PoliticsRe: Take A Breath: An Advice For Stella Damasus by MeAboki(m): 1:57pm On Sep 07, 2013
^^^Yeah, Christians expect Muslims to let go of their fundamental Godly values and instead embrace modern day man-made values (like them in the name of civilization) in the same manner they are admitting things like homosexuality etc, even though its clearly forbidden in their books (ehem books? which version sef? is it king James or latest edition).

Why are Christians taking panadol for (apparently) Muslim headaches, after all nobody is imposing these values on them, it only affects Muslims and they (Muslims) are not complaining - even the sharia issue and Islamic banking does not affect them; yet they are the ones complaining and ironically calling themselves and their religion tolerant.SMH

cinammon: So because there's no old fool scouting to lay ur younger sister who is just barely 13 years old ( nd daughter, cousin, niece etc incase u dnt hav a little sister) u feel it's no concern of yours..I don't want to believe this came from an adult...
Speaking about 13yr olds, if you (and Stella) really care that much why not first take it up with the Vatican where the Christian Church had long set the standards by fixing the age of sexual consent at 13 years.
Note, we are not even talking of marriage but consensual fornication, where indeed Yerima and co could have legitimately had fun with your 13yr old younger sister and without any need to marry her - apparently with the pope's blessing.
Christians should therefore dedicate their efforts towards changing the age of consent from 13 at the Vatican because there are certainly more Christian children at risk of molestation under the church than Muslim children through marriage - after all we all have heard about the insatiable appetite of Catholic priests for small boys.

LOL, Umblerra a university graduate?
Kai, in what language did she write her exams - pidgin English I guess.
Even sef her supposed course combination, psychology & biology, e get as e be - kind of silly and strange.
Madam being an intelligent and brilliant student - is just so laughable; and if true then the quality & veracity of southern university education, in particular Uniport, should come under question - and consequently the so called North/South educational divide a mere myth.
Reading between the lines, I would posit that madam may well have gone to university but certainly the university never went through her; well except maybe between her legs, I mean how else would you expect such half baked crude market woman obtain a degree if not through trade by barter? Yes, by lying on her back paying her lecturers, including Oga Johnny at the time.
Considering the notoriety of banks using female employees to rail in depositors, you can easily imagine the considerable effort madam must have put towards rising to the level of head of the bank's marketing department.
It wouldn't surprise me therefore if by the time she finally settled to marry Retardeen that nothing could have been left of her womb to bear him children.
Seriously, if this woman truly earned her degree then my grandma should merit a PhD.

Pls stop wallowing in ignorance, even in some American states underaged marriage has not been outlawed, whats different is that parental consent is additionally required.
Let me tell you, even in UK there are ppl calling for lowering of the age of sexual consent (currently standing at 16) based on scientific research relating to early onset of female puberty, increasing sexual activity and teenage pregnancy etc.
http://www.answers.com/topic/british-manifestations-to-lower-the-age-of-consent
Oh, yes Papa Roma i.e. the Pope allows for sex between ppl as young as 13 yrs in the holy city of the vatican - just google, vatican age of sexual consent.

My friend, its a matter of choice, a legitimate right for those who wish to pursue it, it is not up to you or anybody to deprive them of that right, just in them same way that the Pope allows for sex between people as young as 13 years in the Vatican, in fact why don't you address the same question to him - at least Muslims give it the dignity of marriage.
PoliticsRe: Dokubo - Underage Marriage Our Right As Muslims by MeAboki(m): 3:05am On Jul 20, 2013
This issue has been over flogged by Islamophobes who enjoy using this as an opportunity to mock the religion of Islam and the prophet (SAW) for having married a girl of nine; while forgetting the tender age at which Mary the mother jesus was betrothed to joseph.
Some would argue that, well that was many centuries ago and such tradition should no longer apply in modern society, forgetting also that up till today that the Christian capital, the Vatican, still maintains the age for sexual consent at 13 yrs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ages_of_consent_in_Europe).
BTW, we are not even talking of marriage but fornication, which is increasingly becoming more and more acceptable within Christian communities these days, as Christians continue changing (or more accurately, devaluing) their religious principles in the name of modernity - gradually turning it into man made rather than a religion from God.
Talking about paedophelia, well we all know that the biggest paedophiles are in fact Christian Catholic priests, who specialise in young boys.
Yes, Muslims prefer to marry off their daughters early in order to safeguard them from the temptation of fornication and should continue to be an option for those Muslims who wish it, therefore nobody should have the right to take it away - especially Christians who it least concerns, rather they should concentrate on cleansing their rapidly decaying religion which condones tolerance for fornication, homosexulity, alcoholism etc.
Its shocking yet not surprising that today Christian men in Nigeria are increasingly choosing to impregnate their women before marrying them for fear that the girl could have been a serial fornicator whose womb could have been abused and expired due to several previous abortions for other men - God forbid bad thing!

PoliticsRe: Please Is Kano Among The Boko Haram Infested States In Nigeria? by MeAboki(m): 11:37pm On Jun 23, 2013
Yes, Kano was among the states to have had Boko Haram problems, lasting for about one year with bombings and drive by shootings necessitating several checkpoints and curfews; however this problem is seemingly becoming history with hardly any reported incidence of violence for the past 2-3 months, attendant with fewer checkpoints and complete lifting of curfew for all road users except motorcyclists, who are still restricted between 6pm - 6am and from carrying passengers - being a favourite choice of vehicle for the terrorists.
In short, Kano is relatively quite safe and slowly returning to its pre - terrorist days as the bustling economic capital of Northern Nigeria, in fact millions of non-indigenes (including our over - exaggerating brothers from the SE) are still residing in Kano freely carrying out their legitimate business without any threat or fear against their lives and property.

@ OP:
If you want to come to Kano for business, feel free and welcomed, its relatively safe.
The Sabon Gari area is where most of the non-indigenes have chosen to live, so if you wish to feel safer in numbers then the Sabon Gari is the place for you; however, the hotels are not all that and the roads terrible, a lot of the roads in Kano are in fact bad and being repaired in phases, so there are traffic jams due to closure of some of them under construction.
Food is cheap, accommodation moderately so; while the most popular mode of public transport is keke nepab (locally known as A DAIDATA SAHU) having recently replaced okada (a chaba).

Its obviously a hoax, man and dog are not the same species or close relatives, transplant therefore not possible; even man to man transplants involves use of immunosuppressive drugs to curb the problem of tissue rejection; besides any doctor entertaining such request, apparently for sake of vanity and not real medical grounds, stands the risk of being struck off and banned from practice.
PoliticsRe: Gov. Rabiu Kwankwaso Of Kano State Is Ibo? by MeAboki(m): 9:40am On Jun 22, 2013
Yes, its true that such rumours exist which emanate from politics, political friends and foes are known to coin name modifications in order to tarnish or enhance a person's political profile e.g. Olu Falae's name was at one time made over to become Auwalu Falalu etc. - and Kwankwaso is no different: the Okonkwo and Sons version, though credible is however considered less less true than his alleged Yoruba ancestry.
In any case whether true or not, this is usually not all that important in Kano politics, because Kano people are probably the most politically matured and accommodating in Nigeria for having freely elected known non-indigenes to become governors of the state e.g. Shekarau (Yobe - babur), Sabo Bakin Zuwo (Niger - nupe).
PoliticsRe: Over 40 Killed In Renewed Nasarawa Attack by MeAboki(m): 8:48pm On Jun 07, 2013
Built2last: Over 40 people have been killed in Rukubi, Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, by men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen.
Community leaders who conducted the Deputy Governor, Mr. Dameshi Barau Luka, round the crisis-hit area, said the people were killed when the herdsmen invaded the community on Wednesday night in a raid in which over 35 houses and four cars belonging to the Agatu people of the area were also torched.
More bodies were being recovered when the deputy governor led a delegation of members of the State Security Council on an on-the-spot assessment of the extent of the damage.

The spokesman of the development area, Mustapha Danladi Ayaga, who was part of the team that conducted the delegation round the community, told them that the gunmen invaded the community and went after selected houses belonging to the Agatu people.
He said the death toll might be higher as the search for bodies and missing persons was still ongoing.
Ayaga said the gunmen, dressed in riot police uniform and armed with sophisticated weapons, including AK47 and explosives, also abducted two members of the community.

“Over 500 militants dressed in riot police uniforms and heavily armed with sophisticated weapons ranging from AK47 guns, sub-machine guns and explosives, shot sporadically as they were strategically positioned round the village to ensure that all inhabitants of the locality were consumed”, he said.

http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/over-40-killed-in-renewed-nasarawa-attack/149651/
Why are some ppl quick to judge and condemn so easily without thinking with their brains.
Read the story again and note especially the first and last paragraphs (key words in bold).

First of all, the author only said the culprits were SUSPECTED to be Fulani herdsmen; but never anywhere positively identified any of the attackers as Fulani.

Secondly, the last paragraph identified the gunmen as MILITANTS as well as their sophisticated weaponry, including for that matter SUB MACHINE GUNS and EXPLOSIVES.

Pls stop there and ask yourselves how does that fit with typical ordinary Fulani herdsman (attack)?
Its either the journalist was damn right lazy and did not investigate the story fully well or there was more to it than he was actually letting out.
Either way, this piece is incomplete without the origin and cause of the violence e.g. was it a revenge attack or a mindless one for the fun of it - there has got to be a reason which is obviously not being told.

@ MODERATOR:
Its a big shame that you continue to allow blatant violations the rules, especially no. 2,3, 7 (and even 10) under your watch without even lifting a finger, let alone taking real action against those in violation. Words like Bastards, in capital letters and similar offensive references, are in free flow but not a single word from you - the same also goes for most of the threads especially in politics.

PoliticsRe: FG May Clamp-down On MASSOB, OPC by MeAboki(m): 9:49pm On May 31, 2013
How do you expect him to include MEND when he was the first to deny their involvement in the October 1st bombing of Abuja and attempted to blame it on northerners, until the group publicly embarrassed him by admitting responsibility for the bombing themselves.

On a serious note: the issue at hand is about how these groups constitute a threat to the unity of the country, which is should be easily discernible from looking at the ultimate ambition of each along with the modus operandi it has chosen to achieve its aim.
For example, a violent group may not necessarily pose a big threat to the unity of Nigeria; while on the other hand the aspiration of lesser violent one may pose an even bigger threat. Based on these considerations, I therefore came up with my own conclusions as follows:

MOST THREATENING:
1. MASSOB - they want independence by breaking the unity of the country
2. MEND - they want resource countrol & lately also independence
3. B H - they want to Islamize the north/whole country by force
4. OPC - they want to promote Yoruba interest & superiority above other groups

MOST VIOLENT
1. BH - they bombed & killed more innocent lives and are the most ruthless
2. MEND - they bombed & killed fewer lives but caused most economic damage
3. OPC - they killed few & nowadays mere hired thugs for local politicians
4. MASSOB - least violent but noisiest& being used to make money for its leader

Just my personal opinion, please feel free to disagree or suggest your own.
