Taylor90:This guy! I thought you have left NL. Sebi you vowed not be here again. Wa na dan inska ne, walahi. |
And we have a lot of Consultants C’ on this forum and in Nigeria. |
Brainbox0806:Good you look for another property to buy and save yourself some headaches. I am sure that’s not the best house you would like to buy forever. Let it slide, please. |
Odewaleadesoye:May your days be longer, Sanusi. Nigerians too mumu for these politicians. We are not showing them that they are our representatives. We leave them to mess everything up and hey have succeeded in doing that. |
Reinaldo:Not loan. It’s like collecting future oil sales proceed in advance but it’s gonna come with an element of interest repayment - as if you discount your invoices, sort of. |
…GOODBYE GUYS IT WAS FUN BEING HERE Make bold, your promises and never return here. I am sure your high BP will come down a little. Please don’t open or use another moniker again here o, so that the high BP doesn’t come back. |
crismark:He could still be right, to a greater extent. I feel anybody who needs forex would buy through official windows but not from Abokis, just that it would first of all crash Naira for years before it starts stabilizing since there would be few sellers on the market. |
Nickelodeon93:Didn’t get any email. I just rechecked. |
Nickelodeon93:I am sorry; I have checked. No email from you. I hardly get email from NL in my inbox these days. I guess there’s a technical glitch, somewhere. |
9jahotblog:The second and third picture are ‘cut and join’. Look at the middle of the picture well. Photoshopped. |
lanretto:…how do I go about this as I dont know anyone in that city yet? Short Answer: Getting accommodation can be tough in Innsbruck, because of shortage of homes. It’s good you start your search early. Cheaper student hostels start from OJAB. You can check Housing Austria, OEAD, Viennabase (to see if it has accommodation in Innsbruck), Akademikerhilfe etc. Your Question: FOr the residence permit application I need a proof of fund must I use a sponsor or can I say am using my savings? Short Answer: It’s good you sponsor yourself if you are overage or going for Master’s course. Always be ready to show source of your fund. Your Question: Also is it compulsory to transfer the money to austria account when I get to austria to collect my residence permit? Short Answer: No. Yiu May only be asked to show the fund ( in your newly opened Austrian bank account) when you want to pick your residency card. You may, alternatively, be asked to show your latest (Nigerian) bank statement, to prove that the fund is still there or be asked to log into your bank app and show them ( if you sponsor yourself). You may be lucky they won’t even ask for it. I have seen cases like that, especially, in town la and cities other than Vienna. But don’t believe that you won’t be asked. I hope this is clear a bit. |
lextube:Check STUWO, OEAD, Home4students, OJAB etc. They are plenty here. But start from that. I may be able to get you more later, when I am free next week, by the grace of God. |
Ofunaofu:Leave him. His name is Bassey Ekaete Achibong. |
A lot needs to be done to bring value of our Naira up and that lot lies in production than in consumption (importation). FG should give importers only 3 months to conclude and clear all pending imports and then impose ban on so many finished goods other than raw materials and machinery for production purposes then give like 7 years’ tax holidays to whoever wants to set up factories from the day such is approved. Government should also relax its visa policies on expatriates who would come and configure some machines or construct/fabricate some equipment for us. Money meant for some useless ministries can be channeled into constructing power transmission lines, in addition to segmental licenses to be issued per minimum of 100km to whoever wants to go into power distribution. We can speed up so many things with cash. Tell China to manufacture prepaid meters and mandate NEPA to share and install in all homes within 6 months. |
Ojeniyi123:Ok. Thanks a lot. |
E be like say Akpabio don smoke Igbokoda weed. |
Geekop:I have checked them out on YouTube, immediately I saw your comment. They have the kind of machine we are looking for. Would try and contact them soon. Thanks, one more time. |
Gigaset:👍👍 |
Geekop:Thanks a lot. Hope it’s a reliable company? |
Good work here. Let him move to other towns too before he would finish his 8 years. He was not voted for only in the cities. He can partner investors on independent power projects for the state and make it a limited or a Plc company where people can invest as little as N10,000 to own shares there. Without uninterrupted power, no nation or a state is going to grow. Power is the bedrock of any development. He should engage town planners well. The way we plan our towns is very horrible. I don’t know the essence of our brothers/sisters, sons/daughters who study(ied) Urban and Regional Planning and cannot plan a simple village well. Good our governors start sensitizing land owners, chiefs and kings, omo oniles, builders etc about why we need to plan our towns and villages. Nobody is out to take their lands from them. Just know the total number of plots you have and government would consider it when planning your villages and towns. Too much to say in this and I am sure a lot of people know more than I do. |
Any serious, professional borehole person/company in the House, please? I mean serious person/company that can carry out meaningful and effective soil test and dig quality borehole in a town very close to Osogbo in Osun State. No rotary diggers, please. We want boring machine digger who can stay to terms of agreement 100% and who is affordable. I may be able to get person/company one or more drilling jobs (although already on standby), if the outcome of the first job is very satisfactory. Kindly share, here, business profile, proof of jobs handled successfully with evidences and testimonies (if there’s any). |
Leave. Let him be. Things will soon pick. Dry season is almost here and car wash biz picks. I am sure his mental health is more important too. The work he is doing in bank is like a slav.ery work. Let him endure and learn till next year. He will set up his own car wash biz elsewhere and start making a decent living. All he needs, for a start, are: a space that can accommodate at least 2 vehicles - side-by-side, a space where 3 okadas can be washed on a DIY basis, drum, access to borehole or running water, washing accessories, rugged pressure washer, bench, shed. I am certain he would thank God for leaving that yeye work he is calling career. |
frog12:Only strong distributors like WWCVL and FarEast Merchantile can take the risk of importing at such high cost. It’s good we watch out for substandard or imitated products among our unscrupulous importers. I am sure Sanofi and co would be happy. |
raskymonojendor:It’s not because they can’t produce at low cost. It’s because GSK doesn’t bri.be.l and there Asian companies do without blinking eyes. It’s one the reasons P&G left Nigeria. I worked with GSK for over 10 years as a senior manager and I know the system like the back of my hands. With the level of Naira falling, the products would be too costly for Iberians to buy because GSK builds one of the best pharmacies products in the world. We shouldnt forget that the company has billions stock in Nigerian banks which it hasn’t been able to repatriate, for years, due to our CBN policy. I was sad when I was briefed that there would be an all hands meeting yesterday because I already knew that would be the outcome of the meeting. I really miss my company. |
Cmg777:How much dem wan sell iTel phone?. Na misplace he misplace am jare. The phone nor lost. |
Plegnant chimamadwoman alinching. How many buckets of paints did she use to sand-fill that face? Just asking on behalf of one iPod here. |
Love800:You can ask me, as many questions, as you want. So long I have up-to-date or more relevant answers to them, and I have time, I will attempt to answer them. As per learning languages, you can start from free online apps. YouTube also has free hundreds of millions of videos on languages. Learning those languages online doesn’t guarantee you of mastering such language but you are already informed about it. It could make learning it easier when you get to the country you are going. That’s if you are not lazy to learn language because it can be daunting to learn language when you are not under pressure. You can also consider to attend language school of such country in Nigeria and then write their language exams and pass. Having this language certificate could easily set you up in the country you are going, once you land. Just make sure you learn it up to B1 level either in Nigeria or the moment you get into such country. A1 or A2 is not bad either but it may not fetch you white-collar jobs but quickly fetch you blue-collar jobs. I hope I have addressed your area of concern well. If not, let me know. You can check many apps on your play store to have a feel on what the language could look like. |
Poverty has disillusioned so many Nigerians into believing too much in their spiritual fathers and mothers prayers. Good social system can correct over 70% of what we pray for. Where there’s no good social system as we have in Nigeria, lots of ‘problems’ won’t be solved through prayers. Let’s remain focused on all we do. I repeat: prayers won’t solve so many of the problems. That’s the stack truth. |
Love800:They are menial (blue-collar) jobs here. Just that they could look more dignifying than some menial jobs. You may need to pass some driving tests o and lease a vehicle, if you are considering being a cabbie. If it’s a country where they don’t speak English, you may need some basic levels of the language. |
Love800:Lots of jobs. I don’t know the country you are going and I don’t know your level of energy. Are you the type that loves to sleep early or sleep late? Can you stand longer? Can you lift heavy loads? Can you walk all through big or small warehouses without sitting down for hours? Do you have vehicle or forklift driving experience? Etc. Those are parts of things that you need to consider when choosing your menial job. You can expect to work in hotels, restaurants, parcel delivery or sorting companies, farms or wood logging companies, floor cleaning, refuse collection for trucks, cab-hailing (e-g. Uber and Bolt), healthcare giving to old people, teaching children, dog-walking etc etc etc. |
WildChild00:Even from Canada. This is what our people don’t know. That’s the work most of our friends and brothers do over there. Some aid and abet auto crimes. |
