DonroxyII: I dont think the issue is root or culture. I think it is more of Bag gangs and lack of attention and monitoring . lack of adequate parental intervention.... Drugs .... This dude do drugs !!
In Nigeria, some rich kids are also like this dude but the system will never imprison them while some poor kids have also gone astray and the system has punished and repunished them ...
I will always advise kids of Africa origin in Obodo Oyinbo to visit Africa once in a while in order to understand their privileged.... Nonetheless, Visiting is not enough unless they pass through the system! Lol we are saying the same thing Yes, thats what i dont understand... people condemn foreign-born children but children of rich nigerians can also be extremely crazy...they just manage to wriggle out of everything because of their background While the law abroad will treat almost everyone the same except if theyre extremely wealthy... what I was saying to that guy was that bringing them back once in a while may help some kids who feel lost or alienated by the culture of the country in which theyve found themselves, but its not a dealbreaker. We dont know if this boys mother has brought him back before and it had no effect on him |

I take piriton when I have sinusitis and other allergies. Well if the Sunday Sunday is working, do you really want to change it? Its sounding ok the way youve described it For allergies I would suggest you see a doctor and ask for another antihistamine since the Piriton is giving you trouble |

kid09077979444: Umahi is a total failure, the reason most people don't know is that Ebonyi state is dominated by illiterate population. Ebonyi is actually a very backward state, even worse than Bornu state.
Take for instance Nairaland, there are not up to 10 people from ebonyi on this forum, because they are mostly nomadic in nature like their cousins in the north. Lol "wawa boy" better keep kwayet, you wont know who is from where on this forum unless you ask So how many wawa Nsukka/Nkanu people are here? Who are actually just as uncivilised, if not more, than Ebonyi? Better forget that thing |

The boy looks like the tired and weary 18 year old that he is, how do you want him to look He looks 18, he just hasnt slept Plus black boys who eat enough proteinous food and/or exercise look mature for their age...our genes make us good for sports The way our children look in this country is not how theyre supposed to look... na sufferhead do am... |

luiscarter: The problem is that most ppl that have a children over there, don't bring there kids home, if the come home atleast once in a while, the will get to know responsibilities awaits them too We still have criminal 18 year olds here who are not trained properly or who suffer a lack of opportunity The issue is more of culture clashes, living in rough neighbourhoods and parents not paying enough attention to their kids while trying to hustle... some of them have never been back to Nigeria and theyre doing fine... A 3 week holiday to Nigeria can only solve so many things, but I somewhat agree with you that showing a child their roots can help them to make something of themselves |

Blackmiserable: Than you night owl. In Nigeria, it's quite strange as you also agree with me, to have a kid by choice and not by happenstance. Well we are trying to change that perception by promoting good family planning. That happenstance attitude is one of the reasons the country is failing. We have too many children that we cant take care of |

One of her daughters is in fourth marriage now Of course... ive witnessed such in my own family... the effect on the daughters even more than 15 years later is extremely terrible.
