Whhere is the corpse now?
Is she still in the morgue or has she been buried?

Biafra has an intelligence unit that is far more competent than zoo intelligence. They smuggled Kanu out. They should smuggle him back in for burial. No need to beg zoo to allow him in.
Politics › Lauretta Onochie Tells Nnamdi Kanu To Apply For "Zoo Visa" by MetaPhysical(op): 4:15am On Oct 30, 2019
Lauretta Onochie, President Buhari’s special assistant on social media has reacted to calls from Igbo monarch, appealing to the Federal Government to allow the leader of proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu to return to Nigeria for the burial his mother, Sally, without molestation.

Recall that monarchs in Orlu, Imo state, pleaded with the presidency to allow the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, to return to the country to bury his late mum.

Presidency, while reacting to the plea, through Lauretta Onochie, directed Kanu to apply for a zoo visa through the Nigerian High Commission in London and wait for approval.

Lauretta, who spoke via her Twitter handle, concluded by asking if Kanu was deported in the first instance.

She wrote;

Monarchs in Orlu, Imo State have reportedly begged President Buhari to allow Nnamdi Kanu, to come to Nigeria to bury his mother. He should go to the Nigerian High commission London Apply for a Zoo Visa, And wait for approval Nonsense! Was he deported from Nigeria?

Before we can support Igbo presidency, we need to be sure that Igbo leaders have learned to respect and carry leaders’ only legitimate and most reliable strength, the youth and masses, along. Otherwise the Igbo leadership will end up producing an Okoro-Hausa president in 2023 that will finally halt Nigeria’s search for progress and development. If Igbo leadership had respected and carried her youth and masses along, the mistakes of IPOB that has become a threat to the Igbo nation’s integrity could have been avoided. The Yoruba elders are in control and in full command of OPC from behind the scene because the Yoruba leaders are carrying their youth and masses along. This is a lesson the Igbo leadership must learn so that the East and West of Southern Nigerian leaders with the support of their youths and masses can form a synergy to counter the East and West of Northern Nigerian’s leadership supposed homogeneity that had sustained a Kaduna Mafia in the past and now sustains a cabal. This homogeneity is not founded on any principles of equity and justice, but on common personal selfish agenda that denies even their people basic qualities of life. Now is the time to evolve a simple strategy that will bring about justice and equity in Nigeria for the benefits of Nigerians North and South. As it stands today, every Nigerian is a loser and Okoro-Hausa president in 2023 will make Nigerian’s situation to become irredeemable.

Politics › Re: Snare Of Made-in Northern-Nigeria Igbo President by MetaPhysical(op): 4:07am On Oct 30, 2019
Third term agenda was sold to Obasanjo by northern leaders as a way to delay his intended putting Nigeria in a progressive mode which the northern leadership felt was detrimental and harmful to their interest irrespective of how it would have benefited northern masses. With third term as an ambush, the northern leadership lured Obasanjo into delaying his intention to return Nigeria to its former glory as it could cost him the supposed third term ambition’s support from the North. When Obasanjo became obsessed with the idea, the same northern leadership came to the southern leaders and reported against Obasanjo’s ambition for third term and solicited support to kill it.

Obasanjo did not reposition Nigeria on the path of justices and equity nor place her in motion for progress despite two terms as president because he was waiting for third term. He still did not get his third term ambition and Nigeria continued to wobble to the detriment of the South, Middle Belt and northern masses.

When Jonathan came to power, Obasanjo approached him with the truth over a second term ambition that could derail his intention to strengthen up Nigeria, and asked him to do everything he has to do for Nigeria to move forward in his first term and leave second term to providence. Jonathan and his presidential team saw this advice as Obasanjo’s uninvited instruction to destroy Jonathan’s political career, and cut him off from the president. And Jonathan did not reposition Nigeria for better nor did he get a second term after pleasing the northern leadership with his first term to the detriment of the South, Middle Belt, and northern masses.

These scenarios are most unlikely with a Yoruba president in 2023 with home support which Obasanjo did not have. A home-boy Yoruba president will be more committed to protecting his name, family and tribe more than personal wealth especially when he has the examples of Awolowo versus Akintola to learn from. Therefore, he will enter Aso Rock with the zeal to make name as the liberator of Nigerian masses from the oppression of a cabal that has held them hostage for decades. He will go for history to recognize him as the father of Modern Nigeria and the one that created the march to progress of a new Nigeria where all sectors of the country compete for better quality of life. He will go for a name for his future generations. Above all he will have total and absolute support of his people that will become his strength in achieving this noble objective.

As a precursor for the northern agenda of planting Igbo president of their choice in Aso Rock, the Igbo leadership has been bullied into pouring abuses on their sons and daughters in the name of denying and castigating IPOB because the northern leadership has demanded for such as prerequisite for giving any consideration to Igbo presidency. Since the inception of OPC from far back Abacha’s time, no single Yoruba leader has abused OPC leadership; rather their leader has been elevated to the highest military title of the land.

But the Igbo leadership is very ready to sell her heritage in exchange for a pot of tuwo in other to gain favour to produce Nigerian president. The northern leadership knows that for this country to take a progressive march, a full blooded Igbo or Yoruba man or woman with full support of Nigerians needs to take over Aso Rock and be fully in charge.
Politics › Snare Of Made-in Northern-Nigeria Igbo President by MetaPhysical(op): 4:07am On Oct 30, 2019
Chigbu Okoroafor

The sound of restructure or dissolve Nigeria has now become too loud for the core north to ignore. And certainly they are not ignoring it. A digression must be created, they have reasoned, and a very suitable one has emerged for that matter. A northern president of Nigeria emerging from 2023 election will set their harvest field, Southern Nigeria, aflame.

They are now converging on option B – Igbo presidency, believing it to be an agenda that will put Yorubas on high level of presidential pursuit and diminish their pursuit of Restructure or Dissolve Nigeria agenda. While on the other hand, it will entice and persuade Igbos to abandon support for separation and cause their leaders, who are already very hungry for the presidency, to become subservient to northern leaders in exchange for support for Igbo president. In all, it will scatter the Southern/ Middle Belt alliance and the struggle for a better and equitable Nigeria.

This is the northern leaders’ permutation.

In their calculation, a Yoruba president will be too independent and strong minded; will go for his people and general interest of Nigerians without preference for the North; will command absolute support and protection from his people. He will be a bad choice for the sustenance of a sectional agenda.

Their game plan is to avoid the so-called full blooded Igbos and crown one of the feeble Igbo that have demonstrated absolute loyalty and spirit of servitude to the northern leadership, as the president of Nigeria come 2023. This is the option B the North is converging upon as alternative to remaining in power beyond 2023. And such men abound in Igbo land. I don’t need to mention their names because we all know them.

They have ruled and ruined their states.

They have represented their people in different capacity and denied them their rights and benefits. Some of them have even started implementing the RUGA programme in their states as reported in newspapers.

Northern Nigeria made Igbo president will come to hurt Nigerian masses worse than having an outright northern president. The damage this presidency will bring to Southern Nigeria and Middle Belt, if allowed to happen, will be worse than what was witnessed when Obasanjo’s regime wasted an opportunity to reposition this country on the path of progress. Developing an escape roadmap from this snare must start now and should involve all progressive Nigerians from both North and South. The battle is not for or against the people of Southern or Northern Nigeria but against a cabal that has held both the North and South down. A concrete strategy to counter this sinister ploy, that will give more impetus to and concentration of resources on restructuring the country should be the ideal response now.

Not really. International law says that when a country is in entitled to a sea corridor if it is within 60 nautical miles of the sea. I know for a fact that parts of Imo and Bia are less than 20 nautical miles from the sea.

In the event that Biafra is declared, Nigeria is bound by Article 125 of the United Nation Convention On Laws Of The Sea(UNCLOS) to provide Biafra with a Sea corridor to move goods and humans. This is international law which if Nigeria breaks, Biafra will not only have the right to take Nigeria to court, Biafra will also have the to apply to the United Nation to place sanctions on Nigeria for breaking international law.
You are applying for recognition under indegenity rules for native people. Are you not aware of this?

So, once you are granted right of indigeneous independence you will be excluded from infringing or accessing or occupying or having claims to native lands and indigeneous groups outside Biafra.

The entry waters from sea up the delta into the hinterland belong to a indigeneous people and they are not Biafrans.

Those indigenes have claims like you do to have their space respected and excluded from your access.

Beside, even if you are given access, we will build gates at the sea entrance and toll your ships in and out.

You and I not new to each other over this topic of defining Yoruba.

If you ask ten Yorubas of different subgroup about the root of their monarchies every one of them will point to Ife and Oduduwa. No conflict.

If you ask same people the meaning of Yoruba you will get ten different accounts each in conflict with next.

This is a challenge for people like you and I and others in Culture to revive that topic on Yoruba Origin then invite Yorubas to step in and learn. We need consistent answer on Yoruba and what it means.

Saying no government actions or regulations are needed because people know not to litter is the dumbest rubbish ever. Personal hygiene within your confines is your responsibility, but when it deteriorates and is affecting the general public or causing environmental safety issues, it is the government's job to step in to either fin you, force you to make corrections or put a lean on your house till you make corrections or even send you to jail.

Public spaces are strictly government responsibility, but people don't care even though he's saying people know not to dirty the environment when in fact, people do regardless because they are either dirty, lazy or just don't care, this is why governments have and enforce environmental laws, sanitation laws and littering laws to protect the general public from filth and polluted environment.
Oga, i said this already. grin
I kept repeating to people to read my previous posts so the whole point can become clear.

I did say in an earlier post that Govt can do that but they will not. The reason they wont is because those affected will cry out and accuse governor of inhuman treatment. Other citizens will bandwagon and join in in. No one would stand reasonably in defense of government.

If govt steps out to do sanitation exercise, using the same template it used in the 50s and 60s....many buildings and shops in Lagos will be condemned.

Look, Fashola was to ban okada. The outcry caused him to back off. That was just okada. Imagine when govt put stickers in mold infested houses and shops and ask occupants to vacate.

People like you will come out and talk negative of govt....instead of standing up for it. grin

There is always a reason for something. There was a reason Ambode was made to become the governor of Lagos state over other several contenders, who are as close to Tinubu as himself.
There are reasons why Ambode decided to run a state on his own by bullshiting the power brokers who painstakingly put him in power while overlooking other interests.
Ambode is a man who got to the top and forget the ladder that he used for the climbing.
There is always an important person's whose role and influence in any community or organisation is always can not just be overlooked.
Ambode kicks himself into political obscurity.

The truth is that intranational and international migrations are part of economic dynamics of human society.

The people people coming into Lagos swells its population and its economy. From Alaba, Ladipo to Aspamda the traders have made money and developed Ojo area of Lagos. The numerous companies owned by people from other states boost Lagos state economy. Innoson was along Oshodi Expressway briefly before relocating to Nnewi.

You see, Lagos has seaport, international airport and federal capital territory status long before Abuja. Unfortunately, military governments and lately past democratically elected governments did little in developing many other cities across Nigeria or linking them through railways.
So why single out Lagos in your earlier post? Perharps you should not have expanded the discussion to planning because you will expose inadequacies of other states whose citizens constitute the problem Lagos is battling.

On the issue of capital city. It is an excuse, again to absolve other states of their liabilities in Lagos. New York has never been capital of US. Chicago, Philly, Boston....all these cities draw more attraction and migration than Washington DC.

Rivers has port and rail system. In fact Cross River hosted the first capital of Nigeria and has ports but density and pressure on Calabar City is far less than the pressure on just Broad Street, Lagos alone.....not to mention the whole Lagos City.

Put things into proper perspective and reason them out well before posting, please.

Why are Governors in other states not making efforts to keep their people from leaving? This should be the question to ask....

Every society has its nuances. If our society is struggling with proper disposal of refuse for government to clear, then it is up to government to brainstorm on how best to create a system that works for our society. Lifting models developed to meet the needs and nuances of another society and applying them in our society may run short unless there adaptations and modifications.
Well, rewind back to my post where I already said Lagos is dealing with far more population density and pressure than its facilities are designed to tolerate. So in the end infrastructures and amenities collapse under the burden of excessive usage.

We cannot blame a Governor for half of these issues.

Can we blame a Governor for allowing population to surge uncontrollably into Lagos? They stopped a truck with migrants and motorbikes the other day. In the end thy had to release them.

Can we blame a Governor for blocked drainage filled with empty beer cans and gala wraps and nylon shopping bags?

The state had environmental sanitation days. A resident sued and got court ruling to stop it. Citizens cheered the ruling. Whats a governor to do?

Very few people understand how government currently work....how government is supposed to work....and how to close tha gap so government is working as very close as possible to a set of benchmarks. This is the ideal of BEST PRACTICE.

I count myself in that very few.

Citizens must not submit all their to-do list to government. If we do, the drive to rise "responsibly" against government becomes an expensive item and we will not be able to find it on the to-do list when we need it.

This is exactly the situation in Lagos now.

The spirit to oppose the excesses of Tinubu is there but the drive is not....because we already surrendered the governance of our own communities to the State, and when we did our drive for self-preservation went with it.

we both agree that there is a problem (hatred) somewhere.. what we don't yet agree upon, is who 1st initiates the hate. My dear Mr Metaphysical, the day you overlook the very vile human nature of denigrating each other, you will realise that we were all humans 1st until colour, religion, tribe, social class and greed seperated us.
Please do not excuse this fundamental social problem away to false attributions.

There is a reason a society creates and maintains order.

Iyaloja Council is part of an ordered society. It is somewhat the equivalent of a labor union. A labor union oversees collective bargaining and workplace protection against employment and job risks. Similarly, trading in a marketplace has its risks and traders interests must be guaranteed against loss and avoidable risks.

Typically Ibos in markets in Yorubaland are opposed to subordination under Yoruba customs and institutions. In that rebellion they will create an autonomous union just for them....one that does not answer to Iyaloja...but to an elected Ibo person, usually called Chairman.

When issues like the one here happens, Chairman and his union of Ibos will discover they are at risk of losses. Then they cry out to public for help. Why is the Chairman incapable of resolving the problem and shielsing his traders from losses, why cry to the public?

It's because of a fundamental under-development....the trigger that flags the brain to assess risk, forecast and mitigate threats and losses is absent in this class of traders.

The behavior is repeated for same class of traders even in places where other forms of unions and social orders and institutions exist beside the Yoruba Iyaloja.

So it has zero attribute to race, tribe, language, religion or any of that.

Simply, it is a class and evolution problem. We have unevolved class of citizens living and trading in societies with evolution far ahead of them.....
