ninekfive: All you guys causing are illiterates and ignorant , I've lived in Ghana for the past 10 years since after I finished my University. Trust me its more comfortable and accommodating than the naija you take pride of that's what make u ignorant and illiterates in the sense that you forget the white man gave us borders and names like Nigeria and Gold cost we are practically the same people and share same cultures. Nobody hates anybody they are only displaying ignorance. Even hausa, igbo and yoruba as tribes still share the same ignorance from the illiterates once. NiraLandes stop disgracing yourself with ignorance we should be learning good things about each other that's what a smart person will do.Thanks and God bless you my brother. The way some people talk is a disgrace. Peopl should find out before they talk. Most people that say Ghanaians hate Nigerians have not even stepped on Ghanaian soil before in their life. They just used the internet-based rivalry and teasers to make jaundiced conclusion. Any law abiding Nigerian that has lived in Ghana for a considerable lenght of time will certainly confirm that Ghanaians dont have any particular hatred/dislike for Nigerians, except for some horrible things that some Nigerians have done in their country. We should be wary of that. I dont want to go into history....but some Nigerians have been getting involved in some shaddy deals in Ghana which is what is causing their suspiscion. Do you know that Arthur Nzeribe duped some of their former leaders in the late 60s and it was a national news all over Ghana? That is the kind of thing that causes this feelings. Apart from that, they are very accomodating and hospitable. |
I was pointing out the obvious vices, ndesirable attitude and stupid arrogance based on some self deceit of feeling of superiority by some Nigerians, especially in Ghana, which has caused a lot of hard feelings against Nigeria/Nigerians in almost everywhere you go in Africa, and some ignorant people were talking trash. We need to changw our attitude and values if we want to be better respected/loved outside our country. |
I hope Nigerians can see clearly now? Okonjo Iweala was promoted after she worked as Debt collector for the World Bank during the OBJ era; she rushed to pay a whopping$12billion in a full swoop to the World Bank at a time when other countries were negotiating and eventual got debt full forgivenss/cancellation. Now again, she is a candidate for promotion at the World Bank after she has successfully instigated and implemented removal of subsidy from petroleum. This woman is World Bank agent per excellence. She belongs to them and will always dance to their interest, and not the interest of the suffering Nigerians. A word is enough for the wise |
This is one of the legacies of Farida Waziri who initaited and established insurance policy for operatives of the EFCC. That woman deserves more credit! May God be with the families of the departed patriots |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aq_p9BW9Vo&feature=related I came across this video showing Emmanuel Adebayor doing the Ghana 'Azonto' dance in Real Madrid dressing room. This dance step was brought to limelight by Asamoah Gyan and it seems to be gaining a lot of popularity, especially among Africans in Europe and US. Very funny and interesting dance steps |
niddamugu:Ol boy, it is not about zeal for TB Joshua. It is about using a mundane issue like 'human mentor' to decide who is a real man of God. If you are really interested in God's course, you would be patient and pray/fast for God to reveal everything to you, including TB Joshua's spiritual identity, and not base your convictions/doubts on human mentor. The bible says faith without works is dead. Jesus did not just preach The Word or quote The Scriptures! He met the needs of the people. That is what TB Joshua is also doing. Do you think Jesus fed people and healed people just for the fun? He used those miracles to cement The Word in their hearts and also eased their pain/hardship by feeding them. You cannot just be preaching, while you are swimming in riches and your followers are hungry and dying! Following God's Word also includes listening to His prophest, doing His will and obeying His commandments, |
niddamugu:Did the Bible or Jesus mandate you to know the human mentor of a prophet inorder to confirm his authenticity/genuineness? Are you saying God is no longer capable , for example, of annointing a prophet in the mother's womb like Jeremiah's case? Are you saying the God in the Bible is no longer the God of today? The Bible says by their fruits, you shall know them, And what do you mean by 'no Human living and existing today just came like that'? Were you there when God made him or pre-destined him to be a prophet? Are you talking based on the limited human logic or what? How was the world formed, if I may ask you since you seem to know how God decides someones destiny. Tell me you know how God made the sun and moon to rise and set! TB Joshua has extra-ordinary annointing, even with his limited human education, that is enough for any deep thinking person to know that his commission is direct from God, not any human being. As it was in the Bible, so it is! |
@ Topic This is why I love this Man called T.B Joshua. . He is just in a league of his own. Truly, he hasnt forgotten his humble beginnings. Now on the question of why other pastors and PFN dont recognize him, its strictly beef. You can compare the Church hussle to the Rap Game. When a new musician comes out on the block and starts moving more records than you, you know you've got competition and the only way to crush the competition is to either do a Tupac Shakur on the mutha, or do a diss track or do a collabo. . . Now!! T.B Joshua was a junior hussler back in the days. Nobody took the nigga seriously. He stuck to the underground and kept putting out miracles (church version of mixtapes). He never over stepped his boundaries and stuck to yoruba language. . Then he met some white producers who watched him do his thing and found out that his brand could be harnessed and turned into a global phenomenon. So they approached him and gave him some ideas. . . He started working on his english (Church version of studio time). . . Then all of a sudden, he was rebranded and launched into the big leagues with mad miracles that made even the leader of the game then (Oyakhilome Chris) be like DARN!! Prior to the launching of T.B Josh a.k.a New-kid-on-the-block, the leader was Chris Oyakhilome with his hit album "TOTAL EXPERIENCE". Chris had it all, nice wardrobe, bad arse lyrics, sweet back up dancers/pastors and a hand that performed some decent Miracles. . Now T.B comes into the game, starts dropping hits every Sunday with bad arse miracles. . People didnt have to wait for a crusade to recieve miracles. . He then added some spot on prediction skills as well, Bookies and gamblers started attendeding his Then the beef started. . . PFN and CAN immediately start the beef by dissing him on Rumour has it that he wants to buy Cash Money Records. . . .
You seem to have some fair knowledge of some of the politics and hypocrisy in the PFN. However, you got some other issues totally wrong: 1. God had been using TB Joshua to perform mircales since as far back as 1989 when he started his ministry 2.T.B. Joshua NEVER applied to be a member of PFN. 3.The antagony/attacks against TB Joshua started long before now. It started in the early 90s with a lot of pentecostal churches(led by Idahosa) organising some senseless prayer sessions against his ministry 4. In 1995, Idahosa granted an interview in which he vowed to 'stop TB Joshua or lose my life'. He was fighting without understanding the mighty annointing in TB Joshua's life. He even described TB Joshua as someone that was not good enough to be his(Idahosa's) driveRr, , pure arrogance. He died shortly after he made those careless statements 5. TB Joshua has been into philantrophy long before now. He has been giving cash to members of the church and visitors all along, but he just decided to do more as he receives more from God. He gave out the first sets of vehicle to poor members of his church, at a time he had no vehicles! 6.TB Joshua had prophesied all these things to his church memeber almost 20 years ago! All the global awakening to his church, the building of the new magnificient structure, the philantropy etc had been prophesied for ages by himself |
niddamugu:Please, in response to your questions, can you please tell me the mentors of: 1. Moses 2.Elijah 3.John The Baptist 4.Jeremiah 5.Daniel , You are talking as if God must always use another man to mentor His prophet before He can annoint and commission the prophet for His work and Glory. The same reason the Pharisees rejected Jesus because they did not know how He started or got His commission from. God uses His prophets in different ways for different purposes at times. When God wants to mould and use you in a special way for His Glory alone, He would bring you out of the mud, clean you up and make you what he wants you to be. Why do you think TB Joshua was not able to achieve all his human aspirations as a young boy, even though he was brilliant in school? God made it so, so that He alone could take the glory, and not share it with any mentor that could corrupt His glory |
A foolish country is not difficult to know! Of what use is the National Identification Number if it is not imprinted on a national identity card or passport? Of what relevance will it be if the NIM is not a statutory means of identification in the country? I think they want to do another National Identiy Card scheme but they are calling it a different name inorder to avoid criticisms for the previous failed scheme. |
There are pastors and there are pastors! There are prophets and there are prophets. The pastor/prophet that I know does not need to lay hands on or get close to you before you fall under the mighty annointing of God in his life, his name is Prophet T.B. Joshua You would not only fall, but sommersault several times if necesary, and if there are no one around to help hold you down! |
Syenite:My friend, stop talking like an illiterate. A country does not have to be the largest economy before it can be the fastest growing. China was growing very fast in the 1980s-1990s even while they did not have many companies in other countries like they do now. Dubai has made a huge progress despite the fact that they do not produce/manufacture many things and their stock market is not among the top in the world. What matters is creating an environment for both SMEs and Multinational companies to thrive.Dubai used tourism to transform their country. Ghana has been making efforts to improve their country/economy by ensuring stable power/political environment/education/security/peace. Nigeria lacks all these desirable features. And if I may let you know, Ghana has a more diversified economy than Nigeria, they are the : 1. 2nd Largest producer/exporter of Cocoa in the world (after Cote d Voire) 2.2nd Larget prodcucer/exporter of Gold in Africa (after S/Africa)and one of the largest in the world 3.One of the larget producers of Diamond, Bauxite, and Timber 4. They have just discovered oil in commercial quantity. Ghana was the richest colony in British West Africa (during the colonial era) and that is why the British made it their adminsitrative capital. They were rich to the extent that they gave $5m grant to South Korea to help them in development shortly after S.Korea got independence The exploration of oil in Nigeria in the 60s plus our population were the only factors that made Nigeria to outshine them in the 70s-80s especially at a period when their economy went down. Otherwise, Ghana had always been ahead of us: 1,They got independence b4 Nigeria 2.They had Military Academy b4 Nigeria(some of our best Military officers were trained at the Ghana Defence Academy at Teshie, Ghana) 3.They were ahead of us in Sports (especially Football and Athletics) 4. They brought and taught Nigerians our first classical music, Highlife(even right now, our musicians are imitating the Ghanaian Hiplfie rhythms) Just listen to musicians like Duncan Mighty, etc, 5.They had the biggest dam in the World at a time(Akosombo dam which has the capacity to provide electricity to the whole West Africa, including Nigeria). 6. They had ther vision to build an oil refinery even before Nigeria(an oil producing nation) could build one. Their refinery at Tema is older than all our 4 refineries and is still working while our 4 refineries are dead. 7.They had a visionary leader like Kwame Nkrumah who provided leadership to the whole of Africa. Infact Ghana was the political headquarters of the struggle against colonial rule in Africa. Even the great Nnamdi Azikwe worked there as a journalist at the early stage of his career?) 8. They acted as a mature/responsible brother/neighbour to help us resolve the Biafra war. Do you know about the Aburi Accord? , All these things were achieved in the 50s-60s, long before Nigeria became an economic force in the 70s as a result of oil boom. In in contemporary history, market women in Ghana had been using GSM for more than 6 years (almost a decade) before Nigeria had GSM We need to respect people who make progress with what they have. |
I think u can switch to Geology/Pet Eng at Uniport (if they are accredited). |

Professor? What is the use of a professor without integrity? I prefer a CBN Governor that would not cover up and dine with thieves and looters of the depositors funds. The boom in the economy between 2002-2007 was mainly as a result of favourable prices of international commodities and oil around the world. The consolidation programme is a programme on the lsit of agenda of the CBN, drafted by former CBN Governor Joseph Sanusi who initiated Universal Banking, to be followed by raising of banks capital to a minimum of N25B. Joseph Sanusi retired before that could be achieved and Soludo came in to implement it. However, Soludo's lack of integrity and his latent political ambition blinded him and he started dining and wining with thieves that were defrauding the economy and banking system. Instead of putting a stop to the mess, he was busy covering up for them and telling us lies that everything was okay! Sanus Lamido came in and he told us the BITTER TRUTH, and also moved against people who were using depositors funds for private family businesses. Today, we know thoses who used our deposits and equity investments to buy hundreds of houses in Dubai, Londonm etc. Billions of dollars have been retrieved. This is the first time that Nigerian banking industry experienced distress and no single bank has been liquidated. Sanusi is not perfect, but I like his courage and determination to take on people in high places desecrating the nation at the expense of the masses. Do you think your Soludo professor could ever face and challenge the National Assembly the way Sanusi did? I dont want to be a professor that lacks basic courage, integrity, discipline and respect for my 'Professorship'. I dont want to be a professor that would lobby to be retained as CBN Governor after 5 years in office, then 2 months after leaving office, would rush desperately and rig to be nominated as governorship candidate of a very corrupt political party. I would not be a ;professor, a former CBN Governor and be a partner in electoral malpractices with people like Andy Uba etc. Big Shame |
This is a man desperate for political appointments/positions. Was this not the man who fought tooth and nail and even went on an anti-govt campaign abroad when he was removed as EFCC chairman? Was this not the man that said the PDP party was corrupt and has nothing to offer? Was this not the man that contested for president under ACN (the foremost opposition party)? It is clear that this is a man that is hungry for power and political patronage! He has no pedigree/credibility/integrity that people had been deceived to believe, his time at the EFCC was the most partisan, biased and selective. He wants to belong as a way of being relevant in the scheme of things, it is all OBJ scheming to plant his puppets in another puppet's govt Am not surprised, |
The National Assembly has directed FRSC to put a hold on the new number plates, it cannot be enforced untill NA endorse it. |
Let him/them defend their conscience first, by giving to the poor, make their expensive private schools affordable to ordinary members of their church(es), do away with ostentatious lifestyles/private jets etc |
This was one of the reasons why Vodacom SA(the most credible of all bidders for Vmobile) pulled back from acquiring the company. |
What do expect when you foolishly appoint Okonjo-Iweala, an eternal agent of the IMF/World Bank as Finance Minister? She will always work for the interest of her imperialist masters. She did the same thing under Obasanjo, and even rushed to pay a whooping $12billion to the London/Paris Clubs when other developing nations were making progress for outright cancellation of their debts, e.g Senegal and Egypt. I laugh when I hear some ignorant people thinking she has anything positive to comtribute and Jonathan has shown how clueless and shallow he is by appointing her. I listened to her presentation during the fuel subsidy debate and I was shocked at her lack of depth in analyis. She could not put up any scientific analysis but just referring to a prepared template/slide on a screen. We are doomed if we keep relying on people like Okonjo-Iweala as Finance Minister because they will sell us to the West. Can you imagine a Finance Minister that demanded for her salary to be paid in a foreign currency(dollars)? That shows she never had any confidence in or plans to defend the national currency! We should rather seek for alternative ideas from tested ,patriotic and committed professionals like Prof Aluko and others in the country that can call off the bluff of IMF/World Bank |
PDP may not be a party with a history pf good performancce. But the truth is, people are angry and mad at the deceits and some harsh experiences under ACN govt, especiallly in Lagos. Fashola has turned out to be a corrupt, untrustworthy and deceitful governor who likes to use anything and everything to extort money from the people, without any compassion/plans for the poor masses. No wonder he used all means to block the investigation of his government In the SW, once people are mad at your govt, you can be swept off in a protest vote. The party that may benefit may not necessarily be a popular party! Except they reverse the unpopular policies of this government, 2015 will be very difficult for ACN. The last LG elections showed clearly that people cannot be deceived, exploited and fleeced just because a governor is planting flowers and resurfacing roads in VI and S/Lere while the poor market women/artisans are suffering. I am 100% ACN but totally disappointed in Fashola's style of governance, Medical doctors to go on strike for almost 3 months in an ACN state(Lagos)? Unheard of! |
Let him ban the use of motor vehicles for transport because some people use motor vehicles to rob. silly analogy! He is busy fleecing and robbing Lagosians through dubious contracts and projects (Lekki Toll and inflacted contract), yet he thinks he can deceive people with some cheap propaganda. He wants to create a monopoly for LAGBUS/BRT and thereafter charge/impose ridiculously high fares on commuters. That man called Fashola does not like anything about the poor people in Lagos, check his previous actions targeted against tehe down-troden masses in Lagos. What alternative does he have tp provide? Or he wants to repeat what he did in Lekki when there are no viable alternatives? |
safarigirl:Thanks for observation. It shows the maturity, large-heartedness and the willingness to accomodate and appreciate others by the Ghanaians. In Nigeria, we always want to be known to be better than others, even when we are not. That is why we always look for words and phrases to deceive ourselves, e.g Giant of Africa, Happiest People in the World, etc. |
