OP, can a non-member register online and be coming from home to attend the program?
Supposing am not able to come in person will you be streaming the program online, through radio broadcast or Television. Does your church have a dedicated satellite TV broadcast like RCCG or Deeper Life, for interested viewers within and outside Lagos State?
What about security arrangements for crowd control, CCTV etc?
May God bless the gathering as we all remember the solemn time the Son of God laid down His life for ours, may the Prince of peace speak peace to our country from North to South and East to West. May he heal our economy. Amen

Although my sympathy is with PMB, am angry with Mr President at the same time . PMB displayed pure political naivity when he allowed Saraki to emerge as SP to the discomfort of Nigerians.

Since he brought this upon himself and us as a people, let him solve the problem. He went about creating issues with his APC chairman and AGF in Kogi and Ondo state. He is CIC, if feel he can trust Saraki more than Tinubu, it's OK, he was there and watched them painting Tinubu black to make Saraki emerge? He should go back and read history of Kwara Politic by Saraki Senior, he will discover from the treatment of Late Alhaji Adamu Attah that all these meetings with Saraki Junior is a pure waste of time. Did his father not raise Adamu Attah's hand up in the presence of Alhaji Sagari as NPN candidate?

PoliticsRe: Dangote To Generate 12,000 Megawatts For Nigeria by middlebelter(m): 11:03pm On Mar 30, 2017
omohayek:
Well said! The problem right now isn't so much one of generation (although the pipeline vandalism isn't helping) as the poorly maintained national grid that all the gencos must work with. What magic is Dangote going to do to get around that?

I saw the same article that you mentioned on CNN. If the Indians have managed to get solar power to be so affordable, then that seems to be the ideal solution for Nigeria as well. The key issue will be whether operators are allowed to operate their own mini-grids, so they can spread their fixed costs over many customers, or whether they will be forced to feed their power into the same national grid that can't even handle the current power generation.
My take on this matter is simple. Lets encourage him to give us the 12000MW now, when you bring the N20 Indian model, we also grab it. 60% of our economic crisis today can be attributed to poor power supply.
We don't have to put Dangote supply on national grid that is not ready for it. Perhaps we can ring-fence Lagos-Ogun Industrial axis to take it. What that implies to me is that we can also ensure uninterrupted power supply if 50% of Dangote MW is discharged for industrial use just like Geometric has ring-fenced Aba. Egbin and national grid will take care of domestic users or combined.
Now imagine if all businesses in Lagos- Ogun axis don't have to worry about power supply which is also affordable. Nigeria economy will be transformed within a year. Does that not call for excitement?

If we can't condemn wrong doings of people because they occupy an office, you can be sure people will do anything possible to attain a position get there and misbehave because nobody can condemn them. That implies we should start killing each other to get to an office because when you get there nobody can condemn your wrong doings..

I am waiting on the "freedom of speech" activists to come cheer themselves over this obvious anomaly. Just look what Saraki has turned the Senate into.

This is highly disgraceful.

Saraki has officially become the proverbial maggot inside the corn. It is a pity Buhari, just for political correctness, hands off the NASS election. This would serve as a good lesson to whosoever would succeed him in that office.
BLAME PMB. All this rubbish was cooked by PMB, they warn him about the danger of having a Bukola Saraki as Senate President but he said he can work with anybody. He has weakness as a leader of ignoring looming danger. I read that he was warned when IBB was moving armour out of Armoury in 1985 but he ignored it, what a Tunde Idiagbon would never accept. PMB was warned when the economy was ebbing into recession, he ignored all the expert's advice on the economy and FX policy untill it became too late.
Tinubu and his strategist should better start looking for a younger vibrant replacement for PMB against 2019.
If you ignore warning signals, you will no doubt run into crisis.

Is this man really serious about what he's saying? Did he realise that we are now in the 21st century and the claim of 19 Northern state will fall like a pack of wool?

Let him know for the record, that the Hausa/Fulani power block that has been holding the north won't be able to hold back the so called North if the South should go. First, the middle - belt will separate from the NW Hausa /Fulani control. The Benue, Plateau, Taraba and part of Kogi and Niger state will separate from the Muslim Northern control because if Ango realises his dream, then the heardmen will only spend less than a year to eliminate non Muslims in the north.

Another issue is the ethics groups in the so called North. He should realise that in the event of breakup, the Yorubas in Kwara state and Kogi State will not go with the Ango's north. Consequently the South West will own the boundaries of River Niger from Jebba to Lokoja.
Finally, the economic implications, Ango's nortb will not have assess to any sea port and shall not be able to operate Inland water port linked to the sea without alliance with South, therefore, be guided.

HungerBAD:
Dino Maleye did not graduate, simple.

That the Vice-Chancellor said he graduated, is to save face and to a large extent, not let the world see the porous nature of the ABU, to prevent them from being the laughing stock of the Nigeria Academic Community.

I look forward to the Court Case.

The Court case, if eventually continued, will expose the duplicitous Character of the Vice-Chancellor. The Final Nail into his Coffin, will be his 1999 NYSC certificate, when he graduated in 2000. Maybe Dino is a TIME TRAVELER.

There are so many things wrong with this Dino Story.

Which transcript was sent to UNIABUJA?do 3rd Class Graduates go for straight Post-Graduate Degree's now?i mean how did somebody with 3 "O" Level WAEC credits end up as a Senator in Nigeria?

So KOGI STATE wants to tell me that it is this "ACADEMIC FRAUD" the best they have to offer?

I am starting to suspect that it is Aliens that live in Kogi State.

Abi no be them vote back Prince Abubakar Audu?even after looting the State to the ground? Same State that made somebody that was not even in the Country when an election was held, a Governor now? i started suspecting Dino was an illiterate when he openly boasted he will "FORCEFULLY" sleep with, and get REMI TINUBU Pregnant.
Your comment would have made a better impact without you necessarily castigate good good people from Kogi West.
As a good student of Nigeria Politics, or so I assume, I expect you to know that the choice of political leaders are not often made by the grassroots. It was a lot political manipulations that lead to the emergence of Dino Melaye as a Senator after the abysmal performance of Smart Adeyemi. Today the people of Okun land are lamenting their lots. They as a matter of fact have better educated people than the likes of Dino and Smart but such people will never be allowed to emerge just as the same power block will not allow Nigerians to produce the best hands and brains for the office of President than they type of PMB.

Therefore to further castigate the electorates in Kogi State on the matter is the height of insensitivity to the plight of the the oppressed and I hereby demand an apology from you on behalf of this good people of Kogi West, otherwise, I would simply wish your constituency worse representation like the type of Senator Dino. Someone that will go to National Assembly to fight and disgrace your people, yet only come back to move from lower chamber to upper chamber only to become appendage to the Senate President and his wife and then will make no feasible impact on your people. Insult upon injury. It hurts!!!.

Christianity EtcRe: The Redeemed Church And God On Opposite Paths by middlebelter(m): 2:56am On Mar 18, 2017
FreshGreen:
THE REDEEMED CHURCH AND GOD ON OPPOSITE PATHS

A proverb in Nigeria says, "When a plantain is spoiling, we say no, it is only ripping well" An unripe plantain is rich and contains several nutrients, and when it begins to ripe, it looses its nutrients and could cause health damages, but then it becomes finer, and sweeter; it becomes more presentable and attractive. The same thing is applicable with RCCG and many churches today. But the focus is on RCCG here. The founder of this church, Rev. Akindayomin, a man of holiness and righteousness, God called him and gave him a covenant church, that is Redeemed Christian Church of God - RCCG.

Then the church was unpopular because of its strict stand on holiness and righteousness. They were called "Gospel church" those who preached holiness and stood for it. They were not after materials stuffs, their sisters dressed godly, not flamboyantly, all of them were content with little and sharing with all. When their choir ministered, people bowed their heads in sober mood by the heavenly touch of the singing ministration, not like the jumping, shouting and crazy yelling with entertainment choir of today. Then companies were writing the church for employment because of the faithfulness and diligence of their members. I would not have joined them because of their standard of holiness since I was not saved then. That was the RCCG I knew when I was in Ilesha, Osun state in 1989 to early 90s.

But today, RCCG is more popular, richer and everywhere, in fact, they are proud of their parishes in every corner of Nigeria and many other countries, they are the fastest and still growing church, beautiful auditoriums everywhere. In Abuja here where I live, RCCG is like the richest church. But where are their godly virtues of old? They have exchanged their spiritual riches for materials and financial riches, they boast of financial riches while they are spiritually miserable. I lived in Redemption camp for full 6 months in 2010, and with what I saw in the dept of RCCG - the corruption, sexual immorality, unfaithfulness, etc. among the core leaders to the least members, I can categorically say this church is spiritually poor. A church where a music director wanted to sleep with a sister choir before permitting her to sing praise and worship at the Holy Ghost night? And God cannot open the eyes of the GO to discern or detect sins among people close to him and rebuke it openly as Apostle Peter did in Acts chapter 5, the GO can only discern blessings and upcoming prosperity?

Why has RCCG changed to opposite of where they stood before? Or why did Pastor Adeboye changed the landmark God gave to Rev. Akindayomin, which he upheld till he died? And you, you who were saved and brought up in the old faith when you were young, in secondary school and university fellowships, now you have joined the modern church system and worldly dress and have abandoned your beginning, seeing it as old school?

The Bible standard has gone elsewhere because of crave for population. If you are a member, worker or leader in RCCG, how many messages or books of Rev. Akindayomin do you have or have you read or listen to? Maybe none! RCCG is the only church where materials and works of the immediate past GO is evacuated almost completely. As if the books and messages of their founder who also was the immediate past leader were totally removed. None of his books or messages are promoted or reprinted, at least for every member to have access to the teachings and messages of the founder of their church. This present GO and admins will never do that, you know why? Their lifestyles, prayers and preachings are opposite the messages and standard of Rev. Akindayomin, so they CAN NEVER PROMOTE THE MESSAGES OR BOOKS of Pa Akindayomin in their present spiritual condition. Do you know any church on earth where the messages and books of the church founder and immediate past General Overseer is completely eradicated from the same church with no trace? Only in RCCG.

If God should open the eyes of Pa Akindayomin in heaven to see the church he left on earth, he will be weeping now, so also heaven is weeping on RCCG. But you are celebrating RCCG as a successful church, popular and powerful even to Aso villa here in Abuja.

The case of Pa Akindayomin and Pastor Adeboye is like the case of David and Solomon in the Bible. David fought the good fight of Faith, so also did Pa Akindayomin - we know how Pa Akindayomin started and how he ended well. But Solomon did no fighting, rather he did many buildings, from building Temple of God, to his personal buildings, to several idols, even to Chemosh - incessant building project is one of the signs of backsliding in any church. Solomon had many things, many wives, many riches, etc. just as there are many buildings and many members today in RCCG.

You must be happy of being a member or pastor of RCCG, especially if you did not witness the RCCG of old; because there is freedom, prosperity and promises and better life. No stress of holiness, no discipline of indecent dress, no restitution, everything is bureaucracy, and as long you can comply with the rules and regulations, you have no limit. But that will lead to where?

This is not the covenant church God used His servant Rev. Akindayomin to found, this is not the same church I knew in 1990, this is not the church of the Bible. Today, I will find it hard to join RCCG, not because of their high standard of holiness again, but because of their low and poor standard of holiness.

You can be very zealous to condemn this article, to choose to defend your GO rather than defending the truth. If you were not in RCCG about 20 years ago, then you may lack understanding of the beginning of RCCG, go and ask the elders who witnessed the beginning and strength of RCCG as a true covenant church of undiluted truth and holiness of heavenly minded church.

If you know where God began with you, where God was pleased with you that He made COVENANT with you, then that may help you to know where you have missed it along the way, and where you need to trace you way back. God is waiting for you at the point He made covenant with you, and same thing with Pastor Adeboye and RCCG as a whole. Go back to the old faith, the narrow old path of FEW serious minded, and stop defending this broad MULTITUDE, MANY faulty modern way before it is too late. The Rapture of the saints is imminent!

" Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’— and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and Unclad— 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your unclothedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent." Revelation 3:17-19

Gideon Akande
RTEM: rtemoutreach.org
Permit me to start by saying am not a member of RCCG and am not sure I have attended RCCG church services more than 3 times. I agree with you that RCCG like many other churches need spiritual cleaning of members and that Jesus Christ is only interested in the members of the inner church, those that have been saved, (experiential) from sin.
Now my point of disagreement with you on this matter is this, when you noticed the atrocities in the RCCG camp what did you do to correct it? Before you amend pastor Adeboye for not seeing it God has made you to see what he didn't see as a GO what did you do about the knowledge you have? God will only judge individually for our actions or inactions.

Did you propose a review of standard monitoring mechanism that will help eliminate such act. A church is divided into two two parts of teaching : the doctrine and the traditions of the church. Doctrines are based on fundamental teaching of Jesus and gospel e. g, ye must be born again. - doctrines cannot change except when it's not in conformity with Bible and you now correct to make it conform with the Bible. However, the traditions can change. The traditions are way a church operate to helps her and members keep the doctrines.
Now if pastor Adeboye has not changed the doctrine, then be careful how you criticise him. You should also not be found wanting in crying out against sin and any sinful habits. One way to do it is to constantly live a sinless life at individual level and preach holiness at church level.
Remember that everybody that enters a church shall give account of his /her stewardship.

Please note am not trying to condemn you, but am saying we should be circumspect when bringing out the flaws of the church because it is not everyone that is seen what you have seen but everyone that reads your comments may not be edified. Like he told Elijah, when he was fleeing from the presence of Jezeebel. He said he still have 7000 prophet that has not bowed to baal.
Finally, it is our collective responsibility to pray for revival in our churches in Nigeria.

Daura keeps sending reports to Saraki against PMB 's wish or so we are made to assume and PMB is helpless why Magu bears the embarrassment.

The scars come resemble tattoo sef
If you like to have that type of tattoo, it's simple just go near any military barrack in Nigeria, run your mouth against any military man in uniform and you will be thoroughly decorated. Thank me latter. grin

Customs is a uniformed organization. If all his subordinates have to wear uniforms everyday, why should he, as head of customs get a pass to be wearing kaftan to work. Imagine the head of army, navy air force, road safety doing that...

This only happens when you start importing people to head important institutions. if a civilian cannot become COAS...why should you bring an outsider to head customs. That is indirectly putting a cap on how high career custom officers can reach, because comptroller general is a rank..
While the man's attitude is provoking all of us to anger, it appears non of us including the Nigerian Senate is directing our anger to the appropriate section. PMB, appears to be completely loosing control of his appointee or so it appears. If his appointee is saying he can't wear the uniform of an organisation he's heading he shouldn't be waiting for the Senate to booth him out. He certainly is not the only one that can transform the Custom Service. The second case is very closely related. How can DSS be writing the Senate not to confirm an appointee of PMB. The first and the second time? Can we really say, PMB is in control of his government or is it a case of incompetence on his part? Was the Director of DSS not also appointed by the same PMB or could he be playing a game with Magu?. #PMBhaslostcontrol#

This nonsense has to stop .. why are soldiers even interacting with the civilian population ...The Govt has to make summary dismissal mandatory for any soldier that lays his hands on a civilian in a civil setting ..Soldiers must know that they are not above any law anywhere
I totally agree with you. It appears the punishment for such contravention of rule is so mild that they can choose to take it for granted.
These days making attempt to video cover their atrocities is like attempting suicide. COAS, COAS,, and minister of Defence are we completely helpless?
