Can somebody please share that picture which shows Nigerian soldiers returning from Cameroon. 1. No vehicles 2. Heavy infantry weapons AGLs,MGLs,mortars, heavy machine guns etc. 3. They were pulling a "tactical manoeuvre" on foot without coordination with the force commander, headquarters nor did they have maps?. Conclusion: These boys ran for their lives. I don't blame them. |
patches689: Do you wish to argue finance with a CFA?Lmaoooooooo . DUDE!!!!!! |
agaugust: They carried 105mm artillery guns on foot? Olodo !Don't mix infantry with artillery or armour units. Your infantry is classed as "Foot-lized infantry" |
agaugust: They carried 105mm artillery guns on foot? Olodo !"Spread to avoid ambush kill"? Lmaooo. Artillery towed by gun trucks, like you always say "even togo can do that. Carrying a 1960 relics |
Henry120: Pathetic SANDF. You think it's by carrying out photo-shoots.More insul..ts and no facts. Go cry on beegeagle's shoulders not here Henry. |
agaugust: Even Togo republic can do that ! You DumboNOPE!!!!! |
Henry120: It doesn't change the fact you are the murder capital of the world.Sub-saharan African countries like your Nigeria, suffer from imbalance. 1. Please stop making claims and show or tell us the names of those "surveillance assets"!!!! A single SANDF recce with the LH-40C binoculors can do what all those assets you mentioned there can do. |
In those pictures all your soldiers were carrying 1 AK-47 each or carrying a RPG. Some carried GPMG. All from soldiers heading for combat. No AGLs,MGLs,Mortars,DM rifles, first aid kit(buddy aid) and more!!! |
Henry120: LMAO!!!!Nigeria isn't in the "TDL club",South Africa in the 1998 review got Link-ZA,frigates,subs,helicopters,jets and more. Watch what happens in this 2014 one. 1. Your officers can't read maps and ended up in Cameroon where they took your weapons. 2. You're not that knowledgeable about C2 systems so I won't bother,to try discus such things with you. 3. The SANDF battalions aren't trained by any foreign armed forces. 4. You receive anything from cutters, trucks,APCs and more. |
Henry120: Before I forget, south-africa is the murder capital of the world.1. No one in SA gives a rat's ar..se about what Lauren and her friends write. 2. Do you know what the minister was talking about? Do you know what "balance" she's talking about? LOL 3. You're now dancing all over the place Mike..ZA making the floor hot for you? You can't answer questions. 4. Our air force and special operation forces medics always perform well, from rescuing hurricane victims, combat search and rescue all over SADC,mounting rescues, sea rescue(Nigerian air force is still to develop that. |
Henry120: I'm going to brutalise you today online mike.1. NCOs are old, your army needs to work in that area. Your soldiers run from combat when cause the aren't experienced NCOs to led them, meaning senior officers like Lieutenant Colonel Agu often have to led from the front. 2. Thanks again for spreading the defence review PR work. Foo..l 3. HIV is nothing but virus,it isn't eBola. 4. NO battalion in South Africa has in recent years received training from any foreign country, all we do is hold exercises with them. The SANDF avoids contacts through exercises with the USA or Uk 5. Don't even bring up technology. Your officers can't even read a map. Where's the "cobra C2" systems? NO MIL-STD data links. One day your battalion will attack Abuja thinking it was Gwoza |
Henry120: True every military flies VVIP, but your Airforce(SAAF) is only funded for VIP, and VVIP trips alone, and get virtually nothing for training, S&R get nothing. Your Defence review shows your military has and would always be hopeless.1. SAAF 21 squadron is a VIP squadron, but doesn't operate helicopters. So when president and other VIPs get to the airport other helicopter squadron take it from there. FOO...L 2. More than 10 soldiers were seen in those pictures matching beside a single Cobra, meaning some of them are "foot-lized infantry" LOL 3. Old pieces of artillery which South Africa or Israel captured, tested and threw them into museums or use for training. 4. Your army has no IFVs. 5. Show us those AGLs,MGLs but never cause SA stuff will be superior !!!!!!!! |
Henry120: " However, it’s a fact that while the SAAF’s helicopter squadrons receive a generous allocation for VIP flights – last year the Durban-based 15 Squadron got 300 hours flying time to ferry the Zuma entourage to and from Nkandla – they get very little for training and nothing at all for sea and mountain rescue."1. What's the standard APC of the Nigerian army? 2. How much is spent on training a single Nigeria soldiers. 3. You'll eat humble pie Henry. 2. APCs protected soldiers from the deadliest battlefield weapons, such as mortars, shells, small arms fire,IEDs,land mines etc |
Henry120: " However, it’s a fact that while the SAAF’s helicopter squadrons receive a generous allocation for VIP flights – last year the Durban-based 15 Squadron got 300 hours flying time to ferry the Zuma entourage to and from Nkandla – they get very little for training and nothing at all for sea and mountain rescue."15 squadron is based in Port Elizabeth and Durban. It is the job of the military to fly VIPs . South African helicopter squadrons are the best in combat search and rescue. Nigeria still lacks that capability. |
Henry120: Troops get all the equipment they need. From AK's to RPG's, MGL's, AGL's, IFV's, AFV's and more.1. Show us these AGLs,IFVS and more. Augubugubu posted pictures of your men matching to Damboa on foot. 2. Protest=/=Strike 3. Thanks for spreading the 2014 defence review PR work. 4. Every military flies VIP and VVIPs. |
Henry120: They do not lack APC's, neither would APC's save troops from 14.5mm.1. What's the standard APC of the Nigerian army then? 2. How much does Nigeria spend training a single soldier? 3. They ran to Cameroon just last week,Lieutenant Colonel Agu had to dress as a women to save his ar..se. 4. APCs save soldiers from land mines,IEDs,mortars, shells, small arms, the elements and offer great mobility. |
agaugust: Egypt prove to be Africa's biggest weapons producer, fact ! This thread gets worse for South Africa every month...Butt HurtSouth Africa produces more weapons than all African countries. Soon SA will be supplying Algeria with Umkhonto missiles and Malaysia with Ingwe missiles. While you're dreaming of receiving a donation,in a form of a second hand frigate from China. ![]() |
Henry120: When you make comments like these, I begin to wonder Whether you have a functional brain.1. Health benefits? LOL 2. Retirements benefits? LOL another joke. 3. How much is spent on training a Nigerian soldier? 4. Carrying a single AK-47 and sometimes a RPG,is better armed too you? What a shame. 5. How much is a deployed Nigerian soldier payed? R1000? |
Henry120: Other than spreading senseless terrorism propaganda and conniving with terrorists, you have nothing to show Nigerian soldiers aren't the best on the continent.1. Equipment(Your soldiers lack APCs,webbing etc) 2. You spent less on training soldiers, some of your units are even trained by foreign armies. 3. They run way from combat. Plus more |
agaugust: [size=14pt]Biggest Weapons Manufacturer In Africa Is Egypt !Egypt produces licenced weapons, for its "armed forces". South Africa produces more than that and way ahead. |
If they were indeed making a "tactical manoeuvre",that means the Nigerian army has no "blue force tracking" capability. Since we are talking about a battalion size force. Or it means Nigerian combat officers, can't read maps. THOSE CHAPS RAN AWAY FROM COMBAT CAUSE OF HEAVY SUPERIOR TERRORISTS FIREPOWER. |
agaugust: Your South African OPV that does not have enough fuel to reach Angola and save your SADC defense partner in time of need...Yes,it has enough fuel to reach Taiwan. . Angola wasn't threatened by anyone,if a SADC member is threatened or attacked you'd see the best military units in Africa deployed for combat it was the case in the Great African war,Angolan civil war,Lesotho. The best region in Africa. |
@Henry120 claims Nigerian soldiers are the best on the continent,in terms equipment, training and experience. But he can't go any further to back up his claims other than jokes and insul..ts. |
ZeusAyo: again no evidence of webbing just regular body armourNigeria is still developing the special forces capability,it'll take time and operational experience to come up with suitable equipment and other stuff. |
agaugust: Nope, your home made SADC pirates, your own region's pirates that your weak submarine navy has no OPV to pursueGo post the picture of that donated cutter somewhere. South African OPVs can sink it easily. |
Henry120: I could not care less what your intentions are. Fact is, You're actively abating terrorism, for a laugh. Well, your problem. The best runners!!! |
agaugust: No, it is Egypt, thousands of guided missiles, tanks, APCs, Tucano aircraft, Alpha jets, etc manufactured in Egypt at home.South Africa designs and produces more weapons than all Africans countries. |
agaugust: Domestic weapons manufacturing industry, Egypt leads AfricaSouth Africa produces more weapons than all African countries. |
agaugust: Nigeria has a bigger economy than South Africa. National purchasing power is not measured by per capita income but rather by net government cash flow on which Nigeria beats South Africa.1.A South Africa=4 Frigates. 1.B Nigeria=1 Frigate 2.A South Africa=3 submarines 2.B Nigeria=0 Submarines. 3.A South Africa=1000+ Infantry fighting vehicles 3.B Nigeria=less than 50 infantry fighting vehicles. 4.A South Africa= 26 fighter jets 4.B Nigeria=11 fighter jets. Why can't you buy more? |
agaugust: Your village Tv does not show CNN ?Guardian again? Just click this link m.youtube.com/results?gl=ZA&client=mv-google&hl=en&q=American+airstrikes&submit=Search |
agaugust: Egypt has almost zero weapons sales, but their home defense industry has built more weapons than South Africa including missiles and armoured vehicles.South Africa produces and designs more weapons than any other African country. |
agaugust: [size=14pt]If sending out support vessel and submarine to Argentina isn't a sign projection. Then you must rewrite and define the phrase. |
