This is the wisest decision Roman has made in a very long while. I never new he still has senses. I thought his senses revolves round throwing 50 million pounds on rusted players.

Oyedepo and all the other pastors are now gods? I thought them mere mortals who can fall anytime any day too shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked
Don't type because your hand is scratching you. Open your sense and understand. READ and understand. I never has called Oyedepo a God. My write up will surely be difficult for you to assimilate. You need to step up.

u see , the ways of God will only be mysterious to men. I don't question the wealth possessed by any man of God. Who am I to do that? I leave them to their God.
I acknowledge the part of the bible that says, the earth's the Lords and it's foolness therein. If you father possesses the earth then why struggling with poverty. My advise to you is to stop judging men og God, there's always a consequence.

Bill Gates worked to produce products since he was 13, struggled to sell that product to people for years, to get where he is today.  What similar accomplishment, if any does this pastor and others who are considered richest in the world boast of?
Bill gates will not even brag of hardwork the way you are bragging on his behalf. Listen to his interviews.
Remember, except the Lord builds a house, the labourer loabour in vain. Even Bill Gates acknowledges that all wisdom cometh from God.

Kobojunkie:
Here are more direct questions for you.

a) How much does the pastor give himself as salary each year?

b) How much are his expenses and how does he justify them?

c) What fraction of monthly take ins go to actually tending to the poor in the immediate communities around the many churches?

d) What service do these churches offer and how often?
How do you expect me to know the pastor's salary. I don't nose into what doesn't concern me just the way you are nosing into Oyedepo's affair to know how much he earns as salary, the type of food he eats and how much he has in his account. That's not your business.
Secondly, when he gives , he is not accountable to you so don't expect him to start telling you those he has helped and those he intends helping.

Imagine the above in a pastor's profile? What does that say of people like Bill gates who worked hard for every single penny?
So because he is a man of God, he should live from hand to mouth. You will feel celebrated seeing men of God begging you for food to eat. Only Bill gates is working, they are not working. shhhh

David Mark goes to church. Obasanjo is still a Christian. You think going to church gives you morals, teaches you how to treat people right, how to lead a people in integrity,, please one doesn't need to attend a church to have morals or even to be 'saved'. Of what use is being saved if you can't treat people right?

Most of Oyedepo's church members can't pay his university's school fees? TRUE or FALSE
Most of Oyedepo's church members are still waiting on God for cars? TRUE or FALSE
Even if his money is legit, as one who preaches love and peace and fairness, is it MORAL for him to have four PRIVATE jets? YES or NO
Do you know the POPE doesn't have a private jet?
Do you realise that with the number of members that fill up pews across the country, the church can single-handedly change the story of NIGERIA if it can sponsor PEOPLE of integrity into relevant positions?

If you blame a member's poverty on 'his faith no strong', how does that correlate with Jesus saying 'if your faith is as small as a mustard seed'?

As Joyce Meyer said 'Staying in a church won't make me a Christian, just like sleeping in a garage won't make one a car',

Maybe we need to go back to the LOVE scriptures, that's what JESUS was all about.

I'm not saying Oyedepo should not flex  grin, or not be prosperous, but a little moderation on his part would help a lot,
Yes it's not about going to church. I agree and that's why the bible talks of not just been the hearer of the word but also been the doer but you must have forgotten the part of the bible that talks about not forsakeen the gathering of believers. You must have also forgotten that your going to church is not for any man but your own spiritual edification. You also must have forgotten that when you go to church, you do not go to seek the face of man but God. You must also have forgotten that your so-called Obasanjo and David Mark are not those you should look unto neither should they be your models but our Lord Jesus Christ.
You must have also forgotten of the children that mocked Prophet Elijah in the bible and he cursed them, the consequence was fatal. You must also have forgotten David's wife who mocked him for dancing to the Lord, she became barren for life. Don't be too forward and quick to judge men of God because you have never been appointed a judge over them neither are you worthy of judging them. A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE
My personal story.

I once stepped into Christ embassies white house. The building is just behind the Church complex. I was astonished by the share wealth and extravagant furnishing in the building. I couldn't believe that was what my little contributions as tithes and donations go to.
It was way beyond an average wealthy man's taste.
I simply can't describe how astonished i was.
I walked right past the lobby up until the 3rd floor. I guess it was miracle on my part. God simply revealed to me the stupendous wealth and lavish living of most of these pastors. I hardly go to church now cuz to me , they are nothing more than money making ventures.
Then i heard this story which was true. About Bishop Oyedepo trying to evade Ghanaian Tax laws by stuffing vehicles tires with hard currencies and drove then all the way to Nigeria. I was hugely disappointed.
I pity you. You hardly go to church now. So your going to church was to celebrate your pastor's wretched state but you were dissapointed to see he was doing well and living life to the fullest. You were going to church to look at man not God. You're in trouble oh. Stay at home because they will keep prospering and your going to church really has no effect on the church of God. Now you sit at to home to feast on hear say. I hear say this, I hear say that. Did you see the money in the tyres. shhhhh

you seem really jobless.
Instead of you to think of how to better your life and look for a job to enable you put food on your table, you are researching on another man who is doing his own job.

Keep researching on irrelevant subjects. We are looking for researchers for the cure of various life threatning ailments, you are researching rubbish. One day you will reasearch about some hot slaps on that have landed your face

Politics › Re: Delta State Gubernatorial Elections by Meldrick(m): 12:57pm On Apr 28, 2011
shalom1234:
I am a full fledged Deltan and it is indeed very SAD the way a few selfish people are going on about this Delta election.
For the records, Delta state is made up of a number of tribes: Ibo, Ijaw, Itshekiri, Isoko and Urhobo. The Urhobos since 1991 that the state was created were ruling until 2007 when Uduaghan from the minority came to power.

Felix Ibru was the first executive Governor, then came Ibori, both are from the Urhobo tribe, it is a common knowledge in Delta State that
1.the Urhobos claim to be the real/original  owners of Delta State and MUST continue to hold on to the centre

2. They said Asaba can have the centre but all development will be taken to places like Sapele, Ugheli, Effurun etc and we actually saw that in action.

The only reason it appears Ogboru has some kind of spread is because of the internal wrangling in Delta PDP, outside of that, all minority groups in Delta have decided that the Urhobos will not come back until all other tribes have had their turns In as much as some of us believe strongly in merit, we do not agree that Ogboru is the right person for Delta State but he's being promoted by the Urhobos and those PDP members who felt aggreived and decided to dump PDP for DPP simply becuase they feel they can achieve their goals through that platform and not because they believe so much in Ogboru's candidacy,

Uduaghan may also not be the best candidate for Delta but he hasn't done anything to warrant this kind of HATE which is oozing out from the Urhobos. The hate is so so obvious that it's beginning to send wrong signals to other tribes that the Urhobos are noly out to perpetuate themselves in power and nothing else and that is why Ogboru has only won big in mostly Urhobo LGAs while Uduaghan has a better spread cutting accross all the tribes in Delta State.

We all are condeming the old generation but we are also allowing them to rub off on us negatively if we continue to throw objectivity to the dustbin all because things have not gone in our favour. We need to break away from this mentality because it will not help anyone.
May God bless you. You are very sincere in your comment. You have a true knowledge of what's happening in Delta State. Uduaghan has defeated Ogboru three times in an election and he will defeat him anyday. The haters can go sit on a hot stove if they are uncomfortable with this victory.
