@Poster and all first time travelers to Dubai

I beg you to be very careful of hooking up with friends you dont know, and the type of hotel you lodge in when you get to Dubai.

I and my cousin traveled to Dubai for different purposes in 2008, i stayed in Marco Polo a 4 star hotel while she insisted on staying in a 2 star hotel with her friend in Deira in order to cut cost. She actually traveled to buy goods for sale while i was there to scout for properties i could buy for some clients in Nigeria.

Her Nigerian friend teamed up with some other girls to rob her of goods and money worth more than N200,000 overnight. To cut the story short, even though i am a gentle executive from Nigeria, i had to show some craze and invite the Dubai police before we could recover some of her goods.

If you are a 1st timer please be careful, put in place proper control and good safety measure like keeping your cash or goods in the hotel office etc. If you can afford it go for a minimum 4 star hotel because in most cases only decent people frequents those places and some are not so expensive (like 20k per night).

If you need any other advice on how to go about things, i will give it to you free of charge.

I expect atiku to win Katsina, Yobe, Kano, Kwara,Niger, Borno, Kebbi , Sokoto and Zamfara. All states who have pro zoning governors will go for ATIKU
