GGirll:
I touched a dead body for the first time in 2009 when my classmate's mum died 20 minutes after morning prayers. It was very touchy as her dad tried to rush her to d hospital n later I was called to bring her dad's n her phones to d hospital, as I was approaching d place I saw her barefooted crying n told me she had died,a woman I spoke with last night n held her hand in prayers that morning I was shocked as I raced to d scene n held her hand and she was still warm n I kept shouting n telling d medics that she should be shocked as she's still warm n later they told me to leave her that they want to embalm n prepare her for mortuary.

Secondly, I entered d mortuary for d first time when my hubby had a fatal accident n was in igbobi,I prayed so much that particular night n had to enter d mortuary to order d corpses there that he wasn't joining them as I was led to do by d spirit. Till today couldn't believe I pulled that as naturally I wouldn't if not that the spirit of God overshadowed me.

I noticed this even in secondary school, both junior and senior secondary school. The only time intelligent males may get sexual attention is if they are very handsome, but they can't displace the bad boys and unserious students.

I don't think this is generally true. People considered me intelligent while in secondary school and I had most of the beautiful girls to my sides, even the seniors.

Webmasters / Do You Need A Website For Your Business? 7 Reasons Why The Answer Is Yes by micolaj: 8:43am On May 06, 2021
[/sub][sub][/sub][sub][sup][/sup]If your business has gotten this far without a website, you might be wondering: do I need a website for my business? What’s the point if my business is already successful without one?

The short answer is that there has never been a better or more important time to invest in a website for your business. A website offers a wide variety of benefits for small businesses, and most of these benefits increase in value exponentially year over year, just like the Internet itself.

Not convinced? I have collected seven of the biggest benefits your small business can receive from even a simple website:

1. A website makes you look professional
84% of today’s consumers think a website makes your business more credible than companies that only have social media profiles. Your website is also the perfect place to show off any professional certifications or awards your business has.

Beyond that, having your own website lets you create a branded email address (e.g. jacobajayi@yoursite.com) which adds a level of professionalism to all of your correspondence, especially if you’ve used a personal email address to conduct business up until now.

2. Your website can attract new customers through Google
You may be happy with the current size of your business, but every company experiences customer turnover. To encourage continued success, you need to attract new customers, and one of the best ways to do it is by making yourself visible on Google.

A well-optimized website can help your business rank well for a variety of search terms and attract a steady stream of new customers. There are several free SEO tools that make it easy to optimize your website without any prior training.

3. You can clearly showcase your products and services

You can show potential customers what they’ll get when they work with you by displaying high-quality photography on your website. Take a look at how the UK restaurant Blackhouse has accomplished this on its website.
You can also use your website design, along with the featured images, to give people a sense of what it feels like to enter your physical location. This works particularly well if your brand is closely tied to the “feel” of your location, like a restaurant.

4. You can display your best reviews and testimonials prominently on your website
Displaying your best reviews and/or testimonials prominently on your website is a great way to establish social proof. This might come in the form of personal customer testimonials.
Publishing your best reviews on your website also serves the secondary purpose of creating a permanent archive. This means that even if third-party review sites close at some point in the future, you’ll still have access to your best reviews.

5. A website can encourage customers to contact you

A website is a great place to make your contact information easily available to potential customers. You can even publish your contact information in a header or footer so it appears on every single page.
Modern website builders (more on those in a bit) also make it easy to create a contact form, which can protect your business email from spam.

6. Your website establishes your place in the industry

If your competitors aren’t online yet, they probably will be soon. Establish yourself as a leader in your field by building a high-quality website first. If your competitors are online, you have a different kind of opportunity: you can build a website that’s completely different from your competitors’ sites, showing potential customers what makes your company stand apart.

7. A website is no longer intimidating to create and manage

Modern website builder like Startweb Africa (you can try 14 days trial here: https://startweb.africa/ make it easy for you to build an attractive, mobile-friendly site without any knowledge of code. In other words, it has never been simpler to create a functional, aesthetically pleasing website.

"The folly of man’s nature lies in the belief that the loyalty quintessential to woman’s maternal instinct will be available within a romantic context. He believes rather foolishly, that as his mother loved him, the idealised girlfriend could. He sees how women love their children, and upon making such an observation concludes that women are capable of great love. This is true, they are. Only sadly, this great love is a love reserved solely for children, it extends not to man. As such, man has an idealisation of woman’s love, not a realisation."

CaveAdullam:
Well, I'm not an advocate of promiscuity in men even if it is instinctually wired in them, because when men begin to live according to this way, civilization will quickly run into a quicksand----and this is the problem we are facing today in the world----men becoming feeble without regards for their goals which is more higher than women. These men;simps as they are called will sacrifice their goals and youthfulness chasing women and doing anything to please them hoes.

Nevertheless, truth must be revealed. Men and women are not equal; psychologically, neurologically, biologically and cognitively. That is both genders are complementaries but WILL NEVER BE EQUAL.

A woman seeks a good provider, leader and protector role in a man, and will stick to this man for life because it is what tingles her v****a strings and causes vibration. But such kind of men are rare and for this reason---Women innate dual mating strategy; Alpha f^¢ks beta bucks. AKA Female Hypergamy.

A man will put a cutthroat to his promiscuity based on the love he has for his woman and on the grounds of morality/religion only if a woman can be able to seduce him with her feminine qualities. The women with a high dose of these untapped qualities are mostly virgins who grew up under the auspices of their traditional parents inculcating core values and tradtions into them, and educating them about sexual purity.

In the case above, love will flow naturally from the man to the wife without any thought of numero uno whorism in the mind of the man concerning his beloved wife.

Nature is already a sexist----why the f^¢k do men not have an hymen to determine their debauchery? It is an enigma for the feminists and they are foolishly led astray as a result of this cause.......looooool

Repentant hoes have a chance to lead a good marriage with simps but Kings has predilections for virgins with raw feminity only.

Men should pursue long term values for the sake of nature and civilization progress and not alter it in exchange for cheap hoes and their pu$$!es while women should seduce men with natural feminity within and outside marriage and not with useless feminism.

Thanks.

Good day.

May you live long.

Microwhy:

Please erase @bolded notion from your mind..
Some self taught programmer go as far back as learning what happen during compilation, what happen just before serial display... Some people have curious mind, so please don't underestimate the ability of self taught not just in CS related but every aspect of life. Some apply principle of reverse engineering during self taught. They will want to learn everything that has to do with that particular niche they are interested in. It will be foolish to challenge such people about their niche and everything that surround it.
Google and YouTube are more than any university degree, you can learn virtually everything you want.

This is me grin

I have always been curious and love self-learning since my ICAN days ( became a chartered accountant without attending tuition houses) and I carried the same curiousity into programming, from learning data structure and algorithm to learning functional programming, system architecture, at least all these in theories in my first two months before moving to vanilla JavaScript, react, nodes, express, mysql. Now, I'm building a SAAS product for SMEs to solve a particular problem (learn UX and UI on the way and I used Figma to concretise the idea before building), all of these in six months plus and I'm working full time.

Now tell me how efficient and effective I would be if I focus on programming in the next one year? It's not the degree or school. It's about what drive you. It's about the level of your curiosity. And coming from another field also helps self-taught to have more expansive view of the world the than Cs dudes.

My opinion.

kikero:

That's because the US is where China was in December.

Since then, China brought in measures like lock-downs (Wuhan was locked down for 2 months), extra testing (nowadays, people entering China are tested and quarantined till results come out)...and restriction in travels.

If the US had acted like China from January, they probably would have had less casualties.Instead many Americans were busy ignoring health warnings. Testing was not carried out on time. Trump too messed up a bit by not taking things serious. Then there are large incidences of hypertension, diabetes, obesity...all of which predispose to death from covid 19

(Russia on the other had was taking sterner measures by January..and even then has nearly 2000 cases. Taiwan already had a response setup...thanks to they being badly hit by SARS in 2003...lessons were learned.)

No political game here. Infact the Chinese economy has been hit badly and may take time to recover. Their manufacturing sector was out of action for 3 months...to the point that pollution levels in China massively declined. And with most of their customers out of action...what's the use of making things when no one can buy them.

Intelligent submission.

Education / Re: What Is The Difference Between A Civil Servant And A Public Servant? by micolaj: 6:59am On Jan 18, 2020
To answer this, we have to look at the domain of their assignment.

Civil servants work in institutions of government like ministries, departments and agencies, at both federal and state level. These institutions are necessary parts that make the machinery of government works.Examples of such institutions are ministry of finance, internal revenue service, etc.

While the public servants work at PUBLIC corporations. These corporations are created by the government for specific objectives. They are also run like normal business enterprise. They can generate profit, in form of surplus. Sometimes they are called government parastatals.Example include water corporation, government radio house, government television house, e.t.c.
