just when you're coming to terms with lost and recovered millions in usd, then this;

" A suspected thief was caught red handed on Arik Air flight from Lagos to Abuja this morning stealing money from a passenger's bag and transferring to his own.

According to Japheth Omojuwa who shared the story, this has been a common occurrence but when they catch them, the thieves would claim, "sorry, I thought it was my bag..."

"Arik Air actually had someone pose like a regular passenger seated far behind pretending to be asleep. That person saw everything. This time though, the spy let them complete the transfer before making his own move. They were caught literally in the act" Omojuwa tweeted.

The police were alerted as soon as the incident happened on air and the thief was arrested on arrival.

A lazy amateur/apprentice barber will outdo a pro who completely exited the trade about 30 yrs ago, tools, styles, techniques etc surely would have changed.

I'm not any bit surprised though, we'll sure blame global oil prices but what of the massive fx round-tripping?

Tell me GEJ misspent our money and I'd say "oha" but this it happened in a time of plenty, what to say of these ones who're raping the nation black and blue despite knowing she's in a fix defies naming

I'm sure your Big break's coming, and it's then your UK training will distinguish you from the mediocres.

In the meantime, even an O n G job won't save you from Buharinomics so I'd say learn what vehicles are at your disposal currently and run with the one(s) most within your reach it's what everyone's at right now.

Those're for verification and perhaps objs the essay questions are still handmarked.

Maybe in a few years, these too will be digitised

WAEC doesn't mark everyone down in a center for exam malpractice. If you mark a script and report exam malpractice, you will have to give instances and all the affected candidates will be examined one after the other by at least 3 officers and scrutinized seriously before a conclusion can be gotten.

Once took part in a "coordination" where the chief examiner stated "once you notice exam malpractice and have enough samples to prove it, report and you'll no longer need to mark them but will get paid"

First SANE AND COMPLETE statement i've read here so far.

Please they need to pass that social media bill cos the number of stories we see on naij.com too are absurd.

I read his attack on EFCC and he used 'definite' words with NO EVIDENCE TO BACK UP HIS CLAIM... nowhere in the world is it acceptable.

How can u use definite to accuse magu of 'panicking' about his confirmation and thus going after efcc staff? Seriously? Where's the evidence?

Even Sahara reporters don't 'allege' using definite words except they add proof(like pictures)

It's ironic that @ a time when the country is being sanitised same nigerians are anti-govt because THEY ARE HUNGRY...like seriously? Which country goes through a transition without these scenarios (which corruptive elements are using to fight back)

None I agree with you, but no serious positive transition will include practices that were altogether a part of the old era viz: budget padding, selective Forex, jaundiced probing et. al...

you know, it still baffles me sometimes the level of self entitlement Nigerian men have today. My own father was a man. In fact dem no born my mama well to even beat us anyhow. The man was a provider of the highest order. Na just flexing things throughout my childhood. And no woman dare come from anywhere to say pim to my mother. In fact I have never witnessed him raise his voice against my mother and she can find trouble. They were best friends and showed over love to each other. Almost embarrassing to us kids.

Till today I have no evidence of away matches the man played. We all keep lamenting that he did not live to flex the way we wanted him to flex. Even my mama de jealous well well. See that is what happens when a man is a man. Those little kids see and know everything. And they will reciprocate in future if a father or mother did right. The mother can never turn her kids against a good father whether rich or poor. Our actions always speak for us even to the little ones.

From what i read here the govt of pmb needs to be applauded rather than booed cuz most of the points Sanusi made here are already being implemented by the Buhari govt. We all know that a significant effort has been made to bring back the three refineries to life, we all have seen them work at different capacities too, if gej with all the wasted resources made half the effort the present govt hv done we would hv had a better Nigeria today.
With the celebrated looters undermining the efforts of the present govt by sponsoring the NDA not only to cripple the economy but also to frustrate the efforts of the govt in the area of electricity and refineries by cutting gas supply to the turbans as well as cutting crude oil supply to the refineries. Truth be told, if i score Geg's govt 50% i ll score the present govt 75%.sanity is also gradually returning to the system even though we can't see it due to the enormous hardship we are currently experiencing.

I'm expecting about 11.5 million naira in a couple of months and the same stuff running through my mind.

Here's a summary of what Intend to do.

Open a foreign account and stash a larger % in dollars, open a ghanian account to receive dollars

Invest in low risk FX funds

Import goods. Mostly office consumables

Invest in agriculture. Warehousing and export finance

Run an Uber taxi.

I won't elaborate. I believe this is enough.

How'd this go for you?
