What would be the benefit or reward to the shareholders who had not received dividend for several years? Remember those shares actually belong to the shareholders, as owners of any residual rights/value in the firm, in the real sense.
In my view, it is better to first reward shareholders who had sacrificed for the company, before making moves to offer new shares to new investors or the public. That also serves as indication or evidence that the company is serious about rewarding its shareholders when opportunity arises.

5) If all plans are successful, it will address only 11.4% and 8.4% of the 2025 and 2026 funding gap!

OandO right now is financially insolvent!

As per the various deals, nothing new. From the Abo acquisition, to the listing on Johannesburg stock exchange to the reverse acquisition on Toronto Stock exchange to the Conoco philips acquisition etc none has delivered value to shareholders. The stocks market is not only about buying stocks that are doing well currently with good fundamentals . It also involves taking calculated risks and positioning oneself in stocks in key sectors that are undervalued due to some temporary challenges.
No company listed in the upstream oil sector of the NGX has ever been liquidated or collapsed because of insolvency or bankruptcy. In the worst case scenario, Oando would be acquired by another upstream company and the net worth will be more than N200 per share.
The company has reserves that can generate net casflows of $11billion i.e. about N17 trillion!

At a time, BCC (Benue Cement Co.) was selling for about N2-N3 per share when it was struggling facing huge financial challenges and it was acquired by Dangote Cement. Go check the price today.
That is how some people make their billions for ever in the market.
What is required is enough capital injection to turn things around.

Iran cannot win this war until if it cannot shoot down the warplanes of Israel.
So far, Iran has not been able to shoot down a single Israeli warplane. They cannot be firing misfiles at Israel for ever. They will soon run low or out of the missiles and that would be very bad for them because Israel would bombard them from all corners from the air. You cannot lose your airspace and win a war in the air.
The only major problem that Israel will have is how patient and how long their ciitizenss would support the government and cope with the casualties in this fight.
Iran cannot sustain their strategy for long!

Companies with negative (qualified) auditors opinions have been turned around and companies with positive (unqualified);auditors opinion have been liquidated. They don't necessarily see into future contracts or deals that the company could achieve. No auditors foresaw or predicted anything about the ENI/NAOC deal, the Afreximbank loan, Angola oil bloc or the Trinidad refinery deal or even the share redistribution deal.
NOTE:
I am not saying that Oando will just perform a miracle and come out of all the problems overnight. But they can do it gradually over some time.
