datigbogirl:A good friend did that, he addressed the letter to the state coordinator's office, cc: LGI..., Just paused the service and resumed on arrival. Perhaps the deed's been done. Btw, I'd rather you don't expect them paying you. But you never know, things might change. Plus Your new state shd pay though, since they've not been paying you prior to then. Do keep us posted. And as for monitoring you hands and feet, it can't be that serious, save for the impromptu check-ins every now and then. |

danduchi:Expantiate will you? |
dave2meek:This really happened? |
berepiki:Good! You're on... Bonne Voyage journeyman |
menix:Put it if you're a Teen |
waylz:It'll only be a matter of time before their wings get clipped. Ditto for the age-discriminating coys around too. Things they dare not try in their home countries. SMH |
Demmocrats:You know how to do that? Buy Gold profitably? |
berepiki:So why should people Fast? And Why should Christians Pray? |
Gazzy88:You could've passed your points across without going vitriolic on him. As hin for his facts and present yours... Simple |
The wife who's dissuading you from a ready (albeit low-ranking) job now, will be the very first to start misbehaving towards you when another isn't forthcoming. I'll advise you start this dispatch rider job for now, you may even find a way to create a niche that adds value to that chain and then you'd hit it big. Let's even say your former company surely will recall you next year, how do you hope to finance/provide for the house till then? It's better when you're not giving enough, not dropping anything at all only lessens your worth and humble as your wife may be, (though I doubt it, giving her posture to the job), a woman (like I pointed before) will always act "womanly". |
Onyiibazz:I don't think he said the contrary, what IMO the guy meant was simply that no child you hardly hear a child's crying voice outside unless something's made him uncoftable in the house. In otherwords, we might not have heard FELA's "human rights" songs in his mother had been granted the status that her "struggles for Nigeria" merits. And that Ojukwu's "to your tenth o Biafrans" arose not so much out of his complete pitying of his suffering brothers as but as itfrom his personal grouse with being subjugated for a junior officer. Same way those who bought the anti-subsidy protesters pure water, drinks. Foods and umbrella's back then didn't do so from some love of country but rather because of their fear of what becomes of their "investments" shd the plan follow through. |
ronald4lif:Wanted to tell her exactly, the same thing. Bravo! |
magicminister:Ok. Just try doing so once you can |
This might sound crude but can you plait hairs? If yes, then dress moderately, get to confirmed neighbourhoods/estates not too far from your house. Go to as many gates as you can per day (target yourself), offer your services to help the madam of the house plait her daughters' hair in house on weekends. You might get at least one - to trial offers in the first week. Few heads per day for each weekend (Friday-Sunday), should provide something to support you and your. Job-hunt through the week. With time you'd get a real position courtesy one of. Your clients. Joining a good Church, spread word around (if you don't mind) walking up to parents whose children show up with unplaited hairs on weekend might be a way to start too. Just put your heart to it and God'll lead. If you're good at "pallying" with people (which I truly hope you'll be), God'll surely turn one of those windows into a door for you. Even as you also stylishly broach your search for a weekday job to some clients you trust. Perhaps to help out even if as an intern assisting with the dept. in their workplaces that handle traveling arrangement for their directors and staff. Above all "take it to church". You'll earn much from that than teaching in another run-of-the-mill school. |
NavierStokes:That to me doesn't still justify spending any of our much "needed-for-other things" dollars on probabilistic projects like Chad exploration. I think the IOCs have more reliable data than FG itself and should such projects be profitable, they'd have started it on their own since. Having to pipeline the oil down to the ports would only further increase expenditure and vandalism. Not to forget that FG has almost never singlehandedly completed a business-sensible and self sustaining project lately, almost none. So I see the money ending up in pockets and GMB's successor putting it on the shelf to face "more pressing" issues. Dynamics may change shd we have in-house refineries though but I won't bet on it. |
handsomeclouds:The Rich don't go to Iganmu stadium, they don't even go to Silverbird Galleria ( where average guys go spend their January to December earnings) on Holidays. Not when there's Dubai, Hawaii etc. Its just a "Dog eat Dog" scenario |
magicminister:do contact me think I might know a way out. |
magicminister:Issues such as this will keep popping up unless we completely leave religion a personal thing. The shiite's action only gave the sunni's via the army something to exploit. Have you heard what El-rufai did to their worship centres and properties lately? This slights will just keep piling gradually until it reaches it's crescendo and some people somewhere decide to fund some foot soldiers on a rampage against those they perceive as their "oppressors". Unfortunately, most of the victims then will be ignorant and innocent citizens. God help us. |

salvation77177:Not public servants are looters. Some are just wiser than their mates. Secondly, many of those students are from homes where the parents have reached some level of comfort (via investments etc.) before the pupil's education needs came up. You can afford anything if you've grown and have a sustainable system in place not an effort-based job people call business. |
20bc:[quote author=tensazangetsu post=41312325]No matter how. "Dull" any pupil from such schools might be academically, I can guarantee an above average level of communication, leadership, interpersonal and problem solving skill. Even the dullness, will still trump more than 70-80% of the best products from average/public school systems. If one can afford it, such expense is definitely worth it. However, one shdn't break his bank just for it, you can't do this with the hope of the child paying you back someday. Almost never happens. |

kaeforum:Naija can't follow suit, there'll be hell to pay. I think GEJ (going by his subtle advice/comments to PMB after the election) had it in mind, wouldn't be surprised if it's part of the reasons they did frustrated the man. Imagine the heat the currency will take if we'd switched our reserve currency completely just like that. Only recently has the CBN started to hedge our reserve by holding some of it in yuan too. But a complete/ large scale switch is near impossible presently, though it'll have been to our benefit. Given the recent adoption of the yuan into the world's body of reserve currencies. Zimbabwe could go scot free cos her economy is dead anyway and even if not, would've been too small to be significant. |

cizy:GEJ deserves the blame now, after all he built an obsolete refinery, employed enough engineers to refine empty air and has been paying the retired ones pensions while the Unretired ones continue to get salaries till date refining air. MrPresident1:The way I see it, the same sense in building the Kaduna refinery is the reason Ajaokuta steel complex was sited where it is today, " the powers that be" wanted their own copies of already succeeding interventions down south. We all know what has become of both projects till date. Yes it is good to be ambitious but it still beats one, (unless you can see the political undertones to the situation) why people will ignore obvious signs and still plunge into the ditch, why build a refinery that'll you'll need to import feedstock for, not to talk of having to transport same feedstock that far hinterland. To talk of still maintaining the unwise investment will beat the crap out of somebody. Someone once told me if an investment doesn't make sense from the onset it's no use hoping things'll change soon to favour it. There's very little chance the Ajaokuta complex will ever be competitive/profitable unless Government continues to fund it. Not when almost all other feedstock (lime/dolomite, Coal, repair parts etc.) except the iron ore itself have to be moved from the south (ports etc.) Had we been able to surmount those hurdles, such products will still not be able to compete with their contemporaries from abroad so people will still go ahead and import (even if they have to smuggle it in) Now as we speak, there are staffs there (Kad refinery, and Ajaokuta, some have even been promoted to very high levels, collecting salaries, gratuities and pensions, yet adding nothing to national productivity. Almost Ditto for Adesina's rice program and the way it was handled....... And our amiable presido is about to go explore for a rapidly depreciating resource up there (Make dem self fit talk sey dem get am or what?), where as we have various solid minerals that only former Generals and key officials are codedly exporting for sale now, paying little if any tax or returns to govt.. Now that oil price is low though, maybe we'd be able to run that structure except for the added investment that'll be needed. I'd rather we restore the other existing ones to full capacity and reinvest their profits into the Kaduna refinery for export purposes. |
