kalufelix: heard a woman who gave birth a week ago was among those that lost their lives...these abokis sefSo its ok for the natives to kill and steal from the Fulani herdsmen and not ok when they to retaliate. BTW, hope you realise the context in which you used of the term abokis is derogatory and in violation of Nairaland rules 1 & 2 |
fkaz: @ ops Why are you guys scared of buhari, all this negative online news about buhari won't help you guys, truth be toldTheir paying masters are really really really worried that Buhari would continue from where he stopped, i.e. investigate and jail all looters of public funds; they are therefore doing their best through their foot soldiers to discredit him by all means thereby preventing him from returning to power and the certain jail time awaiting them under Buhari. |
Who is afraid of the breakup, pls let happen. Majority in the north who are farmers and contented with the little they have won't feel the impact but the few elites benefitting from the oil money (i.e. the real cause of southern resentment). On the other hand, Arewa would jejelly watch as the new emerging smaller southern nations implode driven by greed among their ppl for more and more resource control - maybe even down to village level. After all, the main agitation for separation is largely about greed and inability to share and cooperate, it is also this very selfish syndrome that would continue to be the bane of southerners. Southerners would also be exchanging the relative security offered a big nation such as Nigeria for insecurity of smaller (banana) republics they'll become, vulnerable to external invasion and manipulation because of the rich resources they'd have but less able to protect. Of course they'd also be inheriting the same lootocratic leaders (of the likes of Ibori, Alams, GEj & co)who had been robbing them blind and to whom it would continue to be business as usual, the only difference being they'll no longer be able to deflect away the blame from themselves to the usual much maligned northerners, they used to enjoy referring to as parasites - because by then the real parasites would be known. Besides, who says oil will not eventually be found in the north in the light of recent finds in neighbouring border countries like Niger, Chad and Cameroon. Yeah, who is afraid, let it happen come 2014 or whenever. |
maasoap: The fact that he was drown didnt mean he was a fake prophet. Not all good men die peacefully, likewise not all bad people die a violent death.A real prophet would have seen it coming. |
^^^^^Another parrot just accessed his keyboard, I am sure if he were to be asked to give meaning or substantiate what he just wrote, he'd definitely have a hard time doing so, because of a conditioned mindset devoid of rational reasoning and deduction, when it comes to hatred for the religion of Islam and its followers in the north - a mindless robotic tool of propaganda without brain. Oboy, better go and learn to recite something new because this one has been overused and no longer effective - like the many being spewed by your whining lying cheating ilk. |
^^^^Money that Igbos in the north are following and still dying for; what else would Igbos die for if not MONEY, Duh ![]() |
sakaguchi: How do these oppressed moslem women who garb themselves in many yards of curtain expect to appear sane in pictures, I mean, all we see is a curtain and someone peeking from a tiny hole. The other day, I laughed all day in school when I saw one of this women in the security unit of my university trying to obtain I-D card, how will they take passport, ofcourse I'm sure the camera man has downloaded several mls of cum by just seeing their faces. Abokis haramSo to you freedom of choice to wear what she wants (as in this case)is oppression; it wouldn't surprise me if she had alternatively turn out in see through blouse or in G strings you'd be among those who would regard that behaviour as progressive. BTW, religion is a choice, follow yours and let others follow theirs. Finally, if she is a member of Boko Haram, of course we all know who is their chief sponsor after all he claims he knows them, they are even in his government; yet he refuses to identify them let alone arrest them, despite all the massive resources (SSS, police, army, security votes etc)available to him. Yeah, we all know his plans for 2015, its playing out to script |
Crayola1: When did people in the North start wearing Burqas? That's a Middle East traditionWhen did ppl in the South start wearing cowboy hats, thats a north American tradition; better still, when did Igbo chiefs start wearing night caps, isn't that an Oyinbo tradition - I guess you can now appreciate the virtue of your comment. |
^^^^^OH good idea, let them pray for a miracle: for all the Igbos still staying in the north to please relocate back to the east so that their Igbo brothers would have no more reason to continue blaming the north for the death of anyone of them. Yeah, let them go back and let us see how well they'll be received and get on with their so called brothers and sisters - maybe after that we'll get to the real reason why many of them are afraid to go back and even see dying in the north as a better option - bunch of hypocrites. |
^^^^You reminded me, here is the full text and the link. https://www.nairaland.com/1241252/igbos-not-target-kano-bombing We Were Not Target Of motor Park Bombing – Kano igbo Leaders The leadership of Igbo Community Association, Kano yesterday afternoon declared that the Igbo speaking group was not the target of March 19th motor park bombing over which lives and properties were lost in Sabon Gari area of Kano state. “We want to use this opportunity to say that the incident was not targeted at any particular ethnic group as the casualty cut across all tribes of Nigeria. Victims include Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, ethnic nationalities from North central, and South South geo-political zones”, Chief Chi Nwogu, President, Kano chapter of Igbo Community Association declared. Addressing reporters in Kano, Chief Chi Nwogu who spoke on behalf of Igbo federating states said that the figures jointly collated by the leadership of Luxury bus Union revealed that a total of 37 persons died during the blast while 75 other sustained injuries. “We mandated the leadership of the luxurious bus park to carefully collate the data of the affected victims. Casualty figures now indicate that thirty seven persons died in the explosion, while 75 sustained various degrees of injuries”, Chief Nwogu said. The Igbo leader disowned and regretted misleading reports earlier dished out to the public that tend to pitch them against their host in Kano, stressing that “the mischievous information was not from a credible source” and therefore enjoined the Igbos to continue to live peacefully with other non natives in their domain. Chief Nwogu said that “there was clever attempt by disgruntle elements who take interest in making inflammatory statements and publications capable of inciting us against our host government. The reckless statement sent inciting signals to our kith and kins at home and in diaspora because of misrepresentation of facts about the attack” The President of the ICA warned that “lives must not be used for politicking and as such, we must strive to be objective in our judgment and comments on delicate matters like this one. We also appeal to our people at home to remain calm and avoid any act that would aggravate the already tensed situation.” http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/03/we-were-not-target-of-motor-park-bombing-kano-igbo-leaders/ |
^^^^^ Look at this parrot! How does your quotation apply to your statement on Kwankwaso? It goes to show how you memorise without understanding like the parrot that you obviously are. Yeah, another Odechukwu, wannabe PhD without intelligence. SMH. |
tosin2013: this rubbish confession has been circulating online forseveral months now. i had first read this middle last year. d que to ask is why didnt d confessionner come out in tv to give dis confession. i dont support bokoharam but dis is just online gossip :-Its been in circulation for longer than that, an imbecilic concoction of lies, a campaign of columny designed to discredit certain northerners who were perceived as threat/rivals to Odechukwu's ambition towards nomination as PDP's presidential flag bearer. The tempo has resumed considering that the drunken fisherman is considering running again, its no wonder that his laptop lackies are at it again spreading thinly veiled crude propaganda to sway the gullible and impressionable who unfortunately cannot see through their falsehood. For those mumus wishing to believe this trash, ask yourselves why in the face of such evidence that the president and commander in chief of the armed forces (with all the resources:police, sss, army, airforce, navy, security votes at his disposal) still unwilling/unable to arrest, charge and detain these alleged perpetrators of these dastardly acts? - unless of course he Odechukwu is the real sponsor of Boko Haram. |
rawtruth: ...I believe by "northerners" you are referring solely to Hausa/fulanis and their converts.Take it as you wish but when the push comes to the shove they know where they belong. |
^^^^Wonder shall never end! Another arsehole with access to internet. |
plendil: Yeah, that's the exclusive preserve of your ilk. akuya like you. Please yourself, suicide bombing still far better than CANNIBALISM. Sege Dan Iska ![]() |
nwando: I wonder then why abokis are always afraid of Nigeria's break upMy friend, go sidon, yes we believed and most Nigerians who fought on the Federal Government side still believe in one Nigeria. That is the only way we can justify the lives of those heroes lost in the war; which you biafrans as bad losers cannot appreciate. You should thank your lucky stars that if not for the magnanimity of Northerners, in the spirit of no victor no vanquished and the 3 Rs of One Nigeria, you would today be a slave and your generations still to come. If in doubt go check history as to what usually happens to those conquered. Let me also tell you Northerners are not and never afraid of the break up of Nigeria; again go check history, you'll find that the North considered breaking away not once but twice due to the unpalatable characteristic of your ppl. If you are thinking about oil money, well majority of Northerners who are farmers don't get the benefit (except for the few elites) and therefore won't feel its absence. So to hell with your oil money. Most Northerners are in fact contented with what they have no matter how little, that is why life to them is never by hook or by crook - they still value honour before money. |
manny U: Yea, true but i think it will be a different ball game cuz they will knw they living in a different country and if they have no choice, then they must and should return home to their own country and start all over again if dats whats in stock for them but relocatin or runnin away 4rm one region to anoda to suffer and leave in penury jus cuz u nt wanted in d one region and we say its a 'one Nigeria' with freedom and rights, then we'll be livin in denial. So i dnt think dats a contradiction. Thank you.Its a contracdiction because on the one hand you are giving reasons why the ones still in the north are finding it diffult to relocate; while on the other you are calling for the break up of Nigeria and their relocation(thats the contradiction). As for one Nigeria, the Igbos cannot have their cake and still eat it. I am sorry to say, Igbos are their own worst enemies, never seem to get on with anybody, even themselves, always feeling superior and insulting everyone else; provoking and blaming everyone for their own action but themselves when it back fires - always the victims. Igbos derailed our first republic, dismantled regional governments and ushered in unitary system of government in order to concentrate power to themselves when in charge (under Ironsi) and brought us to where we are today (which they are complaining about)- yet blaming everybody but themselves. |
Joseph chuks: I want to personally warn Kwankwaso or whatever he is called to limit his atrocities in the North. He can massacre all the Ibos in North for all I care. But I dare him to visit any state in the east and I will sponsor first Ibo suicide bombers to eliminate him. Same goes to Buhari,Ribadu and El Rufai. soon they will know that is not only towel and rag heads know how to make bombs.Another imbecilic internet warrior, abeg go park Jor! Where would you find Igbo suicide bomber if not for the love of money. If you had said, lying, cheating, kidnapping, armed robbery, drug trafficking, cannibalism etc. ehen; but suicide bombing, for where |
manny U: U jus sit in d comfort of ur home and after eating daddy's food,u come online to type crap and call pple u dont know their story fools. No, me think u d fool here.Another contracdiction, can't you see,if Nigeria breaks then those ppl you are saying that find it difficult to relocate would still be required to do so with the attendant consequences you mentioned, the least is that they would be required to have passports, visas and residence permits to remain and do busuness in the newly divided northern territory - and realistically, who would allow them after all the abuse and acrimony. |
^^^^And you are still not getting it, aren't you? SMH! |
^^^^Your reference to the edifices, in Spain and ground zero, show how shallow you are in thinking, I presume you still don't see the contraction in your opening statement. Abi, bigotry is cloudying your brain. |
Rubbish, Codswallop! The Igbos at it again, playing the victim's card and exaggerating the story without shame. Official victims list of the Kano, Sabon Gari motor bombing was 25, maority of whom were Hausas or of northern extraction. If anbody has a different figure with credible source (not speculative or inuendo) let him/her upload it pls. https://www.nairaland.com/1234351/official-list-victims-kano-bus The buses involved were heading to Lagos and not the east as suggested, this partialy explains why the victims were mainly northerners because many of them were traders travelling to buy/clear their goods from Lagos. So if the victims were mainly northerners, why then should the governor condole the Igbos, whose casualty as evidently seen was minimal(though regretable). In facy shouldn't it be the other way round i.e. Ohaneze paying condolence to the governor for the tragic loss of his ppl. Also in line with the governor's gesture of donating 20M Naira to Baga victims, shouldn't at least one of the Eastern governors be expected to do similar for the Kano victims - if the Igbos can't why critisize someone who could. On the issue of land, for those who do not know, according to land law (at least in northern states) land is vested in trust in the governor of the state, with rights to issue and in the case of overiding public interest, revoke the certificate of occupancy and re-allocate such land for the common good of the community; this include roads, schools (as in this case of the islamic school) hospitals etc. It is also worthy to note that the motor park owners do not even own the land in question but mere tennants, having leased the said land from a church, yet they are the ones shouting while the apparent owners (the church) are not making any noise. It is also worthy to note that the government had for been requesting the motor part operators to relcate from the township to the outskirts of town in line with the state government's policy, which relocated other motor parks before in similar fashion such as the once famous Tashar Kuka. Igbos should therefore pls stop their bias propaganda, they are not the only ones living in Kano or in the north; neither are they the principal or only target of Boko Haram. Before any Igbo, many Hausa Muslims and northerners have died and continue dying on a daily basis at the hands of Boko Haram and the JTF (supposedly sent to protect them). If the Igbos cannot appreciate the facts are they truly are, then its time for them please leave to the safety of their own region, because we are really tired of having to contend with the ongoing problem of poverty and senseless killing of our own ppl while at the same time being insulted by our guests - enough is enough, Igbos should either STFU or get the hell OUT ![]() |
Lachynos2k2: very soon na una go dey chop una meat alone..we downsouth can do wit alternative meat sources.Human meat, no doubt. |
This kind of evil can only be found in the most wicked of ppl, the name (of the perpetrator) alone speaks for itself - unbridled greed, selfishness & excessive love of money has no limit among these ppl, yet they have the audacity to call others animals. SMH. |
YES! |
What do you expect, a self confessed inept at helm of affairs, voted in and supported not because of his leadership qualities but by virtue of his ethnicity & religion. How can things go correctly in Nigeria when the criteria for leadership have reduced to the primitive levels of tribe & religion; yet some ppl still have the audacity to regard themselves as sophisticated, educated & intelligent. As a result of this, we have virtually mortgaged our democracy in exchange for the ongoing unbridled lootocracy, presided by a drunken fisherman. |
So approval finally granted, no doubt thanks to due pressure from the House of Reps, good development nonetheless. Of course, it wouldn't have reached the Reps if there wasn't some truth in the allegation of foot dragging by the minister. |
I laugh in Aboki accent, hi hi hi hi hi, so the man attended a wedding ceremony, drank too much schnapps and yet again opened his big fat mouth to embarrass Igbo ppl as always.. How can Igbos be taken seriously when the best they produce are clownish leaders like this. Mere empty words, playing to the gallery of foolish followers living in false hope; while living off the profits of their naivety. |
Desperate Igbos, want to scam their own ppl out N1,000. Shameless ppl, always plotting to cheat, scam, lie their way through life. Never satisfied, no wonder they are always quarreling with everybody, even between themselves. What fraudulent ppl, SMH. |
Hey, didn't they teach you good table manners I.e. not to speak with your mouth full? Abeg remove that Aboki flesh between your carnivorous teeth when you talk! shege Iyamirin banza. ![]() |
