Hi guys please when I was applying for my student visa I used a different work experience from what am about to use on my resume for my express entry application. Do u guys think it will be a problem?

There'll certainly be a mismatch and that'll trigger some additional scrutiny on your application. If their fears are confirmed, you'd likely receive a ban for misleading a VO. That is, misrepresentation.

The onus is on you to ensure consistency in your disclosures. I won't advise that you tell a lie at this stage, it's too dangerous.

Dear all. Good evening. I sincerely hope I'd get a response on this issue bordering me. I intend to start my application for this scheme. I believe I have 98% chances of securing it by THE GRACE OF GOD. but one major issue that scares me is the fund. Though I'm working, I don't have up to the required amount they stated for the proof of funds stuff..... 12000 Canadian dollars. Almost 5million naira if I'm not mistaken.

I can afford to raise up to 2.5mil if I pull all my cards. Can anyone advice me sincerely how to go about this?

With all the moneybag you're carrying? Just kidding.

Search amongst your close and distant relatives, there should be someone who'd be interested in funding this dream. That's just one way. Think and dig deep

Please could someone help... WES sent a request both electronically and by post to ICAN for them to verify my ATS certificate... ICAN said that WES often times don't receive mails from them which means they won't do electronic verification... But that they have received the other one they sent by Post and they will reply them by post...I called there office last week they said they have sent the verification confirmation by NIPOST which to me is not safe and don't even know when it will get there since it can't be tracked...

So the question is if possible I tell ICAN to do another verification for me.. can I collect it from then and send by courier myself, though verification is expected to originate from issuing institution.....ICAN had practically delayed my ECA by one month now....

Nigeria's love affair with WES is already strained by trust issues, so more often than not they've indicated that "...transcripts were not sent from the awarding institution..." in some people's profile for reasons I may not be privy to. A safer thing to do is follow up aggressively on the ICAN guys to do what they must. Pelee my dear.

I did apply for a visitors visa in 2014 with my family but then I withdrew it and called back my passport because I had to apply for UK student visa. I was only informed yesterday of the rejection letter because I was no longer in Nigeria when they rejected our application. I thought since I called back my application I was exempted from getting a decision on the visitors visa.

My issue now is I clicked that I had not applied previously for a visa to Canada in the preinvitation to apply form. Secondly I have already done biometrics.
And I was sent schedule A to fill. Now there I ticked yes to haven been refused visa to Canada previously.

Please how should I handle this. I'm tensed up.

Raise a CSE immediately and explain same way. A decision may not have been reached on your application so you can still salvage the situation.

Please helppppp. Anybody. Thank you.

Hello everyone, please oblige my questions.
1) Can a PGD from NOUN help me in getting extra points for Two or more certificates?
2) If i have a zero interest housing advance from my company which is deducted from source, can it be used to form part of my POF? I haven't taken it till i'm sure it wont have a negative impact.
Thank you

1. Yes
2. Your PoF should be unencumbered. The housing advance you mentioned sounds like an interest-free loan and all loans are encumbered funds.

Thank you all for this forum.
I just need clarification on these two issues.1) my wife was denied a US visa alongside her family 2years ago before we got married. When I asked her if they were given reasons for refusal she said NO,that her Family was given a pink form after the interview.I intend to state it during my application Post ITA(spousal refusal). The thing is do I need an LOE?I am guessing so..How should the LOE be constructed to make it detailed yet less complex? 2)For my POF,we have a deed of gift for funds transferred to our joint account from my father in-law.We intend to put it into treasury bills and present the TB certificate alongside deed of gift for POF.i know I should include 6months statement of this joint account but since it isn't my salary account will it be ok if I add 6month statement of my salary account? Will an LOE suffice to explain these accounts statements as well as the source of my POF?I will really want to limit LOEs for sake of complexity. Please advise.Thank you

1. You don't have to do an LoE for the rejection except the circumstances surrounding it isn't clear or if you need it to (as they say) help you sleep well.

2. No. You may not need the bank account statement and gift deed. Your T-Bills certificate should suffice. You can choose to go for the overkill by including them

The below seems to contradict that. A renewal will only be required where you visit for 6 months or more. If your assertion is correct then we should require a PCC for every country visited regardless of duration.

If one spends 6 months continuously at anytime in the last ten years and leaves, only to return and spend another time less than 6 months, then they have to obtain an updated PCC from that country. I think the screenshot would only apply if such a person never accumulated up to 6 months continuous stay.

It's better to err on the side of caution Sha. I'll do it that way if I were to be in that position. One can get outright rejection for PCC inconsistencies.

Bros...think of it like this...

There are people out there who may be helped with this question.

Don't just focus on the fact that my friend currently seats at 441.

There are people who need this information to scale up their scores.

So please...does anyone know if International IT certifications are evaluated as second post secondary certificate with any evaluation agency? Does it add points to your Express entry CRS score?

Thank you for your responses...

Okay sir, which of the international IT certs? If it's either CCNA, CCNP or JAVA, then No. If it's BTEC, then Yes.

Hello Everyone,

For anyone who recently upgraded their ECA with WES for APEGA certification, does one need to send secondary school results (WAEC) for this upgrade?

I doubt your WAEC would be needed for the upgrade, since your Nigerian certificate had been evaluated previously

Thank you for your response...his score with only BSc will be 441 but he is yet to get his ECA evaluation.

The question is about recognition of IT certificates as a 2nd post secondary diploma to earn more points to be assured of ITA.

Thank you for your focused responses.

He won't be needing that second certificate. He's already on 441 and that's sufficient to land him an ITA.

TEECANN:
Most times, the VO may not bother to levy your pensions balance where other funds submitted covers the POF required for the family size. Hence some people conclude that their pensions weren't used. That doesn't mean that the 25% pension account balance is not acceptable as a source of POF

Don't put yourself under any unnecessary stress of chasing what is not. Try to research these things and be guided appropriately.

It will end in praise IJN!

See bro, acceptance of RSA is dependent on the discretion of the Visa Officer. Sometimes they accept and other times they don't. You just have to pray they do in your case. I have seen instances where it was accepted. However, have back up funds just in case it is not accepted. Above all, ensure to check your profile (by either calling CIC or better still, requesting for your GCMS notes) to ascertain if this was accepted. This would help you proactively raise a CSE on updated POF to prevent your application from being rejected.

Good luck

We also need to understand that a VO's discretionary decision can be contested. PF is always legal and valid for use as PoF. I've had to advise some people to raise CSE's on this after having found out that theirs weren't included and all 3 returned positive. As I often say, one only needs to provide relevant persuasive evidence to prove your point, and they're home and dry
