4everGod: BEFORE YOU READ MY REMARK PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM FROM THE EAST. ITS AMAZING SEEING HOW PATHETIC AND CLUELESS MOST NIGERIANS STILL ARE. THOSE FROM THE SS, SE AND SW WOULD RATHER DIE AT THE HAND OF SOMEONE WHOM THEY REGARD AS A BROTHER THAN BE SAVED BY A STRANGER. WHAT A SAD STORY BEING TOLD HERE. IF A PARTY WHICH HAD JUST 7 MONTHS OF NATIONAL RECOGNITION COULD PULL THIS MUCH CLOUT AGAINST ONE WHICH HAS HAD 144 MONTHS RECOGNITION IN NIGERIA THEN NIGERIANS HAVE SPOKEN THAT THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED "GOODLUCK" AND HIS BAND OF SHARKS, KILLERS AND THIEVES.
LETS SEE THIS IN A CLEARER LIGHT HERE. THE CLUELESS NIGERIANS JUST ELECTED A CLUELESS AND OBVIOUSLY not-so-smart INDIVIDUAL FOR THE NEXT 4 YEARS. IF IN 12 MONTHS OUR FOREIGN RESERVES HAVE BEEN ALMOST DEPLETED WATCH OUT FOR THE NEXT 4 YEARS. PERHAPS WE WOULD BE GOING TO GHANA TO BORROW FUNDS. I REMEMBER THAT IN 1996/97 NIGERIA, CHINA, INDIA AND INDONESIA WERE ALL RATED AS DEVELOPING NATIONS BUT NOW ONLY NIGERIA IS STILL A DEVELOPING NATION WHEN INDIA, CHINA AND EVEN INDONESIA ARE SUPER POWERS TODAY, HOW SAD. WE ARE THE LARGEST BLACK NATION IN THE WORLD, THE THIRD LARGEST PRODUCER OF CRUDE OIL IN THE WORLD, YET WE ALLOW OURSELVES TO BE LED BY THIEVES WHO CARE ABOUT NOTHING ELSE BESIDES SELF ENRICHMENT.
IT IS ON RECORD THAT THE AVERAGE IBO MAN IS CORRUPT AND PREFERS HIS OWN KIND. AN IBO MAN CANNOT EVEN TELL THE TRUTH TO HIS BROTHER OR EVEN HIS WIFE BECAUSE THEY LOVE DECEPTION AND ONLY DANCE TO THE TUNE THAT FAVOURS THEM SUCH AS THE PDP TUNE. CORRUPTION CAN ONLY WALK WITH CORRUPTION. THIS IS A CLEAR INDICATOR OF THE LEADERSHIP WE HAVE. I AND MY FAMILY VOTED FOR THE DUO CALLED BB BECAUSE UNLIKE MOST NIGERIANS WHO DIDNT, I BELIEVE IN A BETTER FUTURE FOR ME AND MY CHILDREN AND THEIR CHILDREN AND THIS FUTURE CANNOT BE FOUND IN THE LIKES OF PDP BY WHATEVER REPRESENTATION THEY HAVE. I WEEP FOR NIGERIA BECAUSE IN ANOTHER 3 YEARS COLLECTIVELY WE WOULD BE PRAYING FOR GOD TO REMOVE THE MAN GOODLUCK FROM OFFICE BECAUSE THE WORST HAS ONLY JUST BEGUN. Go and sit on hot stove. You are not wiser than 144 million Nigerians that voted. You think you are wise but you are foolish. You call Nigerians clueless but you are empty upstairs. Is it by force? Why can't you accept defeat on behalf of your candidate. You are crying wolf like a drowning man. The people have spoken and their decision is final. If you are not comfortable with the decision of the majority, find your way to Niger Republic. |
Politics › Re: Official Results Of Presidential Election: By INEC by Meldrick(m): 9:29am On Apr 18, 2011 |
COMPAQ: I have heard 2 confirmed cases of ballot stuffing and thumb printing of empty ballot papers in Rivers and Bayelsa. The results were obviously rigged in the SE and SS. The percenages of registered voters that "voted" were too high relative to the rest of the country (have the SE and SS suddenly become so much more politically aware than everyone else?). And of those who voted, the % for PDP was also too high relative to the opposition. As a Professor of Political Science said on NTA yesterday, in the best of cases, a popular candidate will get maybe 60%-70%, but certainly not 95%-97% as we had in SS and SE.
I am sure most of us have seen the video of a woman thumbprinting empty ballot papers in River state. That is additional proof of what went on the the SE and SS. The cry of a drowning man. GEJ congratulations!!!This is yet another free and fair election. |

Any association with Tinubu will mean promotion of anti-democratic tendencies. I have said it over and over, Tinubu is one selfish man. He has an evil agenda. If he was in Obasanjo's shoes, he would have done worse. He did not give a danm about Ribadu and Fola Adeola's feeling. Even when he accepted Buhari, why think of dropping Fola Adeola and nominating new people including himself. Tinubu wants to hold on to power or have a direct say in government. ACN can never have my vote. I'll only vote Fashola in ACN. No to Tinubu's dictatorship. |

MerryPlus: Gbenga Daniel, a committed Awoist ?. This is an insult to the memory of the late Sage, The man, OGD, is everything Awolowo wasn't, Ahhh Indeed an insult. MerryPlus: Check out one of OGD's democratic credentials: He "successfully" used 9 members of the Ogun State House of Assembly to suspend the majority 15 (including the Speaker, who still retains the mace till date). The minority members have been approving several appointments including those of commissioners and membership of local government caretakers' committees, etc. and passing bills (including multi-billion Naira Budgets) inside a room in the Governor's Office, which the Governor has been gleefully "implementing". OGD!!! Woe unto you. You will be judged by your works and you must pay the ultimate price. You'll surely end up in jail. MerryPlus: I don't understand while otherwise respected elders like Pa Ayo Adebanjo, Pa Reuben Fasoranti and Sir Olaniwun Ajayi are bent on squandering whatever is left of Afenifere's goodwill on the drowning OGD. We know the desperation of OGD to plant a successor in Ogun State's Government House to cover his dirty deals. There is no hiding place. Judgment day is here!. These group of Afenifere elders are bread and butter elders. Blind to the truth and call sell their conscience for a glass of champagne.

|

@ poster Don't be deceived. This issue you look at so ordinary is a serious one. Don't let anybody furnish you with the idea that when you both marry, you will go to your church while she goes to her church. It's rubbish. What type of family do you want to breed. When the children start coming, Is it that you share you denomination among them. Love is about making sacrifices. If you both cannot make this sacrifice, i wonder and I'm surprised your girl is insisting she'll not change when married. This is just one out of many hurdles she'll be facing. If she can't make this sacrifice how does she intend making other sacrifices and critical decisions when married. Where is the love? People do things for the sake of love afterall you are not a muslim. Guy, there is nothing like you and your wife sharing the same faith, belief e.t.c That's why I advise you to clarify these issues before proceeding. There are faithful, loyal yoruba girls in your church. Shine your eye. |
Can't you people simply condemn the act of moving 1 million ballots without any kind of security? Even a blind man can see that these ballots can be a rigging tool.
Let's hope the riggers don't make it too blatant on Saturday because scary things will happen if they do. According to Jega, ballot snatching was most rampant in Bayelsa, Delta, Imo states (PDP strongholds), last Saturday. Let's hope they don't try these risky acts elsewhere next Saturday. Our nation is quite frigile at this point in time, all hands must be on deck to checkmate rigging by any party.
I have read your post but there is nothing that has shown that these ballot papers were to be used by PDP. Why cast aspersions. We all know what happened in Lagos State (AC), Anambra State (APGA). These are not PDP state but rigging in those states were massive. Why embark on this type of propaganda to campign for your party. Desist from this act or are you one of the false sahara reporters. How much were you paid by CPC. Buhari will surely embark on a rigging spree if given the opportunity. We don't buy your lies and your false report. |

It is pity that after the clamor by Nigerian during Yardua sickness and death for you thinking you are that breathe of fresh air we want or might need has come to with a the highest rate of disappointment.
Was it your quick dismissal of MEND for the October 1st bombing and the dirty political tricks played after which ( text message involving IBB and his campaign team or the denial that Henry Okah was never the leader of MEND which SS court have since confirmed he runs MEND)
Is It the clueless campaign speeches you have been given wrong the country. In Ilorin "I will eradicate poverty in Nigeria" my answer to that is, For 6 yrs, u never did that in Bayelsa which currently registered 500k voters now you want eradicate poverty in the whole Nigeria and i could remember that u never said how. In Ukwa you said " myself and my VP will not let the Nigerian Youth down and deliver our promises" -- what are the promises? how do u wanted achieve your promises? and you already let us down by not attending that only Youth oriented Debate in the history of the Nation, Instead, You went KOKOing with the KOKO Master, Dancing Away our Future.
Is it the shunning of NN24 debate, really i would not have been bothered about this if not the recent development in the BON debate, The whole nation knew that 29th was the debate, BON published it and i guess it was only your invitation that stated 30th of March. Was it becos it was not Don jazzy and Aki and Paw Paw that hosted the debate on the 29th?

dearzi: As a woman, I’m totally offended to read about exchanging/ trading sex for favors and gifts in a relationship. I wish to God that women/ ladies/ girls (all things female) will have more sense of worth than that.
As for the poster, he’s allowed to feel how he feels. There’s nothing wrong with making an investment in the life of the one you plan on spending your future with; as with all plans, if it goes awry it’ll hurt, so the man is entitled to his feelings.
@ Meldrick: You’re entitled to your feelings, but you need to thank God for showing you who you’re just about to making future commitments with! Marriage is not easy, now imagine having a flaky wife and an equally flaky mother-in-law, trust me, you don’t want that. My advice, look for an independent woman, one who fears God, knows herself, and very importantly, is making some small money on the side! All the best Thank you so much for you matured comments and words of encouragement. By his Grace, I'm getting over it even though it's not easy but reading comments like yours, I realize there are still ladies with a sense of worth and understand the word Dignity and IntegrityUjujoan: I'm sorry honey, but you can't eat your cake and have . . . . but we can! .
