Once upon a time in a village, a man appeared
and announced that he would buy monkeys for
N100 each. The villagers seeing that there were
so many monkeys around, went out to the forest
and started catching them.

The man bought thousands at N100 and as
supply started to diminish, the villagers stopped
their efforts. He further announced that he would
now buy at N200. This renewed the efforts of the
villagers and they started catching monkeys
again. Soon the supply diminished and people
started going back to their farms. The offer rate
increased to N250 but the supply of monkeys
became so little that it took much effort to even
see a monkey, let alone catch one.

The man now announced that he would buy
monkeys at N500! However, since he had to go
to the city on some business, his assistant would
now buy on his behalf.

In the absence of the man, his assistant told the
villagers: ''Look at all these monkeys in the big
cage that my OGA has bought from you, I will sell
them to you at N350 and when my OGA returns
from the city, you can sell it to him at N500''.

The villagers squeezed out all their HARD
EARNED savings and bought all the monkeys. The
most greedy ones among them even sold their
lands to purchase many MONKEYS, hoping to
make a huge profit without labor.

Then...

They never saw the man or his assistant. Only
monkeys everywhere!

1. Prior to the very moment Jonathan's jet landed in Sokoto, did any of us hear he would be traveling to Sokoto to commiserate with the family of the late deposed Sultan?

2. If we didn't hear - it means he didn't publicize the visit, how then did these people know he would be visiting and then wrote on cardboards?

3. Somebody might have informed them about Jonathan's planned visitation, hence the doctored cardboards. Or is it possible for them to write on those cardboards without having a prior knowledge of his planned visitation?

Abeg make them stop to dey deceive us abeg. We all know someone informed those peeps that Jonathan would be visiting. He bought those cardboards and placards with his/her money. They then inscribed those things on them and gave them out to those people to go welcome Jonathan.

People like saying things that are convenient to them and suite their desire. Trump need not to go and study the extend of damage that has been done on the system. He's inheriting a robust and vibrant economy not a false one handed over to Buhari by his master Jonathan. It takes a serious minded person not to fall to the same ditch Jonathan fell into by the help of nuisance like Reno and the likes. Buhari may have his own short comings for so many thing but should not be because he refused to choose ministers is a problem. I think the problem of Nigeria is not having a grounded legacy to fall on. Trump is falling on a well established legacy that cannot be easily changed by anyone coming in the future to come.
