I hope this reduces his body odour.
I hope you know this man is old enough to be your father? Now imagine your father as the president or vice president of this country and someone now using this kind of foul language against him, how will you feel,?

We are Nigerians, please let's be decent even in our anger. It doesn't matter how you feel, let's remember that it's not only Nigerians reading these comments, some of these comments may come back to hurt is tomorrow outside this country. Imagine a South African calling your vice president a smelling VP. No matter how much you disagree with the government, you will feel offended and want to fight back. That is when you will know that been a Nigerian first matter.

I find it very difficult to understand the quality of people invading this forum to insult Prof Soyinka? I wonder what had happened to our sense of value. How on earth will people be supporting the like of Dino Melaye against the internationally respected scholar? How has Dino added value to Nigeria compared with the Prof or how do we explain the attack on his person considering the condemnations of an act that is indeed an insult to Nigerian.
Again, I strongly suspect the children attacking the octogenarian simply lacks sense of history and it a manifestation of gross parental failure. May we not lack elders like Prof Wole Soyinka in our society. People that will boldly condemn the ills in our society.

I sincerely hope and pray this report is not true.
If it's true, then this woman has caused serious problem for her husband. Tinubu and Fashola's wives are Christians married to Muslims, they didn't cause any problem in the church, Tinubu and Fashola will not remove an Immam because of their wives. Mr Governor, God is the one that elevated you over and above your rivals, please don't allow anybody to make you ridicule God under any circumstances.

You claim Osinbajo is very corruption, do you have any evidence of corrupt enrichment against him? Even the OP that named him among the people that appealed to Kano state house of assembly how sure is he about the source of his information?
I think Sanusi should stop running his mouth anyhow since he is also not clean. I remember what he did to GEJ, perhaps nemesis is after him?
PoliticsRe: Abolish States, Adopt 6 Geo-political Zones As Federating Units – Atiku by middlebelter(m): 11:22pm On May 23, 2017
Atiku Abubakar can say anything, he has his freedom of speech. Can we ever take him serious? Perhaps if we lack sense of history about his personality.
The present 6 geo-politixal zone is a creation of Abacha administration, the worst administration in the history of our dear country. The zones were created without the consent of Nigerians and it was skewed along with LGA to favour the North. Take for example, Kano has 44 LGA while Lagos have about 22 LGA.
In the same vein people been lumped into a region or state they don't want to be and boundaries are also not consistent with ideal and history. For instance, Nigeria was formed on a tripod of N, W and E. You have created three regions out of North and three out of West and East. What it implies is the North is now 50% of the country. This is not consistent with amalgamation. Also, the N, used military power in collaboration with UK to give undue boundary advantage to the north. In geography, rivers are natural boundaries, and international rivers like Niger and Benue shouldn't be an exception. The arguments that North extends to Kwara and Kogi in SW geographical zone is nothing but an aberration, and if Atiku intends to consolidate all the historical mistakes and errors, let him know that it shall not be allowed to go uncontested. North is north the of Niger and Benue.

Lastly, the North Central will be addressed as middlebelt and not North Central.

After a visit to Ota, another to his Ikoy's neighbour, with an outstanding performance as Anambra Governor, he's undoubtedly the best presidential material from SE. Christianity EtcRe: Photos Of Assemblies Of God Members Dancing After Supreme Court Victory by middlebelter(m): 6:22pm On May 18, 2017
When a church decides to approach a court to settle ecclesiastical disputes, contrary to the laid down procedure of our Master and Saviour in the the Holy Bible, that disputes should be resolved by Church herself, then it can be safe to conclude that the "presence of God has departed from the Camp", as it did when the children of Isreal sinned during their pilgrimage to Cannan land.

It is better for both the Clergy and the Lythans to return to Bethel and seek God's forgiveness and be sure they have been forgiven for dragging the gospel in mud. In fact the church should apologise to the body of Christiandom in Nigeria through CAN, reconcile with their former leader and persuade him. to accept retirement, before coming out to dance. Matthew 5:23 "Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest ... and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift."
Word spoken directly by the mouth of God the Son, second in the trinity.

OLAADEGBU:
It is good to ask seekers to experience your God in order to find out the correct religion but should the sincere seeker also apply that logic to other religions? Should he/she also experience other religions in order for them to arrive at the right conclusion? A better approach to answering the OP is to tell us the world religions and how Christianity could be described as the world's most testable religion. See the videoclip below for instance:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UndVaMDhiY
I have told you my personal experience. This experience is based on the Bible and in my Bible I read, " I am the way, the truth and the life no. Man cometh unto the father but by me". JOHN 14:6. If the essence of religion is to see God after death and be saved from eternal punishment, I think it is a wise thing to use a reliable formula not trial and error that can lead to error of eternal consequence. My experience was premised on the formula in the above Bible passage. I hae tried it, it works. If you are therefore sincere in finding a reliable answer to your question, I recommend once again you try my formula. Going g after other religious formula, I can't recommend, because it's not consistent with the formula which I have tried and is working. Also read Matthew 7:13,14. "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are ..."
AM appealing to you to strive to enter in, once you are, you won't have any reason to doubt if it's right or wrong.
PoliticsRe: Attack On Tinubu/Akande/Yoruba Over Buhari's Health: One Ingratitude Too Many by middlebelter(m): 6:08pm On May 04, 2017
When some of us from Middlebelt talk about the plan of Hausa/Fulani to continue to dominate this country, our Southern countrymen always think we are alarmist. If there's any tribe that has made genuine efforts to unite Nigeria, it's the Yoruba.
It was OBJ a Yoruba man that championed the emergence of GEJ as President, but because he condemned the recklessness of GEJ administration, he instantly became sworn enemies of Edwin Clark and the likes. You have rightly captured the situation with PMB, today, he choose to favour his Northern kinsmen more than any part of the country, recruiting 51 candidates for DSS job from Katsina state, a number that is higher than the whole South East combined. Why will they not want him to stay-put? We are not unsuspicious of events in the military that are to the detriment of other regions.
Tambuwal thought Asiwaju a hard lesson also. Asiwaju mobilize the whole forces of ACN in support of Tambuwal against a Yoruba woman. (I mean how better can you define political support/commitment?) Yet, when the pay back period came, Tambuwal choose to support Yakubu Dogara.
South East has demonstrated enough frustration with the Union called Nigeria, core North of Fulanis appears not to care about what other major tribe are complaining about, South West keeps mediating. However, soon and very soon if we don't pray and work towards it by making sure the Fulanis change their domineering tendencies, there may be no Nigeria again. I am not an alarmist, neither am I praying it should happen but the Fulanis cannot continue to kill us in the middlebelt, rule us at the centre and PMB will continue to act as if it doesn't matter.
Finally, let there be a geniue census in this country under the watch of international monitors, the census should specify Tribe, Religion etc. This is what will help us confront our fears and decide how best to plan.

OLAADEGBU:
Thanks for telling us how to become a Christian. You are yet to tell us how we can determine why Christianity is the correct religion.
Your knowledge of any subject, situation or event can be best with experience. I have told you my experience, and how you can have the same experience. When you have a born again experience, the spirit of the living God will convince you that you have the real religion, but he right relationship with your maker, not only that, the Holy Spirit will make you know that it's the God of heaven talking to your heart. The truth is you can only understand it best by trying it. You word, coined with alphabet can true describe the peace that will come to your heart and convince you that you are now a child of God, you now have a place with God if you should die. The spirit will tell you that you are not just a church goer, you are on a pilgrimage to heavenly Canaan.
I implore, just try my God. Don't wait for a friend, go all alone to meet him in your room, ask him to forgive all the sins you have ever committed, speak from the bottom of your heart, be sincerely sorry. Listen to his voice talking to your heart, he will take control of your thought as you seek him in sincerity. It is real. THEY WAY YOU CAN KNOW THE TRUE RELIGION IS TO TRY PRAYING TO GOD IN JESUS NAME CONFESSING YOUR SINS, ASKING FOR FORGIVENESS UNTIL YOU ARE TRULY FORGIVEN.

I implore the police to do a thorough job, or why will the Senator allow his security attaché lodge in hotel outside his house when the Senator is at home? Of what value is the Police escort?
I want to state categorically, I have never met the Senator nor the LGA chairman, but as an elder, I will want to appeal to the Senator to reconcile with his brother and let there be peace.

Christianity EtcRe: With All Of The Different Religions, How Can I Know Which One Is Correct? by middlebelter(m): 3:59pm On Apr 29, 2017
I know my own is correct I will therefore encourage you to try this.
First am a Christian, and you can have a confirmation in your heart that Christianity is not only true but have a real assurance in your heart that if you die after being a genuine Christian you will go to heaven. How?

Just go all alone into your room, close your eye and pray from the bottom of your heart confessing all your known sins, including what you may term as small sins like telling lies, etc tell God if He will forgive you for the sake of Jesus who died on the cross for you that you will never commit any of those sins again. As you are confessing one, the spirit of God will be reminding you of others, just own up, if you continue with sincerity you may not know when you will start weeping in confession, but a joy, an instantaneous one will come into your heart affirming that your sins has been forgiven. That is what is called salvation or experiential born again.
When you have this experience, the spirit of God will start ministering unto you beyond all forms of doubt that you not only a child of God, but you are a heaven bound Christian.
Old things will pass away, behold all things become new.
After that experience, you can ask God to lead you to Bible believing church, where you will know more of God's word and serve Him untill you get to heaven. He will lead you. Remember theres no perfect church on earth but we have the church within the church, these are the real Christians going to heaven, they have peace of God in their heart.
Wouldn't you try this? It works, it's real. God bless you are you call on Jesus right away, he will save you, he will forgive you, his power is still the same today.
Try it. God bless. I shall be waiting for your testimony

This guy should be told to go and hide his shameless face. Nigerians are not celebrating Quest because he's gay, Nigerians are happy to be around him because of his professional reporting skill in CNN.
Let it be made known that much as people are happy to welcome him to Nigeria, that love and sense of welcome will fizzle out in a second if he dares exhibit that demonic habit called gay in our street.

Be guided, Nigerians are not stupid to embrace every stupid thing from the West. Our law is against it, it is against our traditional values, it is against our religious practices and so, we are proudly Nigerian against GAY.

Ovokoo:
Popular Nigerian gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi took to instagram to vent at the behavior of Nigerians for treating CNN business reporter, Richard Quest differently despite the fact that he's Gay.

"So I heard Richard Quest is in Nigeria and as usual, my people are drooling over him. These are the same Nigerians that will not allow an openly gay person on their screen, or even give one a job. What is different about Richard Quest that makes his homosexuality harmless but my homosexuality as a Nigeria scary and threatening? Is it that my people think my homosexuality is in some way earth destroying but that is Richard comforting or as a people we just lack pure emotional intelligence to appreciate our own? My heart bleeds for Nigeria, it does make me cry for my LGBT brothers and sisters."

We are Nigerians, it happens we use USA as a good example of freedom of press, but not a perfect example especially with a Donald Trump.

If I may ask you, who gave that freedom of expression in the first place? Do you think it's PMB OR APC? I voted and campaigned for PMB but today, I feel very disappointed especially with the like of that CSO surrounding him thinking they can gag our freedom to know. They forgot so soon that it's because we could express ourselves freely that their boss is able to seat in So Rock? Our freedom was given to us by the people of Nigeria plainly inscribed in our constitution. We shall contest any attempt by any CSO or their likes to gag it. Nobody, I repeat nobody can drag us back. Chloride6, gnykelly & deflover. I want you to understand my position on this matter, am not suggesting that the market is perfect, I have been a professional broker trading on the floor of The Nigerian Stock Exchange since 2005, market infractions always received the appropriate sanction as stated in NSE rule or application IST if reported. The case of AP/Dangote price war was properly addressed and appropriate sanctions were applied. Today the two principals of the companies involved are best of friends and working together to move Nigerian economy forward. Please don't levied in the past.
We want to think Nigeria and be positive about our country.

Imagine a Dangote Refinery with, Gas, Petrochemical plant, Power Generation, etc working. Imagine a situation where we don't have to spend a dim to import refined Petroleum products, what do you think that will do to the value of naira, job creation and investors confidence?
