Webdezzi,
Please, let us be careful in the way we talk about or criticise people.

TB Joshua does not arrogate healing to himself. He has always said that he is not the healer, but God.
It is God that gives the grace to heal or perform miracles. Afterall, healing is not the only basis to judge who is a man of God or not. What about other pastors who do not have the record of healing anything, even ordinary headache. Would you say every pastor who does not heal is fake?
Every person has a role to play to receive healing. Jesus himself said we should have faith. Some people go to church to receive healing, and at the same time, they still want to [patronise other traditional or un-godly means for solutions etc. You need to know all details before you rise to judgment.

TB Joshua always says we are made in our HEART to be like Jesus, NOT in our face or outward appearance, so what you are saying is false.

webdezzi,
Please, stop talking crap.

What TB Joshua was that he received the grace and anointing of God right from his childhood(which pre-supposses that he was pre-destined and anointed by God, and not by any God-father bishop or pastor! He made that comment when journalists were asking him to response to the argument by the PFN that a person can only received the anointing or be born-again after he must have been anointed or appointed by a senior pastor.

TB Joshua then made reference to prophet like Jeremiah, Elijah, and John The Bapstist, they all received their anoniting and calling from God, and not by the instrumentality of any senior prophet. God calls His prophest as He wills and pleases. God Himself said he called and anointed Jeremiah right from his mother's womb.

You people are lazy and shallow thinkers!
The info is for visitors/people traveling from oher countries, not necessarily for those who know the procedure in the church and who can come without filling out any forms online.

Did Michael attend or send any data to The Synanogue? Did the Super Eagles or Black Stars send any info to TB Joshua when he predicted a win for Ghana and urged Nigerians to take heart on the QFinal day at CAN 2008? I was there live and he predicted victory for Ghana. The same man prediced that Nigeria would beat Spain at France 98 World Cup.
Did Babaginda or MKO send any info to  him when he told MKO that he would win the election but it would be difficult for him to be installed as President?
Why dont you go tell your pastors/imams to put out this kind of forms, and still go ahead to give prophecies about people and nations and let us see.
A pastor based in Lagos, a Yoruba man who knew all the info/details about Nigeria and OBJ said he(OBJ) would not be alife to be sworn in as President, but the man did 2 terms!, Prophecies go deeper than peripheral details of a man or nation!

Abuzola,
Bisola's lies can only deceive people like you who have not taken time to find out the truth about the Synagogue.
She and Agomoh are nothing but hurting liars and ingrates.

By the way, someone told me Mohammed actually married (bleeped) 13 women, and one of them was old enough to be his mother
Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor T.b Joshua Predicted Michael Jackson's Sudden Death by mikeapollo: 1:05pm On Jul 07, 2009
Abuzola,
If you care to know, the anointing of God in the life of His prophets is not what any human being can just explain by his wisdom or logic. It takes the convcition of the spirit of God, not human logic.

I have seen many Christ-like qualities in TB Joshua than I can find in the so called pentecostals (Pharisees and Sadducees):
1. The greatest quality I found in TB Joshua is his CHARACTER! It takes the grace of God for a man like TB Joshua to be calm, patient, perseverent, unassuming, not fighting back, and not paying evil for evil. He has repeatedly said he would NEVER open his mouth to speak evil or condemn any person or man-of-God! He says the Bible has promised him that God will prepare a table before him in the presence of his enemies, therefore he does not have to bother about figthing the enemies, because God already knows there would be enemies and He(God) has already taken care of all their evil plans against His prophets!
Now, tell me, how many of the pastors who are atacking TB Joshua can withstand a quarter of the attacks he as suffered?

2. The other thing that shows that God is behind TB Joshua is his background, journey experience and events that have been witnessed in his minsitry. There is a portion in the Bible where John told the people of Israel that if they refused to do the will of God but keep on calling themselves the "children of Abraham" in arrogance, God would raise up "stones" to do His work!
Do you know what the word "stone" illustrates? It means people or things that we ordinary see as unqualified, unworthy or useless, unlearned uninformed! God said he would use the worthless things of the world to confound the wisdom of the wise. TB Joshua, an unlearned, illiterate, unpolished, unexposed, without theology or university background is a stone raised up by God to do His will in the midst of the arrogant "children of Abraham"(the pharisees and sadduccees).

3. TB Joshua started his ministry in 1989/90. When his ministry started growing, a lot of pentecostals started attacking him. In early/mid 90's the PFN led a series of attacks and campaigns against him. Benson Idahosa was at a time leading the assaults against TB Joshua, and he made an open statement that TB Joshua was not good enough to be his driver! Of course, Joshua was thankful to God for creating him the way He (God) deemed fit, and not according to the will of any human being, because God is the creator of everyone and we are all created for His Glory. The same Idahosa boasted openly , saying" I would stop TB Joshua or lose my life". To show the spirit of God in him, TB Joshua asked the congregation to pray for Idahosa when the news of his death broke. He did not use any foul langauage in retaliation of what Idahosa said against him, but rather asked for God to forgive Idahosa, even in death.

4. I dont want to lay too much emphasise on the miracles that happen in the church, because many doubting Thomases would rush to quote verses in the Bible about fake miracles. But I have seen miracles that only God can perform in The Synagogue.

But why are the pentecostals speaking against the miracles in The Synagogue, when they also claim to perform miracles in their own churches too? Why cant they bring forth and show their miracles and leave God to judge? Can anyone light up a candle and hide it under the roof? The Bible says let your light shine before men so that they could see your good deeds and glorify your father in heaven!

My brother, there are many things I have to say, but there is no time or space for all. Just try and visit The Synagogue on a service day. You may go with as many friends or colleagues as you may wish. The truth is naked over there, you dont even need anybody to deceive you or tell you lies.
Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor T.b Joshua Predicted Michael Jackson's Sudden Death by mikeapollo: 3:29pm On Jul 02, 2009
Abuzola,
Who are the RCCG or Pentecostals to judge for God? Pharisees and Sadducees of our time. If they say TB Joshua is not a man of God, then let them show us their own man of God, and what he has to offer! Nonsense!

Folks,
To you people who believed all the lies that Synangogue miracles are strategized and pre-arranged: please, tell us if the mircales that took place in Ghana Botswana, South Africa, South Korea, Australia, Indonesia and Singapore etc are all pre-arranged!
Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor T.b Joshua Predicted Michael Jackson's Sudden Death by mikeapollo: 10:24am On Jul 02, 2009
Abuzola,
Why are you people saying what you dont know? Look, if you want to help yourself, get a live broadcast of Emmanuel TV, or go to the church and see things for yourself. The moment you rely on third party stories, you could be deceived. GO THERE AND SEE THINGS FOR YOURSELF. That is the challenge if you really want to find out the truth!

TB Joshua gives prophecies to everybody and all class of people, rich, poor, man, woman, highly placed, ordinary or common members of the congregation or in the society. Michael Jackson is only popular that is why the controversy.

Anybody who tells you that miracles in The Synagogue are fake is only playing on the public criticisms and blasphemy.
If you care to know, a woman was in the healing section on Sunday who came with pregnancy complications. Prophet TB Joshua prayed for her, she started feeling labour pains, and she delivered right there in the church while service was still going on. Live! Is that faked too? Another woman who had been suffering from Fibroid also passed the fibroid out, live in the open! Tell me that is fake too!

There is nothing anybody can say to make you change your mind if you are inwardly biased. Infact, you would believe anything against the man.  Jesus did not beg anyone to believe in Him. He came and did His best while His accusers where just abusing, insuting and calling Him names.

Tudor,
You are doing well too, keep on hating, blaspheming, persecuting and spreading lies about a person and things you know little or nothing about. The human spirit is a free moral agent; it either yields itself to the devil or to God.
I will never join the crowd of people who give God's glory to satan.
Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor T.b Joshua Predicted Michael Jackson's Sudden Death by mikeapollo: 9:36am On Jul 02, 2009
Abuzola,

Please, dont missquote me or read my post out of context. TB Joshua is not a fraud, and he is not fake.
It is there in the Bible that God shows things that would happen to His prophets and servants.

TB Joshua was only trying to make the congregation realise the need to appreciate and pray when genuine prophecies are given, and not just to wish them away as a personal message or wishful thinking of the person saying it. He said someone should come for prayers for his health and deliverance, does that implying PREDICTING the person's death?

There is absolutely nothing wrong or frauduleent if you give a message about a person in a foreign land, then go ahead to contact a close family friend who may be in position to get the message across to the person concened. He did that in order to avert anything bad that might happen. What is the offence in that? Go ask Tee Mac if you like.
There are thousands of amazing prophecies from TB Joshua which have been confirmed, so this is not new or strange.

The point I am making is that TB Joshua himself did not say he PREDICTED Michael Jackson's DEATH. He saw a vision to pray for MJ's health and deliverance, and Tee Mac confirmed that. What is fraudulent in that?.

Look, whether you hate or like TB Joshua, who God would use He would use, who God would annoint He would annoint. Human opinion is totally irrelevant in this. Afterall Jesus was called a fraud in the Bible by the Pharisees, Sadducees and unbelievers.
The white people coming to church decided to come on their own, after making contacts and enquiries from the church. The Synagogue does not force people to come worship. The Synagogue does not have a sign board or adverts that invite people to come and worship in Ikotun Egbe. People come on their own, for different purposes, some to see things for themselves, some to seek for healing, some for salvation, some for deliverance some to listen to his teachings, some to spy and look for what they can use to blaspheme or persecute the man, etc
Christianity Etc › Pastor TB Joshua Did Not Predict Michael Jackson's Death! by mikeapollo(op): 4:15pm On Jul 01, 2009
Folks,
We should be careful the way we pass across messages/information to the public.
TB JOSHUA did not PREDICT Michael Jackson's DEATH!

What TB Joshua said, and which was confirmed by Tee Mac (former PMAN president), was that he saw a vision to pray for Michael jackson's health and deliverance. He had said it in the church in February that the congregation should pray for a great star in the world so that the person would not go to the journey of no return. This is different from PREDICTING SOMEONE'S DEATH. We can say he had a premonition or vision, but NOT PREDICTION!

TB Joshua himself realises the importance of how prohecies are delivered, so he is always careful in the way he releases them. He would never say he PREDICTED that someone would DIE. What he would say is that he saw a vision to pray for the life of a particular person. With prayers, God can intervene (if He wills), and save the person.
No one has the right to predict someone's death, a statement that is always made by TB Joshua himself!

Christianity Etc › Re: "t.b Joshua's Miracle Is Fake And Unverifiable" Former Church Members by mikeapollo: 9:59am On Jun 25, 2009
Purefact (or whatever you call yourself)

You should stop talking about things you know next to nothing about.
TB Joshua did not object to Agomoh getting married. He was only advising him against the choice he made, and because Agomoh had his eyes on the wealthy background of the lady, he was adamant. Where is the lady now, if I may ask? Unfortunately, the lady is dead! Have you stopped for a second to think about that?
There are other junior pastors in the church, both Nigerians and foreigners, who have been joined in happy marriages in the church by TB Joshua. Find out and you would know.

About TB Joshua's wife, you better dont open your mouth to say or write rubbish if you dont know. The woman is always in the Church, on both service and non-service days. The point is, unlike other churces where the wife of the head pastor is given obvious special place/seats to sit, his wife sits amongst either the general congregation, or with the foreign visitors or among the church workers in the recording studio etc. If someone does not point you to her, you would not know; that is the truth. Sometimes, she sits by the balcony/passage in the church on non-service days playing and dicussing with members, children etc. You dont know, so stop telling lies. I have known these things since 1997. The wife was one of the interpreters at a time, then she joined the evangelical class, used to preach during mid-week services etc.

If you believe what Agomoh said that the cancers that get healed at the Synagogue are just mere wounds that get healed naturally "with time", then you are a lazy and shallow thinker! Have you bothered to ask yourself why those "mere wounds" did not heal for 1,2,5,10,15,20 years etc since the victims have been suffering the pains, agony and shame? Why did the victims come to the Synagogue from far and near if the wounds could just heal ordinarily? Why are they coming with authentic and valid medical reports from reputable hospitals? Do you think deeply enough to assess these things? Why do the vcitims not go to other churches or pastors so that the wounds would get "healed naturally with time" as well? Why The Synagogue?
Are you saying all the foreigners who come for healing from cancer are foolish enough to travel far away from their countries to a place like Ikotun Egbe if their wounds and sickness are things that could get healed ordnarily with time? If you have an ailment like severe headache, which refuses to go after several weeks and months of treatment, would you believe someone like Agomoh who tells you that you should not bother seeing a doctor because your headache is a common ailment that would heal naturally over time?
What length of period or time does he mean by "with time"? How many years or months does it mean? So you want people to continue to suffer and suffer in penury and in pain '"over time" before they get healed of their sicknesses? So the scknesses Jesus healed could also have been healed naturally "with time? FOOLISH TALK!

People like you have a jaundiced and biased view against the man, so your mind is well prepared to receive and believe any lies that people say against the man.
Christianity Etc › Re: "t.b Joshua's Miracle Is Fake And Unverifiable" Former Church Members by mikeapollo: 2:07pm On Jun 24, 2009
Folks,
I read the story of Agomoh and Bisola and I laughed.
Agomoh is a first class liar and ingrate. This was a jobless guy who was washing plates in the canteen of The Synagogue, walking with a pair of slippers. He was polished and sent to Ghana to head the bracnh there. He wanted to marry a Ghanaian lady which TB Joshua advised him against. After some time, the lady passed away, and he became rude to his benefactor. He lost his pastorial headship of the Ghana branch, became frustrated and decided to have a punch at TB Joshua.
The question people should ask is: If TB Joshua is occultic, and Agomah was TBJ's assistant, how then does Agomoh now become a "pastor" immediately after parting ways with TB Joshua, without any period or process of conversion?
There are lot of people/churches/organisations who are eagerly/willing/ready to sponsor any evil report ornews against TB Joshua, so we should always expect this kind of calcuated lies. After using all allegations against the man without success, the latest one is "sex scandal". Who is Bisola to be seduced by TB Joshua? The man lives with his wife and kids in the church, so would he be so stupid to sleep with female workers in the same church building, in the presence of other workers? How stupid could he be to be sleeping with ladies and leave the doors unlocked? People should think deep.

The reason why these people are fighting back is that they never thought they could fall out of favour, so they became arrogant. When they finally found themselves out of favour and with virtually no where else to go, they decided to pay back in their way.

The most ridiculous allegation is to say that the miracles in the Synagogue are fake! Rubbish! Anybody who cares to find out the truth should visit the place or get some of their miracle clips.
Is it possible to fake miracles in which peolpe with cancers of different parts of the body are healed with physical evidence? I have seen a man with cancerous scrotum burst in the open air, and the man was living and breathing live! What about pregnant women with labour diffculties, who are paryed for and they deliver their babies live in the church, in the presence of the congregation. Not once, not twice, not thrice?

Please, people should not be deceived by shenanigans who go about telling lies against TB Joshua out of jealousy or misunderstanding. The man is real, but he may not be perfect. It is a different thing altogether if someone has a misunderstanding with him.

duduspace,
It is very shameful how you insult and abuse people needlessly on a forum that is meant for mature minds. It shows how u are.

Let me tell you something. Nothing in the story TB Joshua's birth is new to me. I have heard the same things about him over 7 years ago, so I know what you dont. I am not talking out of sheer ignorance like you.
TB Joshua does not owe you any explanations about his history/birth.

Nobody is forcing you to belive his story or mircales. You are free to sue the people giving testimonies if you wish. Why not sue those who were healed of Cancer (obvious wounds to the naked eyes). At least you can sue them, even when they are no longer carrying the big sores that they were carrying on their body! Do that and we shall congratulate you.!

Please, face your job if you have one, otherwise go and find something to do and leave TB Joshua alone, he was speaking to people who came to interview him, and he is not inviting you to read or believe the story

The analogy I gave fits your argument, so stop the name calling.

You also dont have the locus standi to demand for the medical records of TB Joshua/his mother!. He does not have any inheritance dispute about his maternal/paternal origin. Who are you to make such absurd demand?!

You can either believe his story or ignore it. To demand for medical records is to be talking gibberish.

If you ask him to provide medical records to prove what he said about his birth(the story was not directed at you anyway), then you too should be ready to provide similar answers to the question I asked you.

If you do not have a pastor or Imam, then I can guess the kind of person you are. And you want a pastor to give provide his medical records to a person like you? To prove what? Your belief or disbelief in a prophet of God does not make any difference to God's anointing in his life.

It is like someone asking you to provide medical records and DNA evidence of you and your dad in order to prove that you are his child, how would you react to that?
Christianity Etc › Re: I Spent 15 Months In My Mother’s Womb: T.b Joshua by mikeapollo: 10:07am On Apr 09, 2009
duduspace,
Why dont you request for the medical records of your own pastor or imam or babalawo?

Medical records or not, the miracles and good works that God has used TB to do in the lives of people, together with his humility and self control are enough testimonies of GoD's spirit in his life.
How many times have you heard him speak bad or evil against anybody, including the Pharisee Fellowship of Nigeria(PFN)?
The first evidence of God's spirit in a person's life is character, discipline and self-control, before even the miraculous.
The people who are condemning TB have nothing to offer, otherwise, they would concentrate on doing what they can offer, instead of abusing and condemning somebody who is doing what they cannot do.
Christianity Etc › Re: I Spent 15 Months In My Mother’s Womb: T.b Joshua by mikeapollo: 5:01pm On Apr 07, 2009
People are being very shallow and myopic as usual, talking only about the 15 months in his omther's womb!
What about the fact that he narrowly missed being killed by a heavy flying stone when he was 7 days old? What about disarming a mad man carrying a cutlass, while in primary school?
What about the fact that he started from the scratch, just like Jesus who was born in a manger?

You see, TB Joshua is a Prophet, not one of the products of western seminaries or theology schools, who use academic philosophy/ psychology decorated with biblical quotations to hide or cover themselves.
TB Joshua is deep! That is why he does not open his mouth to talk anyhow or abuse or condemn other people like the Pharisees Federation of Nigeria (PFN) members.

You think about it, why is it that the first job he did was to wash the feet of people coming out of the muddy market at Mile 12? It is very symbolic! That reminds me of Jesus! Service in Humility!
Christianity Etc › Re: Where Does T.b. Joshua Get His Money From? by mikeapollo: 2:35pm On Apr 07, 2009
TB Joshua's source of money is GOD, first and foremost. God touches people's heart and they make donations to the church. He also ploughs some of the income from some activities in the church, e.g the bakery etc, to support donations.

You see, when God commissions you, he will provide what you need for HIS Glory.

TB Joshua started from the scratch, from the slum.

If some rich and empty people criticise and condemn him, the spirit and soul of the poor shall always pray for him.
God is using him to prove something in The Bible " God uses the foolish things of the world (e.g. supposedly uneducated, ignorant people like TB Joshua) to shame the wisdom of the wise( e.g the highly learned/educated people like the PFN memebers) of the world"

It is quite disgusting how these so called "men of God" talk and behave!
Who are the people in the PFN (Pharisees Federation of Nigeria) to judge another man of God? Who says TB Joshua wants to be a member of their gaddem association? They can go to blazes. Joshua is NOT INTERESTED in their PFN.
Who is Oritsejafor to ask another man of God to show him (sic) the pastor that tutored him?
Let Oritsejafor tell us the pastor of Moses, Elijah, John The Baptist etc in the Bible!
God can ordain whoever he wants directly by himself! He may also use a human being to do it if He wants. He does as he will! Jeremiah was pre-destined by God, well before he was born. God cannot be ordered to work in a particular way!

It is funny that Oritsejafor quoted the Biblical verse "by their fruits you shall know them" againt Joshua!
What fruits does Oritsejafor and his cohorts in PFN have to show as men of God, compared to Joshua?

Let them show us what they are doing that is better than what Joshua is doing.
Are these not the pastors who snatched wives of their former members?
Are these not the same PFN members that were fighting each other over money accruing from a crusade organised by Reinhard Bonnke a few years ago?

They have shot themselves in the foot. All of them will be exposed big time because they have been telling lies against Joshua in the past and some people believed them, but right now, more and more people are beginning to see their true colours and news about the genuineness of Joshua is spreading beyond what they can control or kill. That is why ganaged up against Pastor Chris Oyahkilome when he said Joshua was not fake!
