Why do Legislators have to carry identifiers on the road? If Chief Whip can do this, it means other Leadership posts in the House of Assembly equally have their plates. A bandit looking for politician to kidnap has an easy target. Very unwise move.

I do not support kidnapping and given the range of dangers victims of kidnapping are exposed to I do believe it is not too much to pass law and make kidnapping a felony crime with death sentence.

However, considering the circumstances that sorround the kidnap of 9 children, and many more in ongoing discoveries, I think this law has ethnic and religious coloration to it and is dangerous.

Concerned Nigerians should raise voice and appeal to Kano Govt not to apply the law retroactively.

Only few lands given out by the owners can be said to have transferred ownership.

I think he was the governor of Lagos state between 1966 to 1975 not 1960 as quoted by the author. Lagos was a colony from 1960 to 1965. He was able to succeed because Lagos was the capital of Nigeria under General Gowon administration as the head of state. A lot of federal might contributed to the development of Lagos then.

Why did Tinubu succeed, why did Fashola succeed....and Lagos was no longer capital?

Why was Lagos successful before it was ever a known capital?
