ositadima1: Lol, now you get what I’m saying. I thought you said your Ichimoku indicator predicted a crash? That’s not going to happen. Just like commodities and services have repriced, the stocks will reprice too. As long as these companies are generating cash flow, their stocks will eventually catch up — all of them.
I tell people: if you’re holding stocks that haven’t moved yet but are delivering decent returns, just be patient — they’ll move. It’s not magic or voodoo; it’s simple common sense.
Look at Hero beer — the one I used to buy for ₦300 is now ₦1,000. You think the stock will stay where it is or fall? Habba!!! Big men full this country and NL ooo! Bottle of Beer for N300, and then N1,000!. Me wey I dey complain that bottled water of N200 does not make sense! God dey! |

So much for Yoruba brotherhood ''Ghana must go'' was FGN policy decision. The Ghanaians don't have any problems with Yoruba people who have been living in Ghana for more than 100 years |

ogaemma: The hatred South Africans have for Nigerians know no bounds. They have forgotten so soon how Nigeria stood beside them to fight Apartheid. Bunch of ingrates. Is helping them a license for Nigerians to go and commit crime and other atrocities in their country? Stop this nonsense talk about helping SA during apartheid! Is Nigeria the only country that helped them? Several other African countries and even Cuba helped them more than Nigeria did but their citizens do not commit the crimes in the country. Must they fold their arms and watch Nigerians destroy their country because we helped them 50 years ago? But I agree that thy should not have treated a dead man like that! We will all die one day, whether home or abroad. |

unite4real: Boss they did o.
2008 stock splits 2010 stock split and bonuses 2011 stock split 2012 stock split 2025 you know they have started too.
From 2005 they were consistent with dividend until 2014. They paid a cumulative total of around N25 during the period.
Let's do the maths.
Holding 10,000 units 20 years ago at N97.50 amounts to N975,000
Fast forward to today 10,000 X 3 = 30,000 bonus and split This units multiplied by current price of N54.20 = N1,626,000
Dividend of N25 multiplied by prorated number of units during the period should not be less than N600,000
By the time the dividend amount is added we get the picture.
By the way I do not own oando and never wished to. Thanks for this info and break down. It adds a new dinensiona to the discussions about Oando. |

It's like you don't know what 500B and 100B naira from only 2 junk companies has caused in the system
Who wants to carry last. You can only talk of pullback for Vfd but not looking for it at N10.
Don't be surprise to see Vfd at N25 before any significant bullback VFD closed N13.60 today. But I agree that it can get to N25 |

Slytiger: Ya. The ga king was even recently in ife to pay homage to the Ooni of ife. During the inauguration of the president of Ghana early this year, the Ga king also invited the Ooni who travelled all the way to Ghana for the event.
The Ga are owners and first settlers of Accra hence the Akwaaba (Eka abo) at their Airport. There are many Yorubas words they still use till date. Akwaaba not a Ga word. |

GothamCities: Hello Pet lovers,
My son has been disturbing me to get him an Eskimo puppy. I have been reluctant about the request because of the dangers they may pose.
But I chances upon some Eskimo puppies yesterday in Ibadan, and they're very beautiful and adorable. I'm tempted to buy.
The seller is quoting 150k. Am I getting it at a good price? Do you think Eskimos are harmless with nothing to fear about the furure? These puppies whose photos appear below are almost 5 months old. What advice do you have for me please? Are there any medical precautions I must take?
Thanks in advance. Please I would suggest you consult people who know much about dogs and pets. The puppies in that your picture look like cross breeds of wolf and dog, and I do not know how safe or friendly they might be with kids or neigbhours when they grow up. Please seek professional advice before you buy and put them in your house. Consult a veterinary doctor and dog experts |

SonofElElyonRet: Sold my VFD when bonus landed as well as other stocks to buy caverton and ci leasing.. I however think it has sound fundamentals/huge prospects and provided they stop giving huge bonus issues, the price should appreciate.. na the massive back to back bonuses crash price like this. I will repurchase next week God willing... If I get funds.. it somehow gives peace of mind. No drama.. and potential to rally high is there if bonus issues are suspended or drastically reduced to like 1 to 4 or 1 to 5 or so, instead of the 4 to 5 and 5 to 1 wey dem do back to back I did a few checks on VFD and discovered they have solid fundamentals. I was surprised to know that they did 5:1 bonus last year |

bastardson: Thanks a lot. I would put more into PZ.
Do you see Oando going lower than its current price? Oando, like any other stocks, can still go lower than its current price depending on what happens in the market. Again, the oil and gas industry responds to some global geopolitics. . If you want to really invest in Oando, I would suggest you adopt a long term strategy and be convinced that you understand the prospects and associated risks in the medium to long term. If not, you may panic and sell off prematurely when the price nosedives. DYOR / NFA |

bastardson: Is Oando a good buy at this current price guyz?
About to enter into it for the first time ever
Oando or PZ? Incidentally, PZ is in a similar situation like Oando some months ago i.e. they are contemplating about delisting but the shareholders/SEC rejected the move. But if you prefer to invest in fundamentally sound stocks, go for PZ. It should be at par or higher than Cadbury in price. PZ will most likely double in price soon and they pay dividends regularly If you can take risk and have money to invest for a longer time, go for Oando. The financial results are improving and it could rally if there is further news about raising capital or acquisitions. You may also qualify for future share redistribution. |

gidgiddy: In Africa? Which law back that one? Albert Apoozore is a Ghanaian musician that goes bu the name "King Ayisoba". So if he decides to relocate to Senegal tomorrow, he should be locked up for referring himself as " 'King'? What kind of argument are you making here? Is King Ayisoba claiming to be king over a kingdom, a people living on a land, a tribe, territory or town or clan in Ghana? There is another musician bearing the name King Promise in Ghana. Is he claiming title over any group of people or tribe living on a land or kingdom? Also, is King Sunny Ade or King Saheed Osupa or King Wasiu Aynde claiming to be king over a group of people living over a land or kingdom in any state in South-West? Once you call your self ''king'' claiming to be the over lord or ruler over a tribe or people living on a land or territory, you are disrespecting the original owner and king of the land. How you could equate that to the showbiz stage name of musicians is more than ridiculous! |
