to evaluate your ND & HND. Those will give you "two or more certificates". Don't stress yourself with the NOUN thing.

The choice is still yours
