Susdiv: Good day everybody. Please, can the main applicant and spouse leave behind their two Kids and travel to the UK then one of come back later (like six months time) to carry the two Kids?
What are the chances of the children getting the visa when their parents is already in the UK?
PS. The parents are considering this options because of finance.
Thanks as I wait your responses Yes. That's what we did. There is nothing wrong with that. But If you are on a one year course, I doubt if they will give them Visa 6 months to the end of your own Visa. Maybe you make it earlier. 2 or 3 months after your arrival |

Solumtoya: Welsh Government has announced that a £150 cost of living payment is to be paid to the account of all occupiers of properties that are in council tax bands A, B, C and D.
The £150 is not a rebate on the council tax bill, it is a payment to help with the rising cost of all utility bills.
A working Government.

Please, kindly help.

Thanks. Just wanted to be sure that they won't calculate and take all at once. icon8: Would your gross earnings from when you started work until the 5th April be less than £12,570? If you answered yes, then you have nothing to worry about, as you would have earned below the annual income tax-free allowance for the 2021/2022 tax year and therefore exempt from paying income tax. You should however see a change from the 6th of April. Don’t worry, you go pay tax tire. |

JustAPasserBy: Don’t worry. If you like, call the newspapers all the derogatory names in this world. Experience has taught us a lot.
A GP practice will tell you to only call at 8:00 am. There will be thousands calling at the same time. You don’t get through. You complain about problem with your skin, the GP practice insists on a phone/video appointment call. Me that is using a Nokia Torchlight. Me that is black skinned. How can video call help GP to examine me.
Madam… we have heard you.
We (at least myself) don’t need the newspapers to tell me that GPs are LAZY. They use the excuse of CoViD to hide behind phone and video appointments.
Between Lexus430’s advice (born out of experience) and your own. I know which one to follow, which one yields results. well captured. If you complain on two or three issues, they will tell you that they only have 10min for you and that they will only attend to one. Very nasty experience with this UK GPs. Abeg Naija medical system seems to be better than this. Save for the fake drugs |

BorisJohnson: Hello Nairalanders, My dependant's visa application was submitted the first week of February. Didn't hear any more thing from UKVI. I called last week and was told the decision was made on ~February 14th. I asked them to escalate.
Out of curiosity, I went to the post office today, and speculatively presented page 1 of the application form. The woman came back with a BRP in a brown envelope. She asked for the Passport and vignette, I could not present it. She said the BRP was received by them since February 20th.
I called UKVI again. The lady rudely told me that my issue was escalated, and I should wait for another 15 working days.
Does anyone have an idea where my dependant's passport maybe? UKVI? Home Office? TelePerformace? IS there any number or contact that folks have used previously, please? Help me biko. did you not tell her that you are Boris Johnson |

Ancestors, help me look into this matter,
I don't seem to understand healthcare in the UK. Maybe cos of where we are coming from. I got across to my GP since last Monday complaining of acute waist pain and pain In my left knee, spoke with the Dr following day and he said he was recommending xray. On Wednesday. no show, I called again requesting to book to see dr. For a different reason, did that the following day and reminded them that I am yet to see any report or request for xray, he told me that he has forwarded the request to University hospital and that I should. E patient.
My question is, if I no fit waka again nko? Plus the excruciating pains, will I wait for ages before them attend to me? Is that how they operate here?
If na naija, at least you walk into any hospital and you are attended to.
Please what do I do? Is there any pain reliever apart from Paracetamol which I brought from Naija that I can buy easily from a shop ?
Just to add, I have been taking vitamin D and c since I relocated as recommended here sometime ago |
