PoliticsRe: Restructuring: We’re Not Afraid, But Won’t Be Stampeded — Northern Elders by middlebelter(m): 11:26am On Sep 22, 2017
Although am from the political north, but I wish to state here that am from Middlebelt. In light of this declaration, my position on this matter is simple. Let the North continue with this game of hide and seek about restructuring, the key blame goes to the south. The leaders of South East and South West are the people that needs to seat down and draw a plan on how they will work together to achieve restructuring.
To say that the North is the most politically sophisticated region in this country is am obvious fact. The people in the Middlebelt are not happy with the domineering tendencies of the major tribe in the north, the but they are simply helpless. Any attempt to challenge the status quo has always been fiercely challenged by the Northern Power.

Just imagine a guy from the north on Channel TV trying to throw a religious division within Yorùbá or SW because of the call for restructuring through Ibadan declaration the other day? If the south desires restructuring, they must fight for it and only a united South can.

I hereby challenge the Governors, the National Assembly members and Ohaneeze Indigo, should do us a four as a country by ensuring the call for restructuring is pursued in unity with SW, SS and Middlebelt. This is what will help us to grow as a country.

You can imagine the quality of minds representing us as Senators?
How can you compare your office with that of a journalist? A journalist's salary is not been paid out of Tax Payers money, your is been paid. A journalist was not elected to be accountable to the public, Senators are.
To now say that the journalist (the fourth estate representating the public) is rude in asking you to disclose to us what we are suppose to know is like saying Nigerians are collectively rude and stupid?

Why will you be ready and willing to disclose to us in the first instance, is it not because your salaries and allowances violates good conscience in an environment as poor as Nigeria? Is is not because you people are treating us as captives in a war?

PoliticsRe: Tambuwal To Chair Northern Conference On Restructuring by middlebelter(m): 9:03am On Sep 11, 2017
This is another grand plan of the Caliphate to subjugate the minorities in the middle belt. I can read the names of a few members of Middlebelt origin that will be willing tools of oppression continue? undecided

We all know the anticident of Tambuwal who used Asiwaju Tinubu and dumped him when he needed his good gesture reciprocated. Or how do we explain the way AC mobilized all Yorùbá Hon members of House of Representatives in support of this Tambuwal against Mulíkàt Adeola their Yoruba counterparts in PDP, only for this Tambuwal mobilize against Asiwaju's, Gbajabiamila candidates in support of the current Speaker.

How I wish all Yorùbá leaders can close rank, negotiate better deals with SS, SE and Middlebelt to restructure Nigeria, implement true fiscal federalism and lay to rest all these acts of domination?

I have know doubt the North has huge potential in terms of human and natural resources, but the tendency of it's conservative leaders to perpetuate the strong centre that is only serving their own personal interests at the expense of the collective is a major concern. ON RESTRUCTURING WE STAND

PLEASE LIKE IF YOU SUPPORT RESTRUCTURING!
PoliticsRe: El-Rufai Kneels To Greet Oba Akiolu During Courtesy Visit In His Palace by middlebelter(m):
He has thought Tinubu sufficient lessons in collaboration with Tanbuwal and the whole country is leaking the wound of having a Bukola Saraki as Senate a president.
Now he's back in the game this time around to scuttle the widely published Ibadan summit. He has find in Akinolu a soft target to lead the opposition to restructing in SW. The seeming silence of Asiwaju is not helping the matter. After all, Akinola has demonstrated in word and action that he has no respect for the Yoruba race by saying Lagos does not belong to Yoruba and by disrespecting the Ooni.
El-rufai, this Ibadan declaration is not about party politics, the North may wave all the religious sentiments to cause disunity among the Yorùbás. IT HAD FAILED. ON RESTRUCTING WE STAND!
PoliticsRe: North Cautions Yoruba, Southerners On Clamour For 1963 Constitution by middlebelter(m): 5:28pm On Sep 10, 2017
Why will North not oppose restructuring? After the 1966 coup successive military regime has been giving north unfair advantage over the other regions that formed Nigeria. Just imagine the black-glass general, Sanni Abacha' giving Kano state 44 LGA and Lagos 22? This is after Jigawa state has been carved out if Kano. Another clear example is the unfair domination of government agencies or structures (NNPC recent appoint is a very good example)
Tell me why the North will support a structure that will reduce their dominance? No doubt North is the most sophisticated politically in this country. It is left for the middle belt, SW, ṢE & SS to unite and address this injustice or continue to allow North to dominate by fighting each other.
It is very funny if the North think it can use religion to divide the Yorùbás.

I just hope there are people sharing my concern on this matter? I know about Unilorin because am a product of the school, I don't know untill now the situation in UI and OAU.
The truth is that if we can not adapt our citadel of excellence to reflect our diversity, how then do we intend to solve the challenges in our society? Products of the institution we end up have deformed mindset about the other strata of the society?
I sincerely wish Nigeria well but it appears we are not sincere with ourselves.

Thank you for confirming my claim. I don't know what is happening in UI, but you certainly have confirmed that the plan at Unilorin is in response to what is happening in UI or I'm SE with little or no Islamic population. You certainly know that the Christian /Muslim ratio in Kwara state isn't that wide for a particular religion to lead for that long.
For the record, I have nothing personal against the VC, I hope he will sustain the raising profile of the school. Just that I believe in fairness and that institutions should be designed to respond to our diversity as a society. That is where our strength lies.

Since the time of Prof Oyinloye, the Muslim have perfected their plan to block Christians from becoming the VC of that university. This man will be the 4th consecutive Muslim VC. You want us to believe there is no Islamic agenda?
Visit the school website almost all the council members are Muslim. Prof Ọba planted them in strategic position and subsequent administration have perfected the plan. How do you want to debunk the claim of Islamic agenda?

We should do away with tribal sentiments and embrace the giant development strides taking place in Lagos which we expect to be replicated in other parts of the Country. Outside Nigeria, we certainly see Lagos as a unifying city, a blessing to the entire country.

It appears you didn't read the article well.

He is on the side of the consumers and if free entrance into the supply and installation of prepoaid meter is allowed, you can be sure it will checked the cheating from the Disco finally.

The moment Pdp's struggle comes to an end........ dieziani comes up all over the media..

Previous opec president
Prebious Minister - mines and steel
Previous minister - transportation
Previous Minister - Petroleum
High ranking - oil and gas coys board member international and local asides other sectors coys and member of their boards...
International accolades etc...

If kachikwu earned over $1m in mobil oil as Vp/mth, asides gifts and cashbacks, entitlements and PR. We are now talking about a woman who held positions miles ahead of that..

FAMFA oil and gas is the richest woman i guess, how did she amass her wealth, this is a woman who joined the oil and gas industry when dieziani was a very top ranking position with shell ?

We have not even asked questions about one time governors that turned multi billionaires and trillionaires or senators or old military men etc..

She might be guilty of crimes, charge her to court and win the case.. not all this propaganda here and there..

Personally, I like this woman and I have been struggling within my heart that let all these not be true. However, we can only do ourselves good by allowing justice to take its course against anybody found guilty.
Indeed, it is going to be in our collective interest if we can get any incrementing evidence against the ex-governors, politicians and ex-military turned businessmen above. Once there's equitable distribution of wealth, we are better off.

Why will Nigerian producers be taking businesses of production of films outside Nigeria to enrich the pockets of those who doesn't care about what happen to us and yet what Nigerians to pay for it. Am am against such attitudes. If they like let all the P squares in this word protest it. I don't care, Nigeria first.
