they are just afraid of having F in his course.
It's not good to be intimidated.
This shows they don't have any right.
Reducing their mark in their assessments would have been a better option and a better lesson to them than this.
what right does he have to reduce their marks. he can report them to school disciplinary committee. does he think thugs cannot beat him in dark corners or burn his house down.?

I will talk to you like you have gotten admisssion already.
First and foremost, are you sure it is what you truly want, how bad do u want it? Some day you will wake up and regret it o. This is normal.

Second, if medicine didnt pay well in three years time, not just in nigeria but worldwide, would you still do it?

Third, is the God you worship with you on this and have you confirmed it?

Fourth, please realise that you need to work hard enough and keep thinking in your mind for medicine alone, do not entertain thoughts of failing or anything else, work hard like you have no God and pray like you have not read.

Fifth, please realise that medicine is hard, but my tip, you just need to work hard to pass, but if you want to go for distinction please feel free but balance is key.

Sixth, medicine is not about being brilliant ask any doctor, but being smart, being able to conform to the norm and still be able to think out of the box. When you get in you will see many people more brillant than you failing and getting withdrawn.

Last, medicine is a team effort. It is one thing they teach you. Dont be afraid to ask for help. Pls also learn a skill you love apart from medicine, one of my classmates was a model, three were artists, they could charge 100k per drawing, two were into IT and computer stuff, two were fashion designers. I was a baker and pastry coinesseur. It is very important to develop a life outside med school.

FamilyRe: I Lost My Job, Now I Am Losing My Dignity At Home by mikolo80: 8:28am On Jul 05, 2017
mylander:
Please advise.

I was in an employment of a bank until recently when my employment was terminated.

When I had the job, I took my family welfare as my priory. My wife and our only son were faring good, I always ensure we do not lack the basic necessities. Meanwhile, my wife did not have a job then. All the house upkeep expenses including the cost of running her postgraduate program were on me and I felt comfortable bearing the costs as the breadwinner of the family.

After I lost my job in the bank some month ago, my wife got an employment with the state govt. With her little income, she has been able to assist in bearing some expenses, even she pays for fuelling our car sometimes.

The drama has now started in the house and our marriage is on the verge of breaking up.

Any little issue, my wife will turn it to quarrel, different abuses. Funny enough, she would be referring to the financial supports she has been rendering in the house. This is a woman that did not work at all for 2 years and I was bearing all the expenses with pleasure. Now she had only supported me for about 4months now and she's is misbehaving.

To my surprise, my wife maintains a record in which she records every penny she spends in the house including food items and fuel. With this, she always ask me when will I pay him back.

At the instance of a simple argument/misunderstanding, my wife would be boasting of 'I paid for this, I paid for that....' 'If not for my support since you had problem at work......'

Please advise me, I am getting fed-up with the situation, my wife had changed totally.
Shebi na you wan marry bling bling wife

fastgyal:
but on a serious note, we have really Good doctors here.
we are our own problem.
most hospitals are short-staffed and the doctors are overworked. With Nigeria taking the negative lead in several global health indicators, health personnel who should help reverse the tide are in short supply across the country with training and recruitment increasingly ebbing.
Currently, the country has a little above 600 paediatricians to care for its over 40 million children, compared to the United Kingdom’s over 5,000 for 20 million children. The figures are more depressing in other areas of medical specialisation. With the rising cases of cancer across the country, there are only a little above 15 oncologists; 10 neurosurgeons to attend to issues related to the nervous system; and 120 urologists to manage conditions related to the male urinary tract and reproductive organs such as prostate, kidney, bladder cancers, prostate cancer, testicular cancers, infertility in men, sexual dysfunction etc.
There's no motivation at all for these doctors, causing them to handle their work with less care.
many of them are underpaid, less widely appreciated and undergo professionalism with tears.
When those in power learn to start doing the right thing, then we'd start getting the right appraisals.
got to get the economy right so the masses have purchasing power and disposable income

How do you make a profit cos dollar is 362 now

Depends on how much you intend to put into this, your area of interest, your target market and environment. Personally, I would buy phones (he can find very clean phones in his locality) , laptops, gadgets and accessories. They all move fast.
If there are other items that you're into, buy. Some people will buy Supplements, clothes, perfumes depends on what they thing they can market well. It's advisable you have to have some level of interest in what you sell.

Goodluck.

Bros,

Ok let me keep it elementary

1. Imagine your generator, inverter or Solar panels at home, how they give you electricity when Disco fails to supply power?
2. Imagine that on a larger scale and made permanent
3. Off-grid simply means is not routed through the grip
4. A Gas-powered generators or mini-power plant can be installed in these hospitals and there are Companies that have run gas pipelines to industrial areas and homes. These companies supply Gas (e.g. GasLink - an Oando subsidiary) to these generators or mini-plants enabling it to have power uninterrupted. This model has been run by Nestle in Ilupeju and Agbara, Academy Press in Ilupeju for almost a decade
5. Lagos state government under Fashola did a pilot in conjunction with DFID to power schools, Hospitals and rural communities. This is what Osinbajo's office is replicating on a larger scale today. The thirty something year old woman (Engr. (Ms) Damilola Ogunbiyi)
6. Even if the hospital cannot afford to build power or solar-plant or wind-mill, there are private Gencos who will build power-plants and supply to customers.
