He creates, how? By shaking body or by throwing legs? grin
By drawing his legs back, moving it forward with force and hitting the ball towards an open teammate. In other words, by passing the ball

This is how I rate these three players according to their dribbling skills.

1, Isaac Success
2, Taiwo Awoniyi
3, Kelechi Iheanacho

However, in the last match I saw Nacho played he showed flashes of dribbling skills.
why is it that you just like saying absurd things? Awoniyi? Dribbling? Skills?! When exactly did that happen?

When he played the U17, one of the physiotherapists here was sold on the guy, I told him that the guy cannot dribble just that he is clinical and that he would lose his touch soon and then he'd become a fluke. Once you take out the clinical part of Awoniyi's game, he becomes a poor player, he cannot dribble, he creates every now and then but dribbling and Awoniyi should not be used in the same sentence...no, in the same essay in fact

Take it from someone who knows. Raheem Sterling would always flatter to deceive, you need to look beyond the flatter to find out that there's nothing more in there. I cried blue murder when ManCity splashed $60m on his transfer fee, but it took Manuel Pellegrini more than half of the EPL season to realized what I had already known about Sterling. And I was shocked to see Pep making the same mistake by trying to build his team around Sterling, while neglecting potential stars like Nolito and Kelechi.

In fact, that's when I concluded that Pep is grossly overrated as a coach. I mean, to be fair, I have never rated him that highly even when he was at Barca. I felt that the Barca system along with Messi, Iniesta, and Xavi can make an average coach seem like a world beater!

O pari
Nolito a future star? When is that future? When he turns 40?

I actually did, trust me. Both here and on twitter. And in addition, I launched another blistering attack on the technical crew after he was played out of position against Zambia. I have been one of his biggest fans because I saw his potential, along with Etebo and Azubuike. Those three players are the future of the Super Eagles midfield. Mikel is done....he has chosen the Chinese money over football. And as much as I like Onazi and Ogu, they are destined to play second fiddle to the afore mentioned trio.

O pari
After the Zambia game it was just GoodJoe and yours truly that supported the guy. In fact before that game, in the match against Tanzania we both also pointed out how he calmed the game down, so you can't just say that we recently jumped into the bandwagon

Looollll..... you may never know.... grin We are talking about a player who is suggesting that Barca should sell Andre Gomes..... just because of his return of 1 goal and 2 assists in about 37 apps... looollll (messi don't know Gomes leads the rankings for best passes percentage in the UCL, best passes % in opposition areas and best passes % into the final third of the pitch).

This is who you think will leave Barca anytime soon? Person wey dey mingle into barca transfer business.... loollll

Anyway, Messi feels he owes Barca his life after how they helped take care of his growth hormone deficiency problem when he was a boy. smiley

But if Messi leaves (highly unlikely).... It won't be to Chelsea.

But again, anything is possible in football.... wink

As for Moses.... Soares is the only name I hear or have read about for now....
Please, I'd like to know where you saw those stats about Gomes because they are factually very very wrong. Gomes is the worst player on the Barca first team now, well probably not the worst generally but the biggest misfit there is. He misses easy chances in every single game he plays, PSG away, Malaga yesterday, poor poor player and to think that he was bought for 35M+

should i skull you on it, under FLORA IGHALO was a lone striker with DEENEY supporting, from his back,

agreed he Ws out of form before, but under WALTER wat was his position huh
Walter started with the same formation, Ighalo still continued to mess up and he changed to 3-man defence but he always had two strikers up top. Even in the match they played today, Success was playing behind Okaka, so are you sure you watched their matches?

lol i follow gent i watch their games every single match due to the fact that they have 4 or 5 nigerians in the team as for simon his last game he scored two goals, the problem with simon is that he needs to refine his game he almost now plays like musa hoping hes faster than the defender and his crossing and decision making is a c plus, as for kalu he is quick a better dribbler than simon and his crossing ability and decision making is way better, i prefer kalu to simon but remember simon is also a better team player than kalu he comes back to defend he has a high/high work rate unlike kalu who has a high/medium work rate.. for onyekuru i feel gent will even snap him up or genk by next season ....
couldn't put it better myself. He is a one-trick pony. In his first season just like Mahrez and Ighalo, nobody knew what he was going to do but after the studied him it became hard for him to cope. However I do not support your opening word, except there was something that tickled your fancy?

Kalu and onyekuru can't be rated above simon. This is why, both are talented BT are both immature in there decision especially onyekuru , most times after onyekuru have gotten the ball and ave a decent run he looks lost sometimes and is selfishness isn't helping , kalu in is case need to go to gym he easily falls once push although he got the talent bt he hardly join the defence just like onyekuru, and that is one of simon strong point
That's why we play two standing fullbacks. Omeruo doesn't join the attack, neither does Echejile, so we want attack-minded wide men, not wide men that can defend predominantly. Just like when Barca used to play Abidal to free up any defensive responisibilities from Pedro or Villa depending on who was out on the right. That's the system we are working with and frankly Simon Moses' offensive output...not great

Why not? Moses spent half a season in Gent in his first year and was a major factor in their title win.

Onyekuru has taken a newly promoted side and almost singlehandedly saved them from relegation, comfortably.

The level of competition is the same.

Onyekuru has a higher goal rate of 0.5 compared to Simon Moses (in his first season) 0.411
Simon moses had a slightly higher assist ratio of 0.235 to Onyekuru 0.219

Simon Moses form has drastically fallen from his first year.

At this point, Onyekuru is performing better.. Let us see the progress in the coming season.
Totally agree. Honestly I don't rate Simon as high as most guys here do, he is the kinda player I see on the SE's list and I am like, what? He is a little above average at best, he had a great season back then but that's just that. Gent weren't nobodies before he came though, I think they finished 3rd or 2nd a couple of seasons before he came and he was placed in the first team because their winger then was sold to....can't really remember but he did well and kept the spot. Right now he cannot be compared to Onyekuru, let me leave out Kalu because I still think he plays like Gray of Leicester, great player but too immature and selfish

Good question.

Musa will still not be a regular.

Rohr typically plays 4-5-1
But he may chose to alter it to a 4-4-2 depending on how the game is progressing.

Recall in the last game against Senegal, Rohr started with a 4-5-1. But as we went a goal down he saw the need to switch formation and adopted a 4-4-2 with Kayode playing SS to Iheanacho. Or some may even say 4-3-3 if u consider Success as a striker in that game. That is what I am talking about. He may also be a candidate for that SS role.

You dnt expect to always get the first goal in every game. Rohr has been opportune to always be ahead in all his 3 previous games which is why he had always maintained that 4-5-1 till the end. So what happens if u find urself a goal or two down? You need to quickly switch formation and make it more attack minded. This is where Musa can be introduced as an SS. His pace and direct play can be used to unlock difficult defenses.

Ahmed Musa has eyes for goals. Recall when he was at CSKA how he often played the SS role to Seydou Dumbia. There were also games where he played as a CF.
Ok, now I understand what you were saying. Still I wouldn't think of looking for Musa when I am a goal down, the guy has some games where he will be absolutely clinical, but when he is off, he is simply off. He might even fall down in front of the keeper when he is off

No be say 'might' he has already lost his place. He used to be a starter along with Victor Moses. He first lost it when Moses Simon came and fell further as Iwobi was incorporated.

However, I still feel we can try him in the SS role.
but where will he play the SS? Last I checked we do not have one in our formation, except if you mean the AMF

Without Messi: 8 games - 7 points.

That shows how badly they play without him at the moment.
and the only game they lost with Messi was against Brazil. I have said it before, Aguero is overrated, don't get me started about Higuain. Di Maria is okay at times but in essence you only have Messi and Mascherano in that team, yet people think Messi is having it easy

looollll... not that straightforward.... I don't think Barca are ready "yet" to sell Sergi Roberto or have him playing second fiddle to Victor Moses.... he just sent Barca to the UCL quarters... so that deal is kinda on hold for now.

And yeah... Moses is the one keeping Aina out but Aina can still work his way through.... not by displacing Moses... but by being the first choice Backup to Moses In Conte's plans....

As time goes on... Aina may become a mainstay while Moses moves on to a much bigger club.... (coz Mehn... only few clubs big pass Chelsea ooo).

Well. however it happens... I know Aina will progress nicely and even now, Conte still gives him game time from time to time even though they come in fives, 10s and 15s of mins... smiley
Barcelona are in dire need of a RB. Aleix Vidal had already displace Roberto before he got injured, after that the formation had to be changed to a 3-4-3 to eliminate the RB from the system entirely. Barca will definelty buy a RB this summer, that one is a given

Looolll.... I am sure he meant "during the time he was on the pitch for The Super Eagles"

Onazi wasn't exactly average during those 25mins. He was practically our most composed player before his injury. Even the matchday commentator agrees with this. I have watched it so have others but again we got to view things critically as to what Onazi did wrong or right... truth is... he hardly put a foot wrong... he had only one misplaced pass sef and was everywhere in that midfield. Onazi did hold his own and was indeed our brightest spark closely followed by Ndidi during those first 25mins.

So Sir Mickael2.... abeg... make we just move on... Ndidi was eventually even MOTM by far in the end.
You still don't understand me. He was everywhere in the middle doing what? Destroying!!! Not linking up play. If we were playing a box to box destroyer then Onazi ticks the box, but he was supposed to be linking up the midfield which he wasn't! That's what I was explaining since that match day, Onazi was playing as a DMF in that CMF position, you look at it and he may appear as if he was doing great because you are used to seeing him as a DMF, compare what he was doing with what Etebo was doing against Algeria and you will see

Has any one head about Akpan Udoh U20 Goalkeeper
we've always had fantastic goalkeepers at youth level, by always I mean ALWAYS. From Vanzekin to Ajiboye to Dami Paul to this new boy in portugal. But the problem is where and how to develop them. No team can have more than 4 goalkeepers at a time, and even then only 2 will be getting good play time. So I believe it's time we abandon the foreign leagues and look into our local leagues. If we can't then I have to jump back into the 'call-back-Enyeama' train, he still has 5 solid years to give to us so no harm done. But our league should be our main provider

because even when we are having great games he is always the weak spot. Plus we have better options. some of us watch football in a funny way. even the best teams do not play good football every single day of the season. the difference between a great team and an average team is the ability to get something out of difficult games. we had a relatively drab game but we got something out of it, against Senegal not just any team and the fact that we came back from a goal down makes it even better. but somehow we want our boys to marvel us every single day.

There is no comparison there. Eriksen is the superior player when it comes to one touch passing, skipping past players, dribbling, spreading passes an giving killer passes. Even when under pressure, Eriksen keeps the ball better.
One touch passing and skipping past players I disagree, that's Alli's main skillset. He can't dribble one on one more than Eriksen I agree, he can't spread passes like Eriksen I agree, that's what creativity is all about and I did point out that he is limited there

I did not watch him at MK Dons and I am judging him based on the multiple games I have watched Alli at Tottenham. His skill level when it comes to connecting is quite limited. Can you compare his connecting play to Eriksen before you write abeg. When it comes to connecting play, Mikel is absolutely brilliant.
are you talking about connecting play or being creative? Because if you mean connecting play then Alli is absolutely marvelous at that. His close control is crazy, he can control a ball while on the run, he doesn't hide from the ball, he is always available and he has the one touch skill to beat his man, but when it comes to making a killer pass he is limited there. Eriksen is only better than him when it comes to long range strikes and killer passes, they are almost balanced in all other aspects

But, Alli will not create as much chances as Mikel or will not link the midfield to the attack as much as Mikel would. Mikel is more of an asset and will make the team play better. That is the true essence of a creative attack midfielder.
I don't know where you got your idea that he can't link the middle. Did you watch him at MK Dons? For starters, watch his game against Man U, he was the sole creator in that game. Just because he has a new role at Tottenham doesn't mean he can't do it abeg
