My major problem with this thread is calling cutting down of trees terrorism. You're trying to compare something that can be described as vandalism to the killing of people in the name of religion.

Besides, the land does not belong to the chief priest, so you can't compare it to burning down a church built by people. The forest is most likely a public property, so if anybody should complain, it should be members of the community, and from the story they supported the action.


It will be very rare for you to see a group of Christians physically attacking people of different beliefs. The worst you can see is destroying their properties and shrines, which is vandalism and not terrorism. And most Christians don't even support that.


So stop comparing cutting down of trees to killing people for your religious beliefs (which is the true definition of terrorism). Peace

All we can do is speculate, nobody really knows what caused their marital problems. What we know for sure is that anita sued for divorce and pastor Chris is blameless in that.

His wife left him and not the other way round. Did you expect him to refuse to obey the court order when she sued him for divorce? He had no choice in the matter, so you can't blame him for the dissolution of his marriage.

If you truly have his best interest at heart, you should be praying for his wife to have a change of heart and go back to him. Not condemning him for his wife divorcing him.

He didn't ask you to avoid every atheist like plague, he was asking Christian ladies to avoid (relationships with) like a plague. I don't see how that translate to hate. Or do you think its alright for a Christian to marry an atheist?

Personally, I believe that a Christian lady should not marry a man that is not more spiritually sound than her not to now talk of an unbeliever (atheists and others).

So don't see it as hate its just a good advice. If we hate atheists, how will we preach to them (which is a commandment for every Christian). Infact, as Christians we are not allowed to hate anyone (believer or unbeliever). But there should also be a balance, we shouldn't start doing all what they do all in the name of showing love to them.

So don't see it as hate but as a godly advice to our Christian sisters. Sorry for the long epistle, I pray you get my point. Peace

I have never seen someone that pray concerning a problem and get miracle without taking a practical step in solving the problem. If something like that happen, it's just meant to happen naturally (nature).

This is very wrong. It depends on the situation, sometimes all you have to do is have faith and you will get your miracle. For example , in the case of divine healing, you can pray to God and get healed without taking any drug.

Although, I agree with you that sometimes you have to take action but try not to generalize. Peace.

One thing most religious folks fail to understand is that there is more to a relationship than Yahweh or Allah. Their ignorance and the deciept by pastors has led them to think that one cannot function normally outside religion.

Apart from going to church and praying to urself, humans will still go home and interact with each other. Our daily lives have absolutely nothing to do with any nonexistent God. Relationship involves sacrifice, pain, love, learning, respect, all of which humans must learn how to balance in order to be in a steady relationship.
I love my girl and she is so comfortable with me.

All my relatives know I don't buy all this church and religious stuff, yet they are amazed at how i am quick to respond to their plight. I am like the good black sheep of my family, I hate religious matter yet, despite not being rich, everyone seem to lean on me.

I respect my girl and we have learned to be with each other, we laugh at our jokes and know when not to cross each others boundary and that's respect. Yet we are not a perfect duo... But we are happy.

If God exists, he must be foolish. He is the source of segregation among the very humans he claims he created and loves. Well for me, even though I think religion is dumb, I still believe good people will always be good and bad people will always be bad. There are bad religious people and good religious people. There are also bad atheists and good atheists.

Imagine the irony of this thread... Loving Christians preaching hate, while murderous atheists are sying it's possible to live with Christians despite the difference. But loving Christians insists that we should never live together.
