traveled with Qatar two days ago from Naija to UK. They asked me and I told them am fully vaccinated. But they did not ask for evidence. They didn't ask for the kids

His boss has his clients far away from the office and wants all his staff to have a car. If you can't afford he gives you a loan which will be deducted only for a few months. Now, people are rushing to buy a car they don't like because you must not exceed a particular amount the boss gave on loan. Also, if you don't have a car you will not be giving a shift. I am helpless because I don't know where we can decide to get an accommodation since he hasn't been given any job until he buys a car. Also I can't work because his work plan is not settled yet. Waking up and not knowing what to do every morning. Please house what can we do on this case?

i am just few months old here so not qualified ....... until the elders come, I think that's the wahala with sponsored care work. Well, just try and get a car, whether through loan or not. Whether you like the car or not. What matters most at this time is stability. You can always adjust to your taste later.

FYI, I didn’t get taxed until after about 5-6 months in the uk and I was earning like 2k monthly. My only deduction was NI.

same here. Was not taxed from December. My first tax was this April. Was only paying NI. But I think the reason is because the new tax year begins in April

Please, I need advice on how best to use the Amex Card. It is not being accepted by many retailers. Spoke to one of the PayPoint attendants and he mentioned it is because of the high transaction charge to them when compared with Visa and Mastercard.

I was surprised on a visit to Leeds that even the Mr Whippy van in Roundhay Park accepted Amex.

Bottom line
American Express is not difficult to use, so let your fears melt away. Just be prepared for some of those corner shop purchases, which may not take it. If this is the case you may wish to have a non-American Express card in your wallet as a backup.

But there’s no need for acceptance to stand between you and earning points.

TB certificate expired before decision was made (bio April 4th certificate expired April 29) I was really worried about this

Used 2 bank statements uploaded in two separate pdf

Consent letter for dependant wasn’t signed

Main applicant paid $1286 for IHS(15 months course)
Dependant paid $648 (I was worried about this too)

NO NSF

How many of those posts would you ask people to delete? You rushed online to open your dirty linen, people are now jumping on it both left and right like a swarm of bees…. Then in future, your maybe new husband visits nairaland and starts seeing all these kind of things, you will then wonder where another problem is starting from… When you have family issue like this, discuss with people around you first then if no solution is proffered, you can then ask online by tweaking it a bit…

Book for biometric on the 21 of march
Got NSF mail on the 29 requesting noting
The long wait started
I already started panicking
I was so dull and could not even go outside to have fun
Sent a paid mail on the 22 of April
No decision has been made
I lost count of how I track my application every day
Friday noon I got a collection mail 06\april/2022
Got there today Monday
The wait was soo much

My visa was granted on the 28 of this April

what has that got to do with TB test? They are separate organizations. Beside TB test is valid for 6 months

Be hopeful. At least them don remember you. I guess they just started work on April applications. You will have a positive news this week !

The delay is not specific to your wife's application alone. I also did biometrics on that same date, as main applicant but yet to get visa yet. Tha delay has been very frustrating.

I registered now on revolut and was able to use their disposable card within few mins of registering. Very fast Indeed. But I just remembered after using the card, �what if what I paid for was not delivered and merchant wants to reverse payment, how do you handle that?

Going through my Visa, I just realised that it will expire in may 2023. The same month my wife finishes her program. Was thinking that there is usually a buffer of two months or so after graduation to sort out PWP or is it just the norm? What shall we do? Engage the school international student dept?
