Hello people, this is my first post in 2 years. An advice for everyone, no one in the house should go to Carleton University, Ottawa. First off, the school is in a dead town called Ottawa where graduates find it difficult to fine jobs. Second, Carleton is a very messed up school. Take my advise or abuse me. Have a blessed day. Anyone that needs advise about Canada hala at me cos since I came here in 2009, I have seen the every from failing 50% of my classes to graduating to getting a good job to getting detained by campus security for making suicide threat to  getting a Career job in Downtown toronto (Happy ending)

I finished my masters at Carleton University, i saw a naija boy get in with 2.2. To get in with 2.2 u have to be hear to convince the admission officers that u are competent, but u are applying directly from naija without being present here their is a high chance that they will not give u the admission. Why dont u do a post graduate diploma after that u can get a job with that degree, after couple of years u go for ur masters. I have a masters degree and I dont feel any much different, no be even say work plenty like that self

@omonua, first of aal u need gmat u cannot run away from it. secondly u cany see a school in canada that wld offer finance and acc, u can see only fin or only acc. If u want the combo y dnt u go to uk. Canada long tin too much

@choosy apply to ryerson univ, the skool is the cheapest i ve seen. They also award scholarships. But my friend u cant escape from gre, u must do it. Its not difficult at all. if u study hard for one week u r good 2 go

@waxien, once u marry withey u go get the stuff under one year. Even if u marry permanent residence u go get the pr. There are lots of naija pple here wey hold pr. Its not that difficult

@benom, everything na luck, i just met a guy here, he is doing his masters he was admitted with a second class lower degree from naija (unilag). but ur best bet is to check thompson river university. Apply to any skool has has ur prog the highest is that they will say ur admission has been declined. Who knows one of the applications might be fruitful.

@tamita, u have to go for post grad diploma before u will be admitted into a grad programme. Why dont u check Algonquin college

@lad1000, i doubt if they go give u d visa cos dey might say 26 is kind of old for undergrad, but there is no harm in trying. There are jobs in canada, but na mumu jobs plenty pass (as in menial jobs)
