Seriously, unlike the states you mentioned, Akwa Ibom will forever be with Udom because he's the only true leader and Governor since history. Aside his performance, the people of the state have this rotational unwritten agreement to allow all 3 zones enjoy 8 Years each.

1999-2007 it was Uyo District (Obong Victor Attah)

2007- 2015 it was Ikot-Ekpene district (Godswill Akpabio)


2015-2023 is now for Eket Senatorial district (Udom Emmanuel)

It is expected to return to Uyo (or Ikot-Ekpene) in 2023. You see Akwa Ibomites aren't willing to change this anytime soon.

Beside, Udom has performed excellently and the Dakkada philosophy is working
