TEECANN: Most times, the VO may not bother to levy your pensions balance where other funds submitted covers the POF required for the family size. Hence some people conclude that their pensions weren't used. That doesn't mean that the 25% pension account balance is not acceptable as a source of POF
Don't put yourself under any unnecessary stress of chasing what is not. Try to research these things and be guided appropriately.
It will end in praise IJN! Gbam!! |

raphrulz: See bro, acceptance of RSA is dependent on the discretion of the Visa Officer. Sometimes they accept and other times they don't. You just have to pray they do in your case. I have seen instances where it was accepted. However, have back up funds just in case it is not accepted. Above all, ensure to check your profile (by either calling CIC or better still, requesting for your GCMS notes) to ascertain if this was accepted. This would help you proactively raise a CSE on updated POF to prevent your application from being rejected.
Good luck We also need to understand that a VO's discretionary decision can be contested. PF is always legal and valid for use as PoF. I've had to advise some people to raise CSE's on this after having found out that theirs weren't included and all 3 returned positive. As I often say, one only needs to provide relevant persuasive evidence to prove your point, and they're home and dry |

joo2018: Congrats to everybody who aced IELTS. The rest of us, let's keep trying.
In other news, Part 1 of my Canada story almost over after 9 months since decision to travel. Spouse ECA received and IELTS results out. CRS jumping from 423 to 447. My marathon stay in the pool almost over.
Fingers crossed for next Wednesday.
NB: now I know why the number of candidates with high CRS score in the EE pool jumps from Friday to draw on Wednesday. IELTS General Training tests globally comes out the week before the draw (here). So you see people worldwide massively collecting their TRF between Friday and Tuesday and diving into the pool or updating their profile against Wednesday. Congrats on this massive boost and on your coming ITA. I pray that you get a speedy processing |

crystalllllllll: Is it bad to ask questions? I for one hate it when people tell others to go read from page 1. If you can't answer their questions, simply ignore. If you can and you think the question has been answered some pages before you can do well to look it up and then answer with a link to that page. Imagine being on page 389 and dwelling on page 1 info. Things change sometimes and we all know that. Plus people are busy with other things in life too, not just Canadian immigration. If only you know how much time, research and energy it takes to contribute and update page 1 (voluntarily) for the good of everyone, you'd be apologizing to the contributors of this thread. Moreso, if you think a certain section of page 1 needs an update, you can initiate that and let people here know. No one is a repository of knowledge on this EE stuff.
You know, we also have so much in our daily lives to attend to, maybe more than the silent readers and constant inquirers of the thread. Let's not get offended when we get referred to page 1 please |

ChandlerBing: All these fake age questions should stop please. Did you consult us before you falsified your age? Leave us all out of it and sort out your own mess.
You people are bringing undue scrutiny to Nigerians. Making a mockery of sworn affidavits and NPC birth declarations.
Personally, I believe everybody who has ever had a cause to lie about or to conceal their age is an underachiever and quite frankly a looser. I quite agree with you but I think your concluding statement was a bit too harsh too. Let's hope and pray that our affidavits and co don't lose their credibility before long. It is well. |

buggi102kruse: Hello house! Pls I'm about to start the EE process. I have Msc and Bsc, age is 33, wife is 30 and has Bsc. I tried calculating my possible points using ielts score of 8, 7, 7, 7 what I got is 376. I don't know if there is something I didn't do right. Work experience is 7 yrs. Do I need to have either someone in canada, work experience in canada or school in canada to hv upto 400+.
Gurus is the house please I need ur advice or suggestions. At 33 years of age, with an MSc and that good IELTS result, you should be well above 440. Please recalculate again with the CRS tool and be more meticulous this time. |
