Where is you
Je m'appelle McStan18 He's right here prof. I'm sorry I've been quite unavailable lately. The many calls and messages today gave some bitter-sweet taste. I was already feeling like the ITA really did come. Newmum0615, threemg, Ifeoma77, jholarhade, ramj, na una get me last last. Anyway, I'm sure that we'd have even more reasons to celebrate in the coming weeks and months as ITA is just a few months away now.
It feels so good reading all the many testimonies within a short space of time. Congratulations to every sweet soul here and silent readers likewise that have one reason or the other to celebrate.

joyous2910: Good evening to my dear online family. Been a silent reader and have learnt a lot. God bless all the contributors. Please i have a situation and need advise from seniors here. Biko SOS I am post ITA but there is an issue with my medical. Had medicals done at IOM and found out i have Hep B during the medical exam and was refereed to see a Gastro for further consultation so as to obtain a medical report to submit back at the clinic before they will upload my medicals on CIC e-portal. Medicals for all other family members were uploaded and the clinic gave me information sheet print out for all of us. Getting the report has been hectic as the Doctor has been delaying the process and time is no longer on my side though still waiting as all the required tests had been done; waiting for result and report. My question is that can i go ahead and submit my e-apr pending the time i get the Gastro medical report since i already have required form to upload for the ITA? I have read on the thread about applicants with Hep B issue and eventually got PPR but haven't seen any with my exact scenarios.
Please help!!! If your expected submission time is almost up, you may go ahead with submission. If you have proof that you've done your medicals, attach it with the appointment letter for further medical tests. The panel physician will eventually upload the result when all is set. No issues. |

Iyamefa: It’s not even funny in the toronto. Jan/feb this year, temps went as low as -22. I wonder how those up north Canada survive tbh. Maybe Vancouver wouldn’t be as bad. Please o, do people still have their bath at such low temperatures? Sometime in January, my paddy in Calgary shared a -32 degrees screenshot with me and it literally froze me here in Nigeria.
Some people's teeth clatter vigorously during harmattan of 22 degrees here, how much more these numbers that are fit for building igloos. |

alwayspositive8: Please someone should assist me on this.... I tried filling the express entry for the first time and after filing the eligibility questionnaire.... it keep saying based on my answers that am not eligible.... Further drilling down shows that the error must have occurred when filling the work experience part... I have about 3years and 6 month experience but when I clicked 2-3 years as shown in the picture below it keeps giving the non eligibility error.. but if I changed to 4 yrs it will say am eligible....What can I do? .. I see a case of compensating deficiencies. You do not necessarily need to have 4 years of experience to be eligible. Check to ensure that you have high enough language scores and see how many eligibility points it gives you when combined with your educational qualification and age. Your answer may likely lie there.
People have passed eligibility with just one year of work experience but with higher educational qualification and language scores. |

Barryston: Thank you mcstan..I do appreciate it...I will do as adviced but I'm now married to another person and do I still maintain this line of your answer?or they might ask for proof that previous marriage has been dissolved?anyways I already put YES...i will have to do a detailed LOE It's no big deal. Answer remains yes, marital status married, LoE still necessary. Pretty straightforward. All the best bro. |

Enitan007: The commencement date and end date will be asked while completing the form, if he chose yes to that question. I did same for my spouse and selected common law relationship and no document was asked to be uploaded. I didn't even include it in LOE. Though I just submitted my app, I hope and pray no additional document is required. Cool then. He already has the answer he seeks. Trust your application is going well. |

Barryston: Please elders or anybody with similar situation should come to my rescue.
I have started filling my application but I saw a place "Have you been previously married or in a common law partnership or relationship" The thing is I applied for US visa in 2015 which i stated I was my married to my then fiancee...we have dated for 6years at the time and we have done our aqd nikkah in fact she was already living with me at the time....I was refused the visa...and after some months we broke up because of some irreconcilable issues.
My question is that in that application I put married because I never knew we wil ever breakup...now I don't know if I should put No or Yes in the column because I don't know if I will be asked for further docs which I do not have...
Thanks and God bless! Hi. In my opinion, I believe you should answer yes to that question, reason being that you were only married customarily or traditionally. However, you have to explain in a detailed LoE why you are applying as a single applicant. You should state the period you were both together, the date of the nikkah and the date you went your separate ways. Make it known in your LoE that a legal separation document (like divorce papers) wasn't necessary at the time since the marriage wasn't registered in any court and wasn't legally binding.
If you make your LoE as detailed, truthful and consistent as it can be, I do not think that any VO would penalize you. Just ensure there are no broken links between what you filled in your US Visa application form and what you'd be filling here. |

cocococo: ...But the time you reach there with all the funds you are taking into Canada, you have pumped so much money that you cannot generate and send back into your own country Nigeria from where the funds came out from, thus depleting our country of resources. That won't be our lot. Many have moved to Canada and are successful. Some more financially successful than they were in Nigeria |
