Wow,what an eye opener, lets wait and see how they'll try to shift the goal post. |
tomakint: Indeed, he was and still is, however being an Aboki remains his undoing! They have this life in them that gives room for 'ganging up' against the rest of us! If he emerges as President for instance, the Emirs, retired northern Generals, top politicians and business men of northern extract will rally round him and with enough pressure we are back in our "Servitude Part II" the more reason we don't need any Aboki for nowSee myopic reasoning. Let me tell you, Aboki is not your problem; but unbridle insitutionalised CORRUPTION is. Wake up and smell the coffee or you'll forever remain in servitude, not just partII; but part III, IV, V to eternity. OK, now that your uncle Jona dey for power, tell me how your life, your villge, or town or that of the masses improved - afterall no be Aboki dey rule. Pls tell also how your leaders have been accounting to you for all the loot they been stashing away in Swiss accounts, SA, Dubai, London & American while sucessfully diverting attention/blame from themselves. How is hating on Aboki going to recover these stolen loot let alone imrove on your wellbeing?. My friend, save your hate for the real enemy i.e. corruption, it is the cancer of our society, consuming all and discriminating agianst none. Fight it and win and free yourself from servitude. |
Some ppl have finally woken up to smell the coffee, they are now realising how their leaders are playing them boju boju with their money and turning them against/blaming others. |
^^^^You are quite on point about the exaggeration, though the killings are still going on, however, its doubtful if the whole casaulties are up to 38 in the 2months - no doubt far less than 50 floating bodies in one day. @Topic: Its quite irritating when Igbos speak in the manner of the OP, making out as if their tribesmen alone are the main target and major casaulties in the ongoing BK crisis in the north in general and Kano in particular. If this were true then one wonders why the Igbos are still trooping in rather than trooping out of the north/Kano? Why in fact did their kinsmen fail to take up the opportunity of returning home even when offered free transport by their ethnic movement MOSSOB(?). @OP: We are tired of Igbo propaganda and endless over exaggerated sentimental whining to the detriment of others. So pls spare us the trouble, kindly tell all your ppl to please pack up and go, we will be happier without them. We will be happy that they leave us alone to kill ourselves, thank you. After all, Boko bombs and bullets appear to be better options than what awaits them at home (kidnapping, ritual killings, robbery etc.) that many are refusing to return, not even for Christmas. |
hardbody: Thank God I rejected my admission from Warwick. So that school admitted that serial murderer. He will yet die shamefully, God has kept him so far to see how his kinsmen are being wiped out by the North that he worked so hard to align with. The Hausas and Kanuris are not through with with the Tivs yet, it's payback time. I am a good student of history, trust meIf you are implying that Gowon is Tiv, then apparently you were either not that much of a good student as you are boasting to be or were taught a completely different version of history, which definitely wouldn't have been fed to you had you not been so foolish as to have allegedly rejected your way to Warwick. FYI, Gowon is Angas. @ topic: INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILLAIHI RAJI'UN may Allah forgive him & grant him aljanat firdausi and give his family the fortitude to bear his irreplaceable loss. May peace, love and understanding return among the various people of my beloved country, Nigeria. Amin! |
@cyrexx While you are busy copying and pasting purported verses from the Quaran and Hadith in your singular crusade to malign the religion of Islam; you may want to take heed of the saying 'people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones'. In that regard, please find below what a Christian posted here in NL trying to justify the killing of Muslims by Christians. JESUS SANCTIONS KILLING OF UNBELIEVERS jesus himself sanctioned the killing of unbelievers. In luke 19:27 jesus says-bring those who do not believe me here and slay them b4 me! Although, I do not wish to derail this thread by mimicking exactly what you have been doing here and in other threads, however, if you choose to continue I would equally be obliged to quote copiously from your bible about your own violently cruel Christian god and teachings - the Old Testament is especially a very fertile ground full of examples. |
fine, but be ready to get a cut in your monthly allocation you cannot bite the finger that feed you again your brothers in the east must go home too next we shall declare biafra.
Monthly allo... what? Abeg, shut up my friend before I e-slap you! Perhaps if na Ijaw/ND person talk I fit listen to am but common inyamuri sef, wetin una de allocate talk less of feeding us?. Ah, yes,I forgot: armed robbery, kidnapping, fake drugs... to name just a few. Please haven't you ever wondered why your people are still trooping in and staying put up north despite BH, the bombings, killings and all? Haven't you also wondered why they still choose to stay in the North and become ECONOMIC REFUGEES even at the risk of death rather than return to Igboland - against all odds and incentives such as free transportation from the boy scouts brigade you people call MOSSOB? You just de follow follow others regurgitate nonsense without independent thought. Next time try to think before you speak - kaji ko? ![]() |
RETARDEEN, please make your point and show the ignorance in my comments or STFU. BTW, Kwankwaso is quite qualified to contest and by all indications many times more capable than your namesake, RETARDEEN a.k.a. ODECHUKWU, PhD without intelligence, we now have as president; because Kwankwaso is already making positive impact on the lives of his state citizens than your clueless brother on the lives of ordinary Nigerians; while like Nero (in Rome) he is literally sitting on the balcony of Aso Rock fiddling and watching as Nigeria burns (much in accordance with the recently exposed prescript-ed ND/Southern agenda, come 2012 I rule under one Nigeria or breakaway and I still rule under new breakaway SS/SE configuration - basically perpetuating himself in office at any cost to human lives - Okah has spoken). |
^^^^ RETARDEEN! PhD without intelligence, its obvious you definitely missed comprehension classes at school. Well, maybe if you had bothered to have read my post carefully (without jumping to conclusions as you did) you might have understood the gist in the first place; unfortunately, you didn't. Perhaps if you should therefore try again, a second time (who knows, with any luck) you too may also arrive at the correct conclusion - if not, for goodness sake, please don't hesitate to ask for help with the translation. Inna Lillahi Wa inna Illaihi Raji'un: May Allah forgive you and grant you Aljannat Firdausi and give your family the fortitude to bear your irreplaceable loss. Adieu gentle giant and thank you for the memory and pleasure you brought to our hearts while serving your country selflessly. |
The poster should be arrested for not passing this important valuable information to the security agencies, because by this inaction he is technically assisting the Boko Haramists. |
Rubbish, the pageant should be renamed MBIGN i.e. Most Beautiful IGBO Girl in Nigeria; since most of the contestants are Igbo or girls with Igbo sounding names - as if there no other tribes or regions in Nigeria, even Yoruba states are being represented by Igbos, what a fraud. SMH. |
Kai, see misleading headline, suicide bomber; when actually there was no bomb nor any attempt by the suspect to kill himself, yet he was labelled suicidal. A typical case of retardeen, Phd without intelligence at work. No wonder the boko boys are turning on the media for misquoting them - though not in support of their killing of innocent lives. SMH. |
@OP: Note, there are specific rules in Islam concerning Muslim/non-Muslim relationships. Basically, Muslim girls/women are not allowed to marry anybody outside the religion; while male Muslims may marry but only from people of the the book (i.e.religions with scriptures such as Christians, Jews etc. who have the Bible and Tora respectively), and in every case the woman must be chaste; neither is (unchaperoned) dating in the modern sense (involving physicality: touching, kissing, hugging and sex) allowed for any of the sexes. Therefore what you are doing is fundamentally wrong and selfish, if you truly love her then you must let her go; otherwise you will be turning her against her parents and religion which in Islam are big serious sins and quite unfortunate. Please don't ruin her life, free her before its too late. |
Frosbel where have you been,it been a while never see your post here
Obviously taking one of his long breaks during which he spends searching and gathering anti-Islamic propaganda from the internet to later come back and paste here on NL for the benefit of the gullible and impressionable bigots like him. ![]() @Frsobel: Hope you note that the fraudster is not of the religion you conspire and hate so much. |
^^^^^Haba, what kind question is that? You see blatant political propaganda designed to malign, exaggerate and distort the facts about Kano and the North in general - and you are still asking the OP whats his point. Pls quit pretending you don't know. ![]() |
Dede1: I eat good and balanced foods rich in Aboki nutrients (hands and feet the most delicious) Of course. ![]() |
In my opinion, this is an elaborate, impracticable approach! They want to take HIV away and infect the person with cancer? The future of HIV cure is in targeting viral RNA and not some elaborate nonsense.
I think I get your drift: The treatment would involve injecting thousands of pre-treated cells with re-designed receptors, however, any slip up in receptor modification (even if it were a few cells among several thousands during production) could easily result in aberrant marauding cells attacking/invading normal tissue leading to cancer. Besides, this novel approach does not seem to me to be all that radically different from the vaccine approach since both rely on recognition and attachment via specific receptor sites thereby immobilizing the virus for final onslaught by killer cells or macrophages. Maybe there is more to the story than actually meets the eye but as at now the concept of the Magic Bullet (i.e. almost 100% high specificity and efficacy)is largely a myth - nonetheless we shall remain hopeful and in prayer for such a cure for the sake of the many afflicted by Allah's grace. Amin. |
lacasa: Gba! So going by this nw, ℓ̊ can easily say "CHRISTIANITY Ȋ̝̊̅§ A TERRORIST RELIGION" abi??Sure, and you'll be perfectly correct judging by the warped logic of some Nlders who find it quite reasonable to castigate the whole Muslim world and the religion of Islam because of the crimes of a small minority of misguided Muslims. Accordingly therefore, for the crime of this woman and her Christian accomplices it would also be perfectly reasonable for you to conclude that ALL CHRISTIANS ARE CRIMINALS AND CHRISTIANITY IS A RELIGION OF CRIME. ![]() |
toskint: As far as I'm concern the poster is silly and a bastard fool. Get it sink into your draining brain you cannot deduce from the video the woman's religion. It clearly shows u want to put up a defence to the globally know fact: ISLAM IS A RELIGION OF TERRORIST. It is obvious and we don't need to be told.Wake up and smell the coffee. Read the story (below)and follow the provided link; then maybe you may want to retract those words and apologize to the poster and all the Muslim folks whose religion you just insulted. @ Mai-suya: don't bother explaining anything, the story speaks for itself; though you can count on those in denial to come up with lame excuses to defend the indefensible. Army nabs gunrunners in Adamawa http://www.peoplesdaily-online.com/news/national-news/32277-army-nabs-gunrunners-in-adamawa Saturday, 17 March 2012 01:08 administrator Richard Ihediwa and Augustine Aminu with agency reportsa The 23 Armoured Brigade, Yola, Adamawa state, yesterday nabbed a syndicate including a woman and a pastor who specialise in gunrunning and sale of military gear to men of the underworld. This is just as a police corporal, Reuben Joel, who is attached to the anti-terrorism unit of the Nigeria Police Force in Aba, Abia state has also been nabbed for trafficking military and police uniforms to terrorist cells. Nancy James and her accomplice, Haliru Jumba, said to be a pastor with Kunini Deeper Life Bible Church in Lau Local Government Area of Taraba state were caught with some cache of arms hidden inside a sack of garri at a military checkpoint in Numan Local Government Area of Adamawa State. Military authorities said the group where heading to Gombe state where one Danjuma Luka, who is now also in police net in Taraba state was said to have waiting to take delivery of the guns. The capture of Mr. Luka by the military followed the arrest of Ms. James, who the military says was making her second delivery of arms, after a previous successfully operation in February. The brigade spokesperson, Lieutenant Victor Olukoya said the woman was caught with four double-barrel guns and two pistols and would have gotten away but for the vigilance of the soldier who suspected and accosted her. "The weapons were hidden in that bag of garri and after searching the sack of garri, the guns were discovered, and the men arrested," Olukoya said. The army spokesperson explained that the pastor arrested in company of the woman "is still only an accomplice" and that the police would be left to ascertain the extent of his involvement in the gunrunning business. Also paraded by the army is a police corporal, Reuben Joel, who is attached to the anti-terrorism unit of the Nigeria Police Force in Aba, Abia State. He was accused of trafficking military and police uniforms to terrorist cells. Mr. Olukoya said it was amazing that a serving corporal, attached to the anti-terrorist unit of the police command in Abia State, would be involved the illegal sale of military uniform in far away Adamawa State. The arrest of Mr. Joel by the army followed the arrest of two persons by the military at a checkpoint in Mubi, who were caught with ten uniforms and ten pairs of military boots. After they were interrogated, the men confessed to taking supply of the military uniforms from Mr. Joel, and that they were taking the consignment to Hong in Adamawa state. |
Nchara: @Me Aboki:My friend, what has the above highlighted (in bold) got to do with the issue at hand? Please try not to display your ignorance so publicly. As for the cows being safe while in Iboland, well all I can say for that is that the Fulani long knife and bow & arrow are one hell of a deterrent to any would be cattle rustler. Ah! the killing of strangers, well well, I'm sure you may not want to agree though I am quite sure you also know that killing of strangers is not the exclusive preserve of Northerners; while in fact it has been known that one or two a stranger may occasionally find their way into the Iboman's cooking pot and stomach, or a ritualist's shrine, the odd kidnapper and so on - not surprising therefore that my people least find it comfortable to settle lest permanently invest in the wicked man's land. You dig? Kai, wonders shall never end; Iboman accusing Northerner of not believing in one Nigeria. Walahi tallahi, dis on na case of man bite dog! I dey laugh in pidgin Hausa he he he he he ![]() |
antartica: All these animals that always talking of loots sharing without an atom of brain to create, preserve and pass on.^^^^And you really think you sounded sensible, don't you? What cretinous rubbish - typical arrogant empty headed Odechukwu, PhD without intelligence. You think every Northerner is an olodo like you. Beaf: Does the constitution only concern oil?Your sarcasm stinks and adduces to my suspicion that you are bereft of valid argument against the issue at hand. |
Very senseless myopic move. Since when did BH start attacking mosques and why would they attack any mosque for that matter, given that they BH are Muslims? Besides,in Islam mosque demolition is tantamount to sacrilege. There is no logic to it whatsoever. I am suspecting that there must other reason(s)than they are ready to admit and that security was a poor excuse to cover up for the real motive for the demolition. If the Governor was truly worried about security; then by the same logic he should demolish all the churches in Lagos because BH also attack churches and each one of them is therefore a potential target. ![]() |
Abagworo: Ok since it has to do with Igbo what about in the South-South?Post is about Iboland, however, just to indulge you; my guess is the SS is also perceived similarly but not as bad SE. |
What the North is saying is that the current derivation formula is not being implemented according to the constitution, if anybody has anybody has a valid argument against that position let him do so; otherwise the sentiments and insults are really uncalled for. ![]() |
Land acquisition problems; Ibos openly discriminate and do not freely want to sell to Hausa, who perceive them as generally inhospitable and unwilling to assimilate them into their communities, dubious in business, wicked and therefore untrustworthy. Its therefore no wonder that Hausas do not feel comfortable enough to settle and invest permanently in Iboland - especially with Ibo Biafra secessionist agenda - who therefore would be foolish enough to want to settle on a ship planning to sail out to the ocean. In short, Ibos are not sincere good hosts. They cry about hostilities against them outside Iboland but they in turn are worst - you don't have to be violent to be bad hosts; and Ibos are certainly good at it - which explains for the poor investment by core Northerners in particular and other major tribes in general in Iboland. |
^^^LOL, no problem; but in the mean time while you are still enjoying Kainji power you guys must be ready pay us our 13% derivation. ![]() |
muyoto: health and sanitation graduates? WTH is that? there many other safer ventures the governor would have had these youths involved in.You obviously cannot read well, they are graduates from Sch. of Hygiene not health & sanitation i.e. the portfolio of the Governor's special adviser (just jumping to conclusion). BTW, whats wrong with empowering them to be self reliant in an area they have been trained for as primary health providers? |
ACM10: Good to know that some of my favourite posters like Afam4Eva, OneNaira, Bashr stays in Enugu. I thought that I'm lonely here.Kai, see how some people are enjoying oo: To best of my knowledge no area in my state (Kano) enjoys 18 hours of power; in consequence most of our factories and industries have been forced to close down. In my area (also in the G.R.A.)we are lucky to have 1-3 hours every two other days or so, our light bulbs serve only as decorations but for the few of us who can still afford fuel for our generators, in fact my car boot is perpetually laden-ed with fuel jerrycans. So this is how you people in the South have all along been enjoying our Kainji generated power from the North; while we in the North are being kept in almost total darkness - and yet, you are still complaining, na wa oo Well, enjoy it while you can (anyway, na una broda dey Aso Rock); but soon we too will have to start our own campaign for resource control (yes,50%) so make una dey ready to pay more for future Northern generated electricity ![]() |
@ shoboy9 and madanne4real: Haven't you guys heard of patent medicine stores? What qualification do you need to open such business? Besides, 50k for rent and 100k stock capital could hardly get you a real pharmacy but only something like a medicine store, which is what the Gov. is trying to do by empowering these youths - who as graduates of sch. of hygiene are among the kind of people being trained to work at Primary Healthcare level in the Local Governments. On the issue of killing people, surely shouldn't you be more concerned with the real killers i.e. those that engage in deliberate importation and distribution of fake drugs, responsible for the silent killing of thousands of innocent people on daily basis - and we all know the major culprits, don't we? |
No difference whatsoever, usual darkness where most of the time our light bulbs serve as mere decorations, except of course for those of us who can afford generators. Its interesting, however, to note how a problem at Kainji is causing protests in (Enugu)the South. Isn't it ironic that while many of our industries in the North have been perpetually starved of electricity and therefore forced to close down; some people down South are already shouting because of only 3 days disruption to their obviously disproportionate favourable allocation. |
