It wasn't quite a master class or a clinic. But it wasn't that far off. Before the fight I said that deciding the winner was close but that the fight wouldn't be. I stick to that view. Pacquiao had a few rounds of success but that was it… a few rounds. Mayweather outboxed him. He came close to giving him a boxing lesson. Pacquiao had no way to consistently land offence, no way to pin Mayweather down and no way to stop Mayweather picking him off. There was no controversy, no real drama, nothing that would demand an immediate rematch. Mayweather simply did what he has done to so many other boxers who came in with dreams of winning. He crushed their dreams and outboxed them.This was the Hagler/Leonard of this generation… but Mayweather never let it be as close as that classic. This was a classic performance by Mayweather. It was not a classic bout to remember through the ages. That, perhaps more than anything, sums up Mayweather's brilliance. He's so good that he takes the drama out of bouts. He's so good that even landing a single punch on him gets a roar from the crowd as it's such a rare event.

Perhaps... Then again, it will only be an opinion. Generally speaking, sportsmen of different generations are not easy to compare, so it will always be a never ending argument.

I think your visual expectations for this fight was too high. Though, this fight was not great on the eye, but it was nevertheless a very good technical fight.
BTW dude! Why did you go and watch that 50 shades of crap in the first place? What did you expect? The clue was in the name lol

Yup I do. Surely, you are not comparing him to Floyd? I rate Joe frazer better than Rocky personally. Technically, Floyd has to be the best boxer ever (Of-course it is a matter of opinion).

The fight wasn't even close enough for a rematch. We shall see.

Okay I will say this. Floyd is the greatest fighter in the history. Definitely the most tactical and the best counter puncher.

In boxing history, May will be lined up with the klitchiko`s, Mohammed Ali, Lenox Lewis and Co. Pac belongs to the league of Tyson, Freeman and co. I can see a rematch either way from this fight. Too many cash still to be won.
Part of me want floyd to win to maintain his record, while another want manny to win because of who he is.
