Yes, you can't place your own bid with any amount below 50M but you can go with the bank's bid. The 11% they gave you from their secondary may have been gotten less than the 14.74%. This is because lots of them bidded lower because they weren't expecting the spike in rate from the 9.49% to the 14.74% and may not want to loose out.

That said, I am sure many of them will bid in that 14.74% region or even higher for the next auction. So you will have to go with the banks bid if you still desire to invest in it.

Please is there any bank where I can get tbills of 5mn from the primary market as rates are higher here.I got assisted for the normal bonds not savings from a commercial bank at an amount lesser than 50m but I want to do same for tbills and they say it has to be 50m before bidding.At the last auction I was offered 11% for secondary purchase which was gotten for 14.74% at auction. Kindly assist

It is not possible to deliberately make the rate low


If fund A has 80% of Treasury Bill, 10% of commercial paper and 10% in fixed deposit


Fund B has 70% of commercial paper, 15% of Treasury Bills and 15% in fixed deposit .


Fund B will definitely have a higher yield because of the underlying assets in the fund

Depending the make, model and year. I have fleets ( 12 tractor and trailer) Depending if you are buying new, auction or used) Mine cost me $120k for the tractor and $50k for dry van and $80k for reefer and flatbed is cheap.

Average if your are buying from auction you can get the tractor (semi) from $50k and if you are buying from dealers you will get from $70k+and if you order you will get from $120k+ just the semi.

I got my passport today.I did not receive any text and my phone number was fine but it was ready and it was DIY.I captured April 8th.I advise any one who captured before this time to head there for collection,text or none.It was not crowdy today too unlike weekdays...

Anybody that is thinking DIY should not come near Alausa center except you're ready to wait for the next 5 months minimum after you capture. I was at Alausa today and those that captured April this year are just receiving sms to come for collection of their passport. I saw some who captured March this year and their passport is not out yet. The pages of your passport and whether fresh or renewal does not matter. IF YOU DIY AT ALAUSA, WAIT TO GET SMS BEFORE YOU GO THERE OR ELSE YOU WILL BE FRUSTRATED. YOU MAY NOT GET SMS IF THE PHONE NUMBER YOU FILLED DURING APPLICATION IS NOT CORRECT OR YOU MAKE MISTAKE WHILE FILLING YOUR FORM.

The level of corruption on display at Alausa need serious media attention. Officers there are seriously cashing out with fast track. If you DIY and pay minimum of 15k depending on officer you approach, your passport will be out in 2 weeks. I confirmed this for real, and DIY are waiting 5 & 6 months without their passport. Don't be deceived by the 3 & 6 weeks notice. You will wait for 6 months .

I think Shagamu center is better now for DIY. My source is what I read here. Alausa, Ikoyi and Fastac was like that some months ago. They have returned back to their corrupt practices without shame and human feeling.

If you want to DIY, I will suggest you think twice before you make your decision. A word is enough for the wise.
