Christianity Etc › Re: 20 Points From 1 Corinthians 14 About Speaking In Tongues In The Church by Mike4S: 5:48pm On Mar 08, 2020 |
It is true that the bible says that if you are not a man of the spirit you cannot understand the spirit things. Even with this, I kept asking myself if speaking in tongue is something one can just start anytime he wants it. I'm asking this because I've been in a church where the person at the altar said that everybody should pray in tongue. I did not pray because I can't fake. Another thing that is confusing me is the praying tongue that was recorded in the Acts of the Apostle that I've never encountered. The people prayed in the tongue that listeners understood but I'm yet to see where I understand one |

Aystarz: When somone has to go this route to defend dodgy remunerations, know for sure that he or she is no different than the teeming cruel school owners in this country, who know nothing more than to feed fat from the labour of their unfortunate employees. Your cup will be full someday.....yours and your ilks'! Those school owners will remain stagnant for the hardship they are causing for those working under them. I have taught in schools and the best among them is the one that I'm teaching now. The Proprietress method of payment is simply the best. Unlike some that don't allow school lessons she allows it without demanding the usual percentage some used to demand. For the first time, I saw a school that is paying additional money outside salary. Say for example, N60K is just N80K. Before I digress, those employers of labour are wicked. Imagine somebody is not paying holiday's salary and somebody is here defending them. Because of their notoriety for such treatment, those teachers they are maltreating/have maltreated will always direct parents to take their children elsewhere. You cannot eat your cake and have it. |

Buffoons You should also tell us your own state let's know if your people have no people like the killer here. Your nescience of state creation has exposed your understanding of the people you feel you are better than. Before 1991 the same Ebonyi people you are condemning were in the same state with you. So can you now see how you've exposed your ignorance. If you need to be educated more I will offer it to you free of charge here. |

Umahi should be blamed for imposing him to the LCDA. The Unwana community I know once burnt their house but the government of Umahi has empowered them such they can do anything and go scot-free. The younger brother AKA Terror is also part of Umahi's led government. Let's watch and see how Umahi is going to react. |

All these hungry non education graduates are the reason why some employers of labour are paying peanut to teachers. They will go and take the job hoping to use it as a stepping stone. It is very rare to find an education degree certificate holder that knows his onions that is condescending to that low. Even my after school lesson is equal to some amount some employers are quoting here. How can one survive with that amount |

I came back from the the church on Sunday only to see my apartment rummaged. My gas cylinder that I just filled, my new electric iron that is still intact in the packet, my new stainless vacuum cup, aso ebi 2 each 6 yards and Polish and brush were all carted away.
What really surprised me is my key being intact and no sign of break and enter from any part of the apartment.
Air of mystery still surrounds how my apartment was robbed.
I want to go and just drop statement with the police. Hope that one will be welcomed? Guys I need your contributions. I just packed in there. It's somewhere opposite Lagos Business School along Lekki Epe express way |

I used another line and called him he answered the name and I reminded him of his failed shady deal. To make it short he cut the call |
Investment › Who Else Has Received This Type Of Call? by Mike4S(op): 6:18pm On Dec 10, 2019 |
In the call, the caller will pretend as if a person had mistakenly sent some recharge cards that worth thousands of Naira. You'll be caught unaware and wondered when such message came in. Just when you drop the call, the message will come in. In the message, figures numbering up to five recharge cards will display. The caller had already informed you and begged you to not use it that it was an elderly person that mistakenly sent it.
WHY I'M POSTING THIS I first received such call on September and my naivety did not allow me to notice what I'm yet to know about it. I called the guy back and he handed the phone over to the said elderly person and he showered praises on me. Fortnight time, my second line received the same call and having heard such before, I spat fire on the caller. Today, my neighbour received the same call. I collected the phone and warned the guy seriously. It was such that he did not stand my animadversion. He quickly cut me short of words. Important question looms in my mind. Who else has received such call. I'm worried because those guys behind it may have ulterior motive |

vikkimimi: piercings does not mean a girl is loose or an OLOSHO as you call it, it's all about taste and fashion, and other times out of curiosity....same way most guys love to have tattoos, but tattoos seem costlier than having multiple piercings that's why most guys haven't gone for it.
A girl can have multiple piercings and still be more ethical than a girl without one. Don't rewrite the bible verse that says "By their fruit we shall know them". Those daughters of Jezebel should be condemned and not commended |

Abdulqareem: May the good Lord bless you sir. Imagine? Let those who are attacking the TRCN boss go to the hospital to perform surgery or better still, go to Bar school with their precious BA in English or literature.
Sincerely, if this what it takes to get rid of the accidental HND or BSc whatever teachers, then so be it. It is an absolutely travesty of respect to come online and demote education graduates. I don't deny the fact that some people cannot defend their certificate but why calling those that had majors in education names. They have forgotten that it was a non education graduate that was not able to teach children Roman Numerals while undergoing NYSC. Now everybody is out to take teaching job with that fallacy that those that majored in education are not capable. I want them to know that high level of unemployment is the reason why they have taken to teaching not that they are employed because education graduates can't do well. Enough of these arrogant stereotyping of education graduates. If I am indignant, it is because of the stereotype. |
Education › Re: Teachers Registration Council Says Unqualified Teachers To Go In December by Mike4S: 6:54pm On Nov 30, 2019 |
Those who are here protesting should go and direct their protests to the right quarter. December 31 has come to stay for the charlatans to be weeded out of classrooms. Teachers are made not born. All sides of every education debate admit that.
As for the fallacy that non education graduates do better than their educated graduate counterparts, it's somewhat presumptuous to assume that you know about medicine than your doctor. It is a lie from those interlopers that have come to take what rightly belongs to teachers that have education degree. There's no way a dabbler in education will know the pedagogy better than those that were tutored in universities and colleges of education.
These set of people that are here attacking the post are the ones that have spoilt the education sector. They are foisted with worksheets in private schools and yet they admit it just to keep their job. They are the ones that dance to the tune of proprietors no matter what. So many rots they have introduced in the system that I cannot say here.
Other professions like law, engineering , etc. have their professional body and you did not complain. Now you are complaining of teaching that have provided PGDE that can accommodate you. In law, there is no such thing like PGDE. It is either you go back and start from 300-level or you leave it.
Go to your field if you don't like TRCN. It has come to stay. We are tired of interlopers like you that have come to take what rightly belongs to us. |
