Thank you so much, this was successful. I used the GTBank airline ticket payment to make payment affect booking. Waiting on confirmation.

I am so grateful

it's because you're in canada so by default it is using the Canada's version of the website. Use this
https://www.lufthansa.com/ng/en/homepage
You should then see a Pay at office option during checkout.
If that still doesn't work, then it may be IP issues. You can then tell anyone in Nigeria to book the reservation for you via pay at office option.

LANDING GIST
Part 1

So my journey to London Ontario started on Saturday night (11pm) via Lufthansa airlines

I arrived at muritala mohammed airport around 7:30pm. My family was allowed to go in with me until the last point
My luggages were all within the right weight so I didn’t have to pay for any extra fees.

The First Lady checked my enrollment letter, passport and Vaccination card. Then I proceeded to check in my luggages, I was given a yellow card which I filled immediately. After filling the card, I started to chill with my family, took some photos, said my goodbyes, then proceeded to one long immigration queue like that.

When I got to the officer, he asked for my passport, also asked for the address of where I’ll be staying in Canada. He stamped my passport then I went to the next step where I had to take off all metallic objects on me, brought out my laptop, camera, ring light , PlayStation etc

I took some time here cause the machine kept sending me back lol…
After about 15mins, I eventually passed them I proceed to my airline where I was asked for my boarding pass, I had to wait for my group, which was group 6.

Eventually, I boarded the flight to Frankfurt Germany which lasted for 6 hours 30mins. The experience was amazing, cool, with good food, movies etc. the only issue was that I didn’t know I had to pay for Wi-Fi…. I thought it came with the ticket.
Lol don’t mind me, it’s my first time

Hello All,

Please has anyone purchased Lufthansa ticket before with naira? if yes please what did you have to do? I know GTBank does something like that but it needs booking reference first and I can't reserve it?

Thanks

Hello,
please I am not sure what you mean by SOP. I didn't use any SOP in applying for her. This are the documents:
Application form
my statement of account as I am sponsoring everything
Letter of invitation
My student permit
Her passport
National ID
Her past visas and travel history to US and UK.

Is it possible to see your SOP?
Thank you.

Hi,
You can send your passport to vfs London for stamping, you just pay transfer fee can't recall how much. it's pretty straightforward. It's not right to remain in UK and send your passport to Nigeria. You can chat vfs London up they will tell u how much to pay.

Canadaboyk:
It’s ppr guys! I don’t know if anyone remember me when I came ranting in pain sometime last year October..but please let’s never give up. I was denied on the 29th of October 2021 based on financial and personal asset which I clearly stated here that it doesn’t make any sense based on the substantial evidence I submitted to prove ownership of every tangible assets I own which is also in my name ranging from houses to lands, more than 18 mill in the account that has been there for two years, first term school fees paid etc. after the refusal I applied for my gcms note but put in a new application before it came out and noticed I was misinterpreted as I clearly stated I was the sole sponsor but when I saw what was written on my application I was totally disappointed because it was an error on their side stating my parents were sponsoring which I never made mention of…. I reapplied immediately on the 30th of October with a new Loe, used the court stamp on every documents submitted earlier, added more assets to the application and even cars lol.

Timeline
First student visa application July 19th 2021
Denial 29th of October 2021
Reapplied 30th of October 2021
Medical passed 17th of February 2022
Correspondence and ppr letter 2nd of March 2022

My problem now is I applied for the uk visa November which I got in December and committed 7k pounds to get the admission, CAS and what have you. I’m currently in the uk, classes began last week.. can I send my passport to vsf in London or I have to waybill it back to Nigeria to get it stamped. And if London is possible, how can I go about it getting the passport stamped? Thank you for your guidance.

Just to touch on your number 1 point as this isn't true. A minor who has a parent on study permit can attend any public school in Canada. The only thing needed is a visiting visa to enter, upon arrival when the mother is issued the study permit the children are then issue a visitors record which is enough with their mothers permits to attend school.

makano:
Hello Jacklens

1. Every student that isn't a Canadian citizen or whose parents are not permanent residents need a study permit to study in Canada...

2. You don't have to be a Canadian or a permanent resident before you can apply for SOWP . So far you have a status (international student) in Canada you can apply for SOWP for your partner outside Canada...

Peace

Landing Gist

I know alot of people would need this info, so I am taking time to share despite being exhausted.
Came in from Manchester to Toronto today.
Departure: Covid test and ArriveCan
Arrival first stage: Name of school, and if I am excited. ArriveCAN which I filled out already
Arrival second stage: Name of school, how many years is my program enrollment letter(gave admission and tuition receipt). Study Permit printed in 10mins while I took my daughter to restroom. Upon my return she realised she had to do their visitor record (they areUS citizen), so that took a while I waited. She didn't even ask me if I was vaccinated or not I had to ask herat what point is the covid test before she recalled she didn't ask ( I already had all I needed then). Never ask for spouses consent.

I was deliberate to pray for ease and God did exactly that. No one asked for my quarantine plan, but I already filled it in Arrive CAN

Proceeded to test, after baggage claim.( I filled the switchhealth prior so I jumped queue,God bless the lady that pointed this out.

Even my school rep was worried I was coming too early but I was ready to proof my reasons, since quarantine is 2weeks I cant afford to be housesearching around Christmas, but no one cared.

Safe flight to everyone getting ready. If you have ay questions I would return to respond.

When you apply through the new IRCC portal they state that they will finalize applications within 14-30 business days. Both of them are fully vaccinated. I included their vaccine cards along with the application.

From my little knowledge I know people often times just send to the usual likely offices, you can send to Nairobi, copy lagos, London. If it's not them handling it they will usually say so especially London.

Please where did u see they now handle applications in 30days? Are your parents vaccinated? I need to apply for my mum asap but waiting for her passport.

Thanks

Hello,
I applied for my mum's visit visa on Sep 30 & my dad on Oct 1(i didn't combine the applications because I felt my dad being retired had a weaker profile and I need my mum as I just had a baby).
I had previously applied for them back in March, but reapplied after IRCC more or less suggested I do so (sent them a dm on twitter which the responded to).
Anyways, last week my mum received BVL, and her eligibility review was also initiated but I am yet to hear anything else from them and it's almost been 30 business days (their timeline for new applications). This morning, my dad received PPR along with his BVL and a part of me is worried that the visa officer forgot to attach my mum's PPR (you never know with these people smiley).
I want to send a case enquiry but I do not know which office is processing her application. What do you advise I choose; Accra or Lagos. Also, should I just call them as I am the representative for her application?

Were you approved or Delayed?

Also was it Visa Officer AH03849 that handled your application..
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by mercy445: 3:38pm On Oct 30, 2021
I applied for my gcms note close to my PPR, it was meant to come in October 15, but it says it's delayed I don't know why. I just took a quick look at my last gcms note, this Officer assigned my file to someone else. I hope this helps a little.

All the best to everyone waiting.

Hello House

Of recent, we have been having complaints of this particular Visa Officer (AH03849), of how he/she refuses applications for no just reasons.. I do not wanna believe this Visa Officer is all about refusals, so I want us to do our home work as regards his/her operation and it will take our cooperation here to achieve this..

Now, this goes to the applicants here that were approved, and this will be like a give back from you to the thread that has helped you get your Visa. Now please order for your GCMS notes and when its ready share with us on this thread, let us see if this is the same Visa Officer(AH03849) that approved your application or not...

With this, we will also know if this particular Visa Officer is in charge of Nigerian applicants.. I know the approved applicants will say what is the point of ordering my GCMS notes when I have already gotten my Visa, please note you are doing the good of this thread that has blessed you with so much information prior to the time you got your Visa..

On behalf of this thread, I appeal to the approved applicants here to order for their GCMS notes, so we can carry this survey on the operation of this particular Visa Offier..

I know these Officers are watching us here, so let us make a point..

Peace

If your children are US citizens you don't need to apply for a study Permit for then. Once your wives permit is stamped your children will go to school on hers they just need visitors record which is the stamp they get in their passport at POE.

All the best

Also am getting a little confused on how to go with my 3 yrs old boy as he cant apply for visiting visa with a US passports..

*Should i just do the upfront medicals for him, insert in my application and shred light of it on LOE or..what u feel?

- Structural putting my funds together, i have a slightly similar case with you ( 3 children)...What do you feel is a safe POF(in Naira) for my family's application?

-Or should i just use all their Nigerian Passport and Apply?

Landing gist 1
Travelled on Wednesday 20th October, 2021 to Regina via Lufthansa airline
Flight was slated for 10:55pm. Arrived airport at 6:30pm in time for check in. My family was let in without any fuss ( they probably assumed we were all travelling together)

We were told the scanning machine at the entrance wasn't working so they had to check the bag manually. I dropped small change (please don't judge me. I will repent it took days to pack the bags and I couldn't imagine having to rearrange it)

Got to the queue and the lady to check our documents was confused on how I was travelling with my 2 kids as they don't have a visa. I tried explaining to her that US citizens do not require one. She was being unreasonable but luckily her supervisor came and sorted things out. Took their passports and copies of birth certificates as well as the ArriveCAN receipt which included their details to go make some "confirmations" He came back and gave the all clear. Covid result was checked. I printed out the Lagos State results but was told the acceptable one is the one issued by the lab. I had downloaded the soft copies of that and the officer was gracious enough to scan it from my phone.I cellowrapped our bags at 1k each. We got our boarding passes and I hung out with my family for a while before proceeding to immigration clearance and all.

Flight was on time. (I don't know who told Lufthansa I am a vegetarian ) They served vegetarian pasta. It was quite tasty and my kids who are picky eaters enjoyed it. The flight wasn't fully booked. We were in the middle aisle that seats 4 but luckily no one was assigned the 4th seat.

We arrived Frankfurt and went through immigration. Not much activity here other than waiting for 6hours plus for our connecting flight. Visited McDonald's with my little humans. My Naira Mastercard from Gtbank didn't disappoint.

Flight to Toronto was next. Pleasant (we got a window seat yay!!!) Arrived at Toronto and attempted to do the self scanning and filling before proceeding to the officer at the qiosk but I kept getting an error message (the camera refused to snap my black face) I proceeded to the officer in the kiosk. He was very polite, ( everyone who attended to us from flight attendants, immigration officers etc were very polite and helpful)I was directed to another room where we stayed on an incredibly long queue. When it got to our turn, the officer collected my passport and those of my kids, asked for my admission letter and also asked if I had my spouse's consent to have the kids stay with me for the entire duration of my studies. I answered in the affirmative and showed him a consent letter my husband had written plus copies of their birth certificates and his passport data page. We were asked to seat and shortly after called forward to pick up my permit and visitor records for my kids.  He said the visitor's record makes it possible for them to attend school. Next I had to pass the maze for those who have items to declare (foodstuff) I told them my bags would be going directly to Regina (that was what I was told in Lagos) the yellow sheet was collected from me. When I got to the baggage claim area it was confirmed the bags had been checked in directly.
We proceeded to the gate for our connecting flight to Regina via Air Canada. The flight was on time. The plane was the smallest I have ever been on (so narrow) with two seats on each side hand, hand luggage couldn't fit into overhead locker so I put it underneath the chairs in front. Flight wasn't full and the seat beside me was empty so we got 2 window seats.
Arrived Regina safely at 10:04pm Regina Time which is 5:04am Naija time and since our flight was so late our bags were part of the last in the baggage claim area. The cello wrap I put on them were still intact and no one bothered me. Got a trolley (at no cost) to push them. My friend picked us up from the airport. It was cold!!!

To be continued...

I pray for all those who are hopeful...your expectations will not be cut short I Jesus name. AMEN!!!

A big thank you to my amazing ladies @lianna2020 abi na @ lianna2020 and @EverGrateful. These ladies can ginger for Africa. God bless you immensely!!!
