so u r supporting the pastor who made a girl to derail and acts like he never saw her before? Na wa o. This Christianity practised by Nigerians should be looked into properly. Oyibo that brought it to Africa didn't teach us this. Shame on Fatoyinbo and his co rapists called pastors. I even heard that all his pastors except one are like him, fucking peoples babes and wives. Satan is waiting for them...ozuor

Oh so its now rape? So its only nigerian pastors that commit sin, or you think one sin is greater than the other?

Am not saying that I support him, but the question is: why didn't she tell us everybody she has ever had sex with, before and after the Pastor? Or is it only sex with pastors that is a sin? She should have confessed every sin she has ever committed to the media.

What can I say to convince you that creation of jobs, good economy management and a friendly environment for business to thrive is better than the meagre, peanut N5000 MONTHLY
I give up!

Both can be done. No government in this world can provide jobs for everyone and eradicate poverty totally. So don't think creating jobs and a good economy is something that can be done overnight, it will take time. But meanwhile help can be provided for the poor.

So there's nothing wrong in pursuing economic developments and also helping the poor. Both can be done together. The government has budgets for all those things already so they don't affect each other.

If former Christians willingly donate their bibles, rosaries, hymn book and other Christian accessory to a Muslim sheik for public burning, hope you won't complain?

When have you seen Christians reacting violently because the bible was being burnt?

Btw you atheists are also guilty of religion intolerance. You spend a lot of time online bashing Christians, calling God all sorts of names and ridiculing our believes just because we don't subscribe to your ideology. Is that not religion intolerance? Or what exactly is religion intolerance?

Live and let live. Don't go about ridiculing and insulting other peoples beliefs. And this goes to everyone, both theists and atheists. Peace

Christians are the most intolerant and the most insecured people on earth. Do such to them, they scream persecution. They're the worst set of hypocrite. Or should I say the religion is synonymous with hypocrisy... Nonsense religion.

You people are very funny, if it was a topic in support of Christianity you will be asking for proof but now you just accepted the story without any proof.

Where is the picture of the burnt shrine? All I can see from the pictures is that people brought out their idols to be burnt willingly.

You claim to be a former Christian but you believe that a Catholic priest will burn down another person's place of worship. How many Catholic priests have you seen that go about burning shrines?

If you want to attack Christianity at least do it appropriately, although that itself is a form of religion intolerance and it also makes you an hypocrite. Peace

So starting from today, by God's grace I've decided go cold turkey. I pray that God helps me in my endeavour and that am able to successfully quit taking tramadol.

Am hoping to succeed by God's grace exclusively, so everybody reading this should please continue praying for me.

I'll continue to update my progress regularly. Thanks y'all. May God be with us all.

igraman:

please elaborate the seizure part of your story for education purpose.
how do u seize... is it the same as 'daku' in Yoruba ?

Daku is fainting and its different from seizures. I can't accurately describe mine because am not always conscious of what's going on. Its my elder sister that witnessed it that described it to me.

Basically, she said I first shouted, which is what brought my sister and mother to my room. Then I shook a little bit then became stiff and my eyes were rolling. I guess it was a very scary experience for them because when I became conscious on the way to the hospital, I was surrounded with quite a few number of people. She called our pastor and some other people, it was two full cars that took us to the hospital. They said they thought I was dying, so it must have been a very unpleasant sight.

This is part of the reasons why I've decided to stop taking tramadol. But its not easy to stop because of the unpleasant withdrawal symptoms.

Are you also addicted to tramadol or any other drug?

what am doing right now is i want to stop it little by little so instead of the normal 600 i use to take i have decided to be reducing it little by little in that way i won't feel the wahala too much till i get to stop. how about u join me?

Nice idea, so how many have you taken today?

Plus mine will be more difficult because I take like a whole satchet of the 100mg a day.

Oh dear! I'm sorry to hear you're going through this. Since you're addicted to it, it might be best to go to a rehab centre so that they help you come of it slowly. If you want to go at it alone, you'll have to reduce the amount you're taking over time so that the withdrawal symptoms are not as bad. If you take a whole 100g sachet right now, perhaps try cutting by half into 50g then slowly reduce to 40, 30, 20, 10, 5. Then you can do 5g every other day, 5g every three days, 5g every week and then none at all. Obviously you can miss some steps if you're fine without it after a certain point. I hope you beat this!

Thanks boss, I'll give it a try.

Op, am in the same situation with you. I started taking it 2 years ago but unlike you am actually grateful for been introduced to it, because it helped me then.

The problem is that I've started having seizures, so I've decided to stop but am deathly scared of the withdrawal symptoms. You won't believe that I've once succeded in abstaining for almost a week but the insomnia was unbearable so I just had to continue taking it.

Please let me know if you find a way to avoid the withdrawal symptoms. Thanks

After spiling peoples business like when he drove pigs into the river and destroying fig trees upandan would you think anyone would have liked him
Nigga was making a fool of himself with his hobo 12 and they come to tell us the dude died for our sins

So you believe that Jesus existed and drove demons into pigs. What power did he use to do this? Can you give a physical explanation for it since you atheists don't believe in the spiritual.

Can you also give a physical explanation for how he made a fig tree die just by speaking to it.

I now believe that most atheists are not really atheists, they just hate God and reject him.

Repent before it becomes to late. Peace
Religion / Re: Christian Terrorism [the Peak Of Hypocrisy] by michaelwestern(m): 9:04pm On Nov 30, 2016
My major problem with this thread is calling cutting down of trees terrorism. You're trying to compare something that can be described as vandalism to the killing of people in the name of religion.

Besides, the land does not belong to the chief priest, so you can't compare it to burning down a church built by people. The forest is most likely a public property, so if anybody should complain, it should be members of the community, and from the story they supported the action.

It will be very rare for you to see a group of Christians physically attacking people of different beliefs. The worst you can see is destroying their properties and shrines, which is vandalism and not terrorism. And most Christians don't even support that.

So stop comparing cutting down of trees to killing people for your religious beliefs (which is the true definition of terrorism). Peace

The woman must have been ignored for so long after countless efforts to save their marriage but he was "busy" doing whatever.
No woman wants her home destroyed but every woman must be catered for and given attention as due. You talk like this cuz you guys heard only from your lord and master pastor and whatever he says is always true but dis you care to ask from her?
Are you aware that the highest giver in the ministry Bro Strive also left the ministry cuz of this issue?
Pastor Chris needs to reconcile with his wife, period!

Where did you get your own information from? How do you know that pastor Chris is not interested in reconciling with his wife if she wants? Or do you expect him to kidnap her if she doesn't want to reconcile with him?

All we can do is speculate, nobody really knows what caused their marital problems. What we know for sure is that anita sued for divorce and pastor Chris is blameless in that.

So you have liberty to do anything since He's the judge?
My friend no pastor will stand with you at judgement so stop all these human worship, condemn what's wrong and stop harbouring them
If you cannot take care of your family how can you take care of God's people? He's not the only one with big ministry why can't he manage his home well

His wife left him and not the other way round. Did you expect him to refuse to obey the court order when she sued him for divorce? He had no choice in the matter, so you can't blame him for the dissolution of his marriage.

If you truly have his best interest at heart, you should be praying for his wife to have a change of heart and go back to him. Not condemning him for his wife divorcing him.

It will have to be pastor Adeboye. Redeem has the most branches outside Nigeria. Then pastor Chris Oyakhilome is also popular outside Nigeria and prophet t b Joshua. But the most popular will have to be pastor Adeboye.

Biodun fatoyinbo lied he never bleeped Ese Walters. He has not come out to apologize to Christians for his deed. How come he still preaches to people? Are they reasonable at all? I am not criticizing him because he bleeped, I am criticizing because he lied. He should apologise and repent genuinely before people like me will take him serious. If not, I consider him a yeyebrity and not a pastor. He is free to invite anybody from anywhere to preach but if he does not confess his fault (cos he made the poor girl he bleeped look like a liar, whereas she is a girl of clear conscience), he will just continue to be a sign board(directing people to a place but never going there).

So after committing adultery announcing it on social media is the way to seek forgiveness from God? Is the Pastor the first person to sleep with her? Why didn't she announce every one she has slept with on social media?

Plus the Pastor never denied it, he just promised to give a reply later and never did. Most people including me believe that he did sleep with her. But nobody has the right to judge him because we have all committed one sin or the other.

Lol... Unfortunately for u, I am in a very happy relationship... I just pity u. U sit down in the comfort of ur home and wish my relationship is fake. That's how stupid some of u religious folks can be.

U think my fiance is the only theist friend I have? I have been getting along with theists even before I met her.

Religion is dumb. My girl is dumb for being religious, but gladly there are far other qualities she has that I admire and that makes me think she is a great woman.

She knows my take in religion yet we are able to get along almost perfectly.

Like I said, their is more to life than religion and imaginary beings. We concentrate on other things more important to our lives. Ur imaginary being remains in her head and not in our relationship.

Are u that sad I am happy? Go hug a fat frog.

I don't wish that your relationship is fake am just saying that you're not being fully honest with her.

Will she be happy if she knows that you think both her and her religion are dumb? She probably just thinks that you're indifferent to religion and will change with time. Not knowing that you're a Christian basher on nairaland.

If she's a true Christian then nothing will be more important to her than her relationship with God. So don't tell me that there are more important things in your relationship than religion. The foundation of your relationship is shaky.

If you want to be fully honest with her, allow her to read all your posts on nairaland. I don't think your relationship can survive that.

And am not wishing you ill, am just trying to look out for a fellow sister in Christ. She might be caught up in love now and not realize what she's doing. I just pray that her eyes open before its too late. Peace

OMG!!! The thing about bigotry is that if you happen to be trapped in it, you won't even see the wrong in anything you do.

You ask me to quote where the OP asked readers to hate atheists? Are you for real? He said and I hereby quote, "AVOID ATHEISTS LIKE PLAGUE"! If this isn't the very definition of hatred, I'd be damned!!

Wow, always try to read things in their context.
He didn't ask you to avoid every atheist like plague, he was asking Christian ladies to avoid (relationships with) like a plague. I don't see how that translate to hate. Or do you think its alright for a Christian to marry an atheist?

Personally, I believe that a Christian lady should not marry a man that is not more spiritually sound than her not to now talk of an unbeliever (atheists and others).

So don't see it as hate its just a good advice. If we hate atheists, how will we preach to them (which is a commandment for every Christian). Infact, as Christians we are not allowed to hate anyone (believer or unbeliever). But there should also be a balance, we shouldn't start doing all what they do all in the name of showing love to them.

So don't see it as hate but as a godly advice to our Christian sisters. Sorry for the long epistle, I pray you get my point. Peace
