dodoniyi:it depends, what if it's an arts gallery? |
smakati:with the level of unemployment in the country, he has chosen to be a career student. lol |
talk of dressing, President sef, must he wear a cap with his initials? that's what u get when u ve clueless people organising things for u. |
it's said spare the rod and spoil the child. Nigerian politicians have been spared the rod for too long, now everything is spoilt. we need to be disciplined and discipline some people. why is the "opposition" causing all the trouble and and u (federal government) can't use the cane on anyone? |
some comments made my day, like "the thunder that will fire... peeling melon..." anyway, it's one of those things we put up with for being a church member. yesterday I went for a 7.30 - 10am service, boy by 12 noon, my pastor was still warming his way through..... by 1pm I left (as it was obvious he was heading to 2pm) for other engagements. at times some pastors are not time conscious or considerate of other people's.... |
Why are we splitting hair? whether man is a spirit, has a soul and lives in a body, then what? we should rather think of how they, (man, spirit, soul) can be made to 'be' in sync? I think that trinity (man, spirit, soul) is to reflect the God-head (father, son, holy spirit), and other triplicates. |
'Confronting' sounds like u are calling for a fight or something. the condoms are just evidence a 'crime' was committed, but by who? As a guy a male friend may ask to use ur apartment for such clandestine act once in a while. what sane guy would be that sloppy with his lady's introduction around the corner? As suggested, it's better to talk it out with him without the 'confronting'. besides, u've known him 2 years, are there other telltale signs/events that occurred in past to justify he might be the culprit in this case? PS: it's not about men being polygamous or monogamous, it's about the nature of the person u are with. some men are inherently polygamous but are boxed in by societal norms. If ''variety is the spice of life'' does that make men polygamous (cheats)? |
there is no repercussion whatsoever, in as much as u know urself and ur God. as I type this from church, ask me if I feel any emotional involvement not to talk of spiritual involvement in the jamboree that's going on. it's a social gathering for raising money for the upkeep of a few (pastors). ur personal relationship with ur God is what matters, not ur membership in a gathering of people. |
the ban i suppose is to enable our hypocrites enjoy the movie first in the privacy of their rooms ![]() |
make una no vex ooo... it's been a while i heard any comment from Gov Akpabio, is he out of circulation? with all these issues raging in PDP and around the President, he (Akpabio) being who he is ought to add some flavour. ![]() |
Why is it that the PDP, the ruling party & controller of the Federal Government, is picking holes in all that INEC is doing regarding the forthcoming elections? Is it not the PDP controlled Federal Government that mandated INEC to conduct a free, fair & credible election? is it not the PDP controlled Federal Government through the President that said corruption will be fought using technology? Why are they against INEC's use of card reader technology in a bid to checkmate rigging at the polls? I tire oooo |
I dey laugh oooo |
what a life! some years ago Buhari led Nigeria army to chased insurgents into Chad, today Chad army chased insurgents back into Nigeria. |
every day a nail is added to the PDP coffin. Burial arrangements as announced by INEC still holds Febuhari 14 |
HNosegbe:I don't think GMB is running away from the debate, afterall if you recall he attended the debate during 2011 elections that GEJ did not attend (only to organize and debate himself alone). |
it will be interesting to see the court judge this case when other forgery cases are still pending in court. case in point: Frank Okon vs Gov. Godswill Akpabio |
chigomiced:that's hard labour |
[KJV] Daniel 11:32 ...but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. the above quote made no mention of Jehovah, elohim, Zeus, Amon Ra, Ogun, Abasi, Allah, etc, but that knowing your GOD, by whatever name called, you will be strong and do exploits. the Chinese are not a Christian people but they are leaders in technology, they still hold fast unto their traditional religion and beliefs, same with the Indians; they have transformed their knowledge of traditional medicine into modern medical applications. let's not digress too much from the OP |
I was shocked that Punch accepted that advert on their front page. Is that advert becoming of a Christian? why stoop that low in the name of political campaign? |
the way 'we' argue at times shows how shallow 'we' reason. if a medical report that is meant to be confidential is published to discredit an opponent, what does that say of 'us'? we should judge GMB or GEJ based on performance in leadership. |
na wa ooo.... Going by GEJ's speech, it means 'they' (our former Presidents and Heads of State) did not do anything tangible in their time. it leaves a bad taste in the mouth to even think that GEJ made those comments; is government not continuous? is it not the same Nigerian army that succeeded in peacekeeping missions in previous administrations that have so far failed to defeat boko haram? i thought campaign is to say what you achieved and what you intend to achieve. Why would a PhD holder stoop so low with intent to rubbish a 'semi-illiterate' 'Abok!'? |
we claim to be Christians and better than our ancestors, yet corruption and moral decadence is the order of the day, even in churches. I was telling my friends the other day, that if in Nigeria, political office holders are sworn into office using our traditional religious rites, corruption would be non existent. after all the bible says, ...but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. (Dan 11:32) Are we a strong people? |
plaetton:if one can reason without sentiments it would be obvious that religion and science are not opposing each other. if ''It is God's privilege to conceal things and the king's privilege to discover them (Prov 25:2)NLT'' how is scientific discoveries disproving the existence of God? lets not forget that once upon a time science and religion were not separate fields. after all ''The Father of Modern Genetics," Gregor Mendel was an Austrian monk it is said that the scriptures were written in parables (coded), science is only decoding. ''...He set eternity in their hearts...'' (Ecclesiastes 3:11) The human DNA has been decoded, has it occurred to us yet what science will do with that information? |
